Ryusenka stood under a tree glaring at the world around her, why did it have to be so darned hot? Like it wasn't bad enough that she had to deal with everyone treating her like a little fragile child all the time, now she had to deal with all this heat to. It was ridiculous, no it was worse then that. She looked over at the shops just to her left, she could go over to them, but knowing how others felt about heat she doubted they would be anymore comfortable then where she was now. She silently cursed her situation, before hearing something that sounded oddly like an ice cream cart she left her hiding spot to go get one, at least that would be cool.

Lebbaeus trotted along the street. It was hot outside, hotter than usual actually. The sun shined on his fur and he loved seeing people gathered in the shade of trees. It made the sidewalks empty so he didn’t have to fight through a crowd to get where he needed to go. But as much as he loved clear streets the heat was just a bit too uncomfortable. It must be at least 108 degrees outside, He thought to himself. Because of his affinity with fire he was usually dead on about what temperature it was outside as long as it was above 75 degrees. Just then he heard the jingle of bells a little ways off; an ice cream vendor. It was so hot he decided he could probably go for a lemon pop. He ran off in the direction of the bells. He was almost there when he ran by a small tree; something dark and fast darted out from under it. Lebbaeus tried to slow down but it was too late, he crashed right into the Noodle and sent them both sprawled along the pavement.

Ryusenka looked up a scowl etched onto her face. 'What the heck was that?' she thought to herself as she plucked herself up off the ground, taking a quick look around she saw another Noodle laying on the ground, 'he must have run into me...' she thought as her scowl deepened. She sat down looking at the other, not speaking just looking at him. As far as she was concerned the whole situation was entirely the males fault. Clearly she could have had nothing to do with as she would never do anything so childish, there for she could not have any fault in the situation what so ever. Her tail flicked behind her in an irritated way. She thought for a moment about just getting up and walking away but then everyone would start treating her like a little kid again, and that was the one thing she hated more then the heat.

Lebbaeus slowly peeled himself off the sidewalk then checked to make sure he was still in one piece. Besides some scrapped up paws and some burns from the hot pavement he was fine. He turned around to see a dark blue Noodle staring at him coolly through narrowed eyes. ”Pardon me miss,” He nodded his head in greeting. She was the prettiest thing he had every seen. Her fur reminded him of cool winter nights, her spots glowing like frozen embers. ”I didn’t mean to run into you. You should be more careful when you dash out like that. I didn’t see you until the last minute.” She just sat there looking irritated, flicking her tail, watching him. ”I’m guessing you heard the ice cream vendor as well? Come on, I’ll buy you some as an apology.” He brushed out his fur and offered her his paw.

Aria-E-G TAG! I am SO sorry it took me so long to anything posted! I hope you still want to RP with me, if not I understand. Ryusenka blinked in shock at his offer, her eyes opening wider she took in the others appearance, there was something about him that reminded her greatly of chocolate mixed with crushed red pepper a favorite drink of her's in the winter. Why did this unknown male have to be so charming? She wondered without moving. After a long silent moment she nodded her head with a brisk flick of her tail. "Yes that's right I was just on my over to get some because it's so hot out today." She studied him for a moment longer, "I would like that very much." She said before standing taking his paw in her own. "What's your name?" She asked her tone of voice never once changing.

Lebbaeus stood awkwardly for a second, was she going to respond? He left his hand hanging in the air; perhaps she was just dazed from their fall. Her eyes are such a pretty blue… he thought to himself. He looked away, She’s going to think I’m rude if I keep staring at her like that. There was something about her that messed with his “game”. Usually whenever Lebbaeus saw a pretty lady he would start dropping pickup lines all over the place, flirting with them, buying them drinks, etc. But this girl? She made him act more…polite. Maybe I’ve been spending too much time around Terry, he stole another glance at the female Noodle. Terence, Lebbeaus’ cousin, was the exact opposite of Lebbaeus; he was very polite around the ladies, giving them their personal space and respect. Lebbaeus had always been the party animal in the family.
Finally she spoke. He smiled warmly at her. "It is hot, isn’t it?" He said outloud. In his head all he was yelling at himself: Oh my God are you serious?! The weather??? NO talking about the weather that’s no way to start a conversation! His paw tingled, like it had been brushed against snow, when she took it. He helped her to her feet. He noted that her voice never changed in tone. Having only just met her though, he wasn’t sure if that was odd, or if that was just the way she normally sounded. "Lebbaeus at your service Ma’am." he mock bowed over her hand, then looked up and winked at her. There that sounds more like the old me, he mused. "And what is your name my dear?"

Ryusenka lowered her lashes slightly peering at him from beneath them, she was sure her house mate Mora would have accused her of flirting but right then she couldn't care. This male, this Lebbeaus, he intrigued her, made her want to know more about him. She was finding it very hard to keep her self as calm and neutral as she normally did.
"Yes it is rather hot out today. I am not a fan of the heat myself." She said softly thinking to herself 'though your warmth is not unwelcome.' she only just managed to keep back a giggle at his mock bow, there was something, charming about him. She ducked her head briefly fighting back a blush when he called her my dear, 'Why am I acting so childishly all of a sudden? It's almost like I've switched places with Acora!' She mentally berated herself. "My name is Ryusenka. It mean's dragon hail flower." She said looking back up at him.

"Luckily the heat doesn’t bother me that much. But today is a bit warm…" Lebbaeus said, flicking his eyes in the general direction of the sun. "I have an affinity with fire you see," he boasted, "it comes in handing sometimes." He smiled when she said her name. "Ryusenka! What a beautiful name for such a beautiful lady. Well my dragon flower, shall we go get some of that ice cream?" His cockiness hid his nerves well. But he was a afraid he might overdo it. Easy now, he told himself This isn’t some cheap floozy at a bar. Miss Ryusenka looks like a more then decent high-class lady. If you mess up that’s it. She’s gone and you’ll never get to see her again.
He realized, as they walked towards he sound of the tinkling ice cream bells, that he was still holding her paw. Lebbaeus dropped it quickly and looked away. "Ah…sorry…I didn't mean…I mean I didn't realize…" Not wanting to sound like an idiot he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly and stopped talking. Way to go man, he told himself, Now you’ve done it.

Ryusenka regarded him for a long moment, "I prefer the cold myself, I think the ice is a wonderful thing so filled with beauty, it is my preferred element, I guess you could say." She said simply it was the truth, what point was there in saying that she liked fire? There was never one, she narrowed her eyes slightly when he called her his dragon flower, then decided that it could just be his way of speaking and that there was no point getting angry over it. "Yes I think some ice cream would be very nice right about now."
She looked down when he dropped her paw, she hadn't even noticed that he was still holding it. How did she not notice that? "N-no it's fine..." She said softly as she lowered her head slightly and motioned for him to keep walking before walking again, her tail swishing lightly behind her.

"Ice, huh?" He asked, cocking his head and acting very interested, trying to hide his embarrassment. He glanced over and looked her up and down. "Well it suits you, that’s for sure." They walked a little more in silence lost in thought. "Haha, fire and ice…" Leb muttered, smiling to himself.
"Sooo, um…what kind of ice cream do you like?" he inquired lamely. His tail flicked back and forth. The sun, while it usually felt like an old friend greeting him, now felt as though it was glaring at him. It judged him for acting so stupid, especially in front of such a pretty Noodle. "Uh…so what brings you to town? Do you live around here?" He just asked the first thing that came to his mind to try and fill the awkward silence. He hopped she didn't think he was being to personal.
