Rai is an orphan who lives alone in a boken down shack in the back of the village. He lives amoungst a wolf pack that appeared to have adopted him (hence the lastname Ookami). Out of the wolves, only one talks. It is red and its name is Fang. She is the wolf pack's leader. Rai has lived alone amoungst the wolves for as long as he can remember. From what Fang told him, his father had owned this pack once. Due to his pendant with the symbol for wind on it, he believes he may be frome sunagakure, but is unsure weather or not it's true.He appears to be in possesion of the kekkei genkai Magnet release. This leads to some people thinking he's related to the third kazekage, and is infact a member of the sand village.
