Throwing her keys into the ordainment bowl next to the door of her flat on the way in, Essa placed down her bag and walked to her fridge. Grabbing some chicken breast bites and some sweet and sour sauce. Whilst munching on these, Essa went back to her bag in the hallway where she had her little bits of shopping, some bottles of soda, a handful of pokeballs and a small can of paint to finally finish off the rooms paint. She had chosen a lovely sunrise orange to paint her hallway, it was only a quarter done and this small can probably wouldn't last to get to half.
I hope i get this done soon, i hate walking in here after a hard day and seeing it half done with a dull grey filling the most of it...
With half the day still wandering around her window, Essa took off her arm warmers and got to work. Making sure not to have her music too loud due to last time her neighbour complaints caused her much grief, Essa grabbed her paintbrush from the sink and dipped into the can...
Hold on....
Essa looked around the hallway, then moved into the kitchen, the small living room and her even smaller bedroom, opening the only other door, except for the front door, to bathroom. Each time Essa getting more and more ticked off. Finally she went back to the living room and stood to have one look around before...
"now where on earth did she go THIS time... scream "
This cant be, she was right behind me when we got into the flat

Mist had drifted towards another one of the doors whilst her humans back had turned. She heard little sprouts of giggling and tiny sounds of feet. Human has already bored her, and she has tried almost 23 times to escape and cause some mischievousness. Up till now, she couldn't get a chance as Human had kept an annoyingly close eye on her, she probably anticipated Mists attempt to throw paint cans on everyone who came in and out of the shop. Now, with Humans back to her, getting some jingilywanglys out of her pocket to open the door, Mist went off to explore....

Down the corrider was the fainest sound of laughter, it had perked Mists interests. She floated down to a particular door where lots of colourful little hearts and flowers was attached around the bottom corners, like little toddlers had they way with colourful stickers having fun, kneeling by the door whilst their parents were doing something else. Mist smilied, she doesnt see things like this is Humans room, they looked sparkly and cute whilst Human tried for smooth, whatever she meant by that Mist didnt know. Mist hated it when Human talked randomly to her, Mist wasnt actually needed for those types of conversations, human more or less was talking more to herself on these rants that to the one she was talking to.
Mist took a long sigh, what she wanted most was to drift through the air, undisrupted for all eternity, whilst daydreaming, the laughter crept ever so more nearer. Realising humans were coming to the door she was still in front of, she rushed off to a bit the stairway she usually uses to hide from Human. It was a small dip in between the stairs and the wall, stretching all the way to the back of the stairs where light barely hits it, covering Mist in darkness...

Essa angrily grabbed her coat and scarf knowing that it was now too cold to go with the shirt she had on. In her mind she has had just just about enough of Mists behaviour however she could never shake the feeling that something had happened to her. Was she kidnapped, did she get hurt, lost? She might be a new trainer but she doesn't think her pokemon would abandon her, would she?
Racking her brains against the many possibilities, Essa soon became sick with worry as she left her flat, she didn't even bother to lock it, at that moment she didn't care for her possessions just about her pokemon. Climbing down the stairs as fast as she could she tried to think of all the spots she went to today, and all of mists usual hiding spaces.
Forgetting about the one closest to her flat...

Essa had been out for hours, it had gotten even darker than when she left. She could barely see anything past streets lamps. The darkness of the area creeped her out, but still nothing compared to the worry filling up her heart. Mist was no where to be found. Everywhere she went showed no trace of her and people she had seen that day like shop keepers and friends she had talked with said that they thought Mist had gone with her.
If only she had paided a bit more attention, just a single glance everynow and again. All she could do was walk back to her flat and hope that her pokemon was just playing some game with her...
