By the time Adi had gotten back to Whisteria's house the day before, she'd been gone for hours more or less running all around Darnassus, and was as tired as she could ever remember being. She was also missing most of one wing, having shared it with her newest friends - about a dozen night elf children who were about as fascinated by her as she was by them. Although she'd planned on going to visit the worgen with Elik's aunt, she'd just been too tired, and had dragged herself upstairs to sleep.
But now she was awake, and she was ready to do some more exploring! First, though, there was something she had to do...
Which was flip a sleeping Elik out of his hammock.

Elik had been, of course, sleeping. And being perfectly content with said sleeping, his mind oddly a little lighter and yet heavier than when before Adi had left to explore, through thankfully there had been no nightmares.
His sleep had been perfectly uneventful and content up until he was so rudely awakened, hitting the wooden floor with a loud thud when Adi spun him.
"ACK !" Add a scream to that, and poor Elik was sprawled there, and it took entirely too long for him to add up what had happened. "Was that really necessary, Adi ?"
Really, he was no stranger to rude awakenings, but still !

"Yes~!" Adi crowed victoriously when her sneak-attack was successful, throwing both hands up in the air and laughing. Oh, oh, that was awesome!
She grinned down at the floored night elf, clearly immensely pleased with herself, and answered as though it should be obvious "...Yes."

"Ngh." Really, a bit of a... rough wake up call might be appreciated, next time. He shook his head as if to bring the world in proper focus. and yawned. "Have you been awake long ?"
Maybe she'd just gotten fed up with having to wait for him to wake up ?

"Nope, I just got up!" she answered. It probably wasn't that surprising that Adi was so energetic so soon after waking, really, especially given where they were. "Can we go exploring now? I wanna see what's outside of town!"
And subsequently have Elik all to herself. That, too.

"Well, of course she would want to go out and explore. But he had hoped she might let him sleep, at least...
But well. Too late for that. He yawned and finally sat. "Give the old man a few minutes ?" He said, amused. "Then I can get us some quick breakfast and we can go."
Wouldn't do to go on an empty stomach, after all.

Adi opened her mouth to retort that Elik wasn't old, but realized that might bring up a subject she would rather avoid for as long as possible, and hastily covered with "Okay! I'll just go play with the kittens."
She had been veeery tempted to sneak one upstairs to cuddle with while she slept, but she'd been good. She headed down the stairs to leave Elik to himself for the few minutes he'd requested.

It wasn't long before Elik did come down, his wet hair revealing that he had bathed in a rather quick way, less the excitable little werewolf lose what was left of her patience. Through, with kittens in the equation, she might have been able to wait all day.
Whisteria was still asleep, which had surprised him, but he saw no need to awaken her - he would simply leave a note, after he went to fix breakfast as he had promised.

Though it wasn't long, by the time Elik did come down, Adi was happily entertaining three of the cubs with her ribboned tail and cuddling the fourth. She was, indeed, sufficiently distracted...maybe not enough to last the whole day, but definitely enough that she would survive until breakfast was ready.

Well, distracted enough that Elik was left to stare at the scene, expression amused, for a full minute without her noticing him, once breakfast was indeed ready.
"If you don't hurry up, im just going to eat your share." Well, that should catch Adi's attention !

Ack! That was a terrible threat indeed, and Adi put Valir down with a quick pat on the head. She hopped up, much to the disappointment of the small herd of kittens, and scurried to 'save' her portion. "Alright, alright, I'm coming!"

Ha ! Well, that always seemed to work.
It was simple breakfast, really - deer sausage and eggs, but to Elik's merit nothing was burnt and everything was perfectly edible. He could have tried something more... Well, traditional for her to taste and try out, but he was nowhere near the cook that Whisteria was, so that would have ended in disaster.

Adi was perfectly happy to see the 'normal' food - that vegetable stuff had been good, but meat was always better! She was half werewolf, after all. Her tail wagged while she ate, a quiet indication that she approved of Elik's efforts. "'s good!"
And now that they were done, could they please please go outside?

"Why thank you." The half-werewolf's eagerness was nearly tangible, through, so he washed the dishes quickly, left an aunt for his aunt, then off with her he went, into the slightly cool air of the morning.
"Was there anything in particular you would like to see ?"

That was a good question, and one that Adi didn't really have an answer for. "Um. Everything? What's best outside town?"
