I don't know how to start this but I think I should start it from what caused my trauma. Last month I saw a terrible traffic accident that forced me to see human's abdomen organs scattered in the street. That accident gave me two kind of trauma: 1. I lost my courage to drive my motorcycle 2. I can't stand to see a real picture abdomen organ(s) even for animal.
I got the courage to drive my motorcycle back within two weeks. I forced myself to drive my motorcycle even if I was scared, chilled and drove it like a snail in the street. And now I can drive it calmly even if I can't drive it as fast as I used to be.
The second trauma still haven't cured (yet). It didn't make me hysteric but it gave a rather great chill in my spines and also make me want to cry. It become a nuisance and big problem for me as a biology university student. Many subject that must I take will related with digestion system that surely will perform abdomen organs. Moreover I take animal structure (almost the same as animal anatomy) and animal development this semester. I already told my professor about my trauma and since she also know the accident (her neightbour also a witness) she wouldn't mind about my weird action in class (when she show abdomen organs), as long as that not disturbed my study. But it will likely disturbing my study moreover about the practice. My senior said that the practice for animal structure was dissect an animal that can't I do if my trauma haven't cured (yet).
Maybe I can cure it if I force myself to see it bit a bit (like what I did to sure my trauma about motorcycle) but I don't have place to do it. I don't want to do it in class because I hate crying in front of people that I don't close to. And I don't want to do it in my house and have a nightmare about it.
Help me please^^! Any idea would really help me! biggrin
Btw, don't criticize my grammar, please!^^ Yes, I know it not a proper grammar but I'm in the middle of improve it since I don't live in a country that use English as daily language.

Why don't you try going to a therapist? They might be able to give you some insight on your situation and also might be able to give a professional opinion on how to go about dealing with the trauma you've been through. You could try to do it the way you did with your motorcycle, but remember not to force yourself to do things that make you feel uncomfortable. This is something that may effect your future career though, so I would definitely see a therapist if you can't deal with it on your own.

Thank you for your suggestion^^! But about going to therapist will likely can't I do. Therapist are not familiar in my country and still rare, it's hard to find them except in big city and I don't think my family could pay them. sweatdrop Yes, I'll try to not to force myself. I must force myself about the motorcycle because I can't help it. I usually goes to university with it since use public transportation more expensive.

Well if you can't go to a therapist do you have anyone you know that has more life experience you could talk to? Like a parent or older sibling?

My parents already know about it since I cried in front of my mother after I saw it. But my parents not know many things about psychology and I don't have other sibling since I'm an only child^^.
But when you said about someone more experience, I think I can ask my mentor in high school^^. Thank you a lot for your suggestion! biggrin

that would be pretty traumatizing. about a year ago, i saw a wrecker pulling the back half of a car up onto it's bed. i have no idea where the other half of the car was or what happened to the occupants, but it was definitely a disturbing sight to see. i was driving at the time and really had no choice but to keep on moving. i guess i got over it. i trust in my ability to react and drive defensively in a moments notice. that is pretty calming. but being on a motorcycle, you are a little less protected. on the other hand, you are ten time more maneuverable, can stop faster, and start quicker. honestly, if i was on a motorcycle, i would feel more safe when things got hairy. Edit: as far as meaty parts are concerned, i would probably be queasy around them for some time too. i guess that will need to pass on it's own.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. But if you see the accident I saw, I don't think you would said "if I was on a motorcycle,I would feel more safe when things got hairy" since the victim was a motorcycle rider (the hitchhiker to be precise). That was shy I was trauma to ride it even if, yes, I trust my ability to ride it.
And yes, the meaty part is the main thing that make me trauma. I never scared of blood. Actually I just saw blood when I first saw but since I went down from my motorcycle and tried to help the victim, the things that I didn't see before became visible and make me trauma.

My father's side of the family is mostly doctors and surgeons. There is one uncle though who went into business. He said he couldn't look at blood or a body. He said its something you're just born with. I understand that this isn't very comforting, but there is always the possibility to try something else.
With that said, I'm really sorry to hear your first time seeing stuff like that had to be in a vehicular accident. Its usually a lot easier to handle with slowly learning in a classroom.

Are you friends with any of your classmates? Maybe you could ask them to help you get over the trauma. By working with you on it outside of class, perhaps.

I grew riding motorcycles and atvs and have been in near death situations myself. I suppose that gives me an advantage. Or maybe i'm just a daredevil. I do understand the Mental shock you have experienced. I know a couple people with similar experiences, but none of them took it quite so hard. Everone is different. I'm sure time will help. It usually does.
