She was simply too stubborn to have learned her lesson the first time, and despite her rather humiliating defeat and sickness, she took to patrolling the streets again. Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers, didn't WANT to lurk the streets on her own, but her other Senshi were either sick or busy, and so she sucked it up and once again took to the streets, armed and ready, despite how stuffy her nose was and the occasional cough. She couldn't wait for this damned flu to pass!

'Maybe if I actually followed Maddy's advice and laid still, but what if the Negaverse doesn't take a break? Or the Dark Mirror Court?'

That experience still lingered with her, even as she heard the sound of echoing footsteps behind her. It didn't take one with a sixth sense to know that she was being followed right now, and a quick glance confirmed that it was most definitely a Youma. And a rather ugly one at that. Of course she had joked that it would have been a lamppost that would do her in, so naturally, when one seemed to be following her, she knew she was in for a fight. Whether it knew that she knew it was following her was unclear, but Sailor Tsui was more than willing to strike soon, and when she did, she made sure to use her good leg, not wanting to risk any further damage to her ankle.

She half expected the blow to hurt, as she would have been kicking a metal pole, but she was more than surprised when it began to wobble, rafting with the wind and sounding like a saw when wriggled about. She also got smacked in the head with one of its candled limps, backing away just in time and lurking it away from the streets and into either an alley or a back street. She didn't want to risk civilians getting involved...

"Alright, pal, bring it on!" She yelled to the Youma, watching it give chase and taking a more true form. It was like a giant walking stick, and never one to shirk at a bug of any kind, Tsui was not intimidated. That was, until, she heard a noise behind her and realized that she ran right into the path of a second one! "T-two? No way!"

Now she was in a pickle, stopping in her mad dash and looking back and forth between the two. Which one would she attack first? What if her Tiger Fist Strike missed again? "Drats... I knew I shouldn't have come alone!"

Celsus had, in fact, been doing nothing in particular when he noticed the power signature.

Or rather, the multiple power signatures.

Sitting up in his favorite spot to do a bit of surveillance, Celsus, Squire of Chronos, was perched up on a high branch of a thickly populated tree, his legs stretched out in front of him, fingers linked behind his head. He'd been watching and waiting for something exciting to happen (nothing had) and contemplating the number of times he could get away with sneaking out without Tolliver noticing (six more), and now he had moved on to wondering what would be a good time to go back to go back home (he'd give it another hour).

But, however, it turned out that perhaps not leaving quite yet was a good thing.

A power signature a short distance away sizzled through the air and down his spine, and Celsus leaned forward, eyebrows lifting. Carefully he unfurled his legs and dropped down out of the tree, already starting to jog along the way towards the energy.

He found it on one of the dark streets that led down into a shadowy alley - a senshi that he had never seen before, shouting angrily at the youma, of which there were two. She was looking frustrated, her eyes darting from one creature to the other.

"Oh, it's been a while since I've fought a good youma."

There was a whizzing sound as Celsus' leg shot out, a swift roundhouse kick to one of the youma to send it careening sideways, slamming into the brickwall of the alleyway. It gave a horrible shriek and staggered, clearly disoriented, and Celsus took the moment to flash a bright smile at the senshi, sweeping into a half bow.

"I don't believe we've met before. Celsus, Squire of Chronos, at your service."

Tsui had never met a knight before, and she was thoroughly impressed with his skills, watching in barely contained awe as he roundhouse kicked the youma into the wall. He swept into a half bow, introducing himself as the youma that was chasing her down the streets drew closer.

"I don't believe we've met before. Celsus, Squire of Chronos, at your service."

"Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers! Kind of new," Tsui said, feeling much more relaxed now that there was someone else here to help her. Normally she wouldn't have minded going alone, but recent endeavors shook her, and she knew that she could definitely use all the help she could get. She had no idea who or what Chronos was, but she didn't think to ask yet, as the other youma charged at them. "Look out!"

She jumped to the right, narrowly avoiding the youma's swinging arms and hoping that Celsus was able to dodge it as well. She had no idea who he was or what he was capable of (except delivering a fierce roundhouse kick), but her mind was already trying to come up with a strategy to defeat the two monsters. "If you can find a way to keep one still, I can try to take one out with my Tiger Fist Strike!"

"A pleasure, Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers!" said Celsus jovially, with another bright smile even as the two youma around them made noises of anger and frustration, the one he had kicked wobbling towards him with murderous intent.

One of them grabbed his arm, yanking him sideways and sending him stumbling several feet, Celsus accidentally running into the brick wall in the process. It kind of hurt, but didn't leave much more than a scrape along his arm and knocking a bit of the air from his lungs.

"Ow. That wasn't very nice," he complained as he straightened, cocking his head to the side and surveying the two youma in front of them with a mock sort of glare on his face. But he took a few light steps backwards, drawing one of them towards him.

"Sounds good to me," said Celsus cheerfully, and threw out his fist to land a punch to the youma, trying to get it further away from the other one. "I'll just keep this one here occupied, shall I?"

Laughing, he kicked out again (roundhouses kicks were a specialty of his, making up for what he lacked in upper body strength; he had never been particularly good at hitting things...), and then danced sideways, moving constantly.

"Come and get me~~~"

The lampposts Youma screeched, falling for Celsus' bait and lumbering towards the knight, the one that was kicked moving much slower than his companion but its rage was visibly seen with how the lights on his limbs flashing a bright blue. Tsui was looking and waiting for an opportunity, trying to get some good out of her previous battle so that she wouldn't mess up again. She couldn't afford to miss, as the wall of the alley would be quite painful and now there was an ally that she didn't want to hit. That would have left a really bad first impression, and Tsui didn't like that idea.

The kicked Youma gave another roar, getting too close to Celsus but walking right into a straight line, putting itself in a position that it did NOT want to be in. Seeing her chance, she growled, gathering up the white energy in her hands and preparing her charge. She gave a shout, her warning meant to distract the Youma but alert Celsus that she was about to strike. "Here I come! Tiger Fist STRIKE!"

She rushed forward, silently praying that her aim was good and she hit the monster that turned towards her, and her aim was true, the x-like slashes hitting the Youma and pushing it back and onto the floor. It didn't kill it outright, but it at least knocked it far enough back to that they could focus on the other Youma.

It took her a moment to recover, turning her head and watching the other Youma pulling away from Celsus and going for her. She cursed, trying to get back up but momentarily exhausted from her attack and her injury from her previous fight catching up with her. "Dangit!"

Truth be told, Celsus rather wanted the youma to come towards him. He danced back and forth, watching it weave this way and that, and laughter bubbled from his throat, loud and clear and cheerful. He could hear Tsui yelling out her attack, hearing a loud crash as the youma she was fighting fell to the ground.

"Nicely done, my dear!" he called out, and kicked out, the youma he was fighting making an angry snarling noise as it advanced towards him menacingly.

"All right," said Celsus, and grinned, reaching for the pendant around his neck. "Let's not get too close - how about you just back up a little - "

He twisted the gold medallion - and as he did so the youma itself twisted around as well, mimicking the gesture. It stumbled around, confused as to why it was suddenly facing a different direction, and Celsus laughed again, darting backwards.

"And once more - "

He spun the golden medallion, engraved with the seal of Chronos and the youma spun with it, back to facing Celsus. He flung himself forward and raised his leg, slamming a roundhouse kick to its head.

It collapsed - and didn't move. Celsus took a step back, brushing off his hands and turning to look at Tsui.

"Finished with yours, then?" he asked cheerfully."

Tsui wished that she would have had the time to watch Celsus in action; she's never encountered a Knight before, though she heard of them in brief from the few other Senshi she's met, and she wanted to see how they could fight. Yet, it seemed that the youma she knocked down was a lover of pain, as it was able to make it way back up while she was trying to watch him fight. It gave another screech, and Tsui took a cautious step back, not out of fear, but to figure out a way to dust this youma without exhausting herself too much. This cold and ankle were bad enough; she did NOT want to go home to explain the new bruises to Maddy.

Time was running out, and without warning, the youma charged at her again. Tsui immediately turned around and ran towards the alley wall, jumping onto the wall and pushing herself off, just as she finished gathering energy in her arms for another round of her signature attack. Like a white blur, Tsui charged forward and slammed the youma back again, using the extra leverage from the wall to send it slamming into the opposite wall. Her own landing wasn't as smooth as she would have wanted, but she was able to stop herself from hitting the wall next to it and flopping onto her butt. The youma gave one last, pathetic groan, before it toppled upon itself and laid next to its fallen comrade.

The cheerfulness she heard in Celsus' voice was a little offsetting, but Tsui tried her best to laugh it off, trying to pull herself back to her feet, though her cold, her still recovering ankle, and now battle fatigue, were working against her. "Just about... they're not moving anymore, so either they're dead, or we were fighting the same hallucination the whole time..."

Tsui gave them a glance over as she finally stood up, trying to conceal how she favored one ankle as she watched them begin to fade to black dust, letting her know that they wouldn't be a problem anymore tonight. "But great job you did, with that pendant of yours. Where'd you learn such a trick?"
