Hazan peeked around. He had never been in this section of...wherever he was. He was pretty sure he heard sounds this way though. Fighting sorts of sounds, but not in the "I'm going to kill you" sort of way, and being the ever curious Chikorita boy that he was, couldn't help but take a peek.
Sadly, the fighting sounds had ceased, so he couldn't really figure out if he was going the right way, so he just meandered about, hoping to randomly come across what he was looking for, or something just as interesting to come along.
Right now he was fiddling with a new toy as well. A yo-yo Abigail called it, an odd contraption to be sure. He could make it go down all well and good, but making it come back like she did was proving to be a challenge for the boy who was still getting used to the idea of fingers.

Yotta had just finished his training for the day as he cooled off in the shade of the dojo. He sat against the wall, sipping on some water and watching the others cool down. They were all meditating silently, something he didn't understand the meaning of yet.
He finished off his water in little time and took the glass inside, leaving it on the counter. He bounded outside and called to his mother, "I'mma go exploring!" He grinned and ran off, out of the dojo. The only response he received was a snicker from Brutus, despite himself and a twitch of Ayane's whiskers. The young Meowth sped through the open gate and out into the surrounding forest.
The gi-clad child nearly skipped through the forest nearby, looking for someone new to meet. "WHOA!" He halted, coming into a clearing that was being occupied by a... well, a boy, but he had a big leaf on his head. And what was that thing he had? Yotta put on a giant smile. He was so happy to see some new. "HIYA! I'm Yotta! Wha's your name?"

Hazan jerked in surprise as his attention had not been towards his surroundings at all. He looked to the voice next, and then grinned wide. Another pokeperson! He was finding them all over the place now! He knew it had to be a pokeperson, either that or this kid REALLY liked Meowths. He had known a couple of them at the hatchery before Abigail gave them back to the owners that wanted them hatched. They were a nifty pokemon, that's for sure~
"Hi there!" he waved enthusiastically, the usual chipper tone in his voice. "My name's Hazan!" he then looked over Yotta one more time, just to be sure about the pokeperson thing. "Did you find a star recently?" he asked with a grin.

"OH YEAH! I wished to become like my master, Brutus, and I DID!" Yotta's excitement amped up. "It fell from the sky and I touched it and BAM!" He laughed, much to hyper for his own good right now. "So, yeah, you found one too? That's so cool! Have you met others that've changed too? I've met a few! One I even met BEFORE they changed." He was practically bouncing up and down at this point. "So, whatcha doin' here?" There was a giant grin on his face, eager to learn more about this boy whom he was already deeming "friend."

"Yeah, I've met one other. He...was kinda grumpy though. Always frowning and his voice always sounded mean..." Hazan frowned a bit at the memory before perking right back up again. "Really? That must be neat, to see how they were before and then after they found a star!"
Hazan thought for a moment. What was he doing here again? Oh right!
"I was exploring! I always like wandering around and finding new places and stuff like that, and I heard fighting sounds...not BAD fighting sounds, more like...I dunno...training fighting sounds? Anyway, I was curious as to what the sounds were so I started following them, but they stopped so I just went back to wandering around to see if I could find something or someone interesting, and here you are!" Hazan gestured enthusiastically to Yotta at that last part.

"Aw man, dat's not cool!" Yotta groaned, "Why would somebody be grumpy about bein' changed? Dis is like, the coolest thing in... well, ever!" His feelings about being changed were unmistakable.
"Exploring?" Yotta grinned from ear-to-ear. He explored all the time, especially around this area. He always seemed to find something new, like today, he found Hazan. "I go explorin' all the time!"
"OH?! You probably heard me an' my um... team, training!" he explained, though he was unsure of the correct terminology to use to explain his relationship with the others in his home. "We train everyday!" Yotta got a grand idea, "You wanna come see? It's not far! Just down the hill a bit!"

"I know! Thumbs make things so much easier!" Hazan agreed with a grin. "I don't know if he was grumpy about being changed...I think he'd be the kind who would be grumpy about everything... You know?"
Hazan couldn't help but grin. Another explorer! "Yay!"
"Oh? What kinda training do you do?" he asked with a tilt of his head before laughing. "Sure! I like seeing new places!"

"Oh, yeah, I totally know!" Yotta replied, the grumpy Blaziken, Nix immediately coming to mind.
"Cool! My master'd be excited to see another Pokemon like me! Dis'll be fun! We do martial arts training. It's really good for your body and your mind!" The Meowth spun, getting ready to head back the way he came. His exploring would have to be cut short today, but he didn't mind in the slightest, he met a new friend and needed to show him off. As he walked off, he started talking, not pausing to breathe it seemed. "I think you'll really like my master, he's like super smart! OH! And my mom! She is too! They're both great! Oh! Be careful of Nix, she a grump and she's just mean! She's a Blaziken. Everyone else is pretty okay. Goomba's really nice, but she's quiet. OH! Have you ever sparred before? If so, maybe we can spar! It's fun! It's like fighting, but... um... not really? I mean, you still throw punches and kicks and stuff, but nothing to really hurt the other person. It's s'post ta help with control and blocking and stuff... I dunno if I'm all that great at it, but that's what practice is for, right?" He chuckled and turned to look at his companion, as they approached the outer wall of the dojo.
"Welp, here it is." He gestured in a grandiose fashion. "This is the Inner Strength Dojo."

For once, Hazan had met his match in chattiness. Not that he minded, it was nice to know that there were people out there who actually spoke without being verbally prodded now and again.
"It sounds super nifty, but I haven't done much..." he paused, thinking. "Sparring was it? I am more of a distance fighter myself," he commented as one of his neck buds wiggled and became a vine. "See? This way I don't have to get as close." He paused for a moment, thinking. "In fact, I'm not sure if I can learn any fighting type moves..." he then chuckled, but fell silent at the sight of the dojo.
"Aww nifty!" he practically squeaked. "It's almost like I'm inna movie! This is so cool!"

"That's neat!" the Meowth boy exclaimed when his Chikorita counterpart produced a vine from one of his neck buds. "How'd ya do that?"
"I can't learn any fighting moves..." Yotta trailed off, a hint of sadness in his voice. Nix had made it abundantly clear that he was not a Fighting-type, but a humdrum Normal-type. Not only was he a Normal-type, but he was one of the few that could not learn a single Fighting-type move. He was happy that Hazan had continued, thus getting his mind off of the unpleasant thoughts.
"Yeah, it's pretty cool." He smiled, regaining his chipper demenor. "Wanna go inside?" He pushed the main door open, revealing a long stone walkway that led to a large wooden building. On either side of the walkway were clearing for various types of training. At the moment there were wooden training dummies dotting both sides, but none had a partner. it seemed everyone was taking a break.

Hazan shrugged "I dunno, it's just been something I've always been able to do, you know?" That wasn't a good explanation at all...
"Sure!" he said, and followed Yotta into the dojo. It was so nifty here, though he was happy that the one pokemon Yotta talked about, Nix was it? wasn't there. He was in no mood for a grumpy person to ruin this fun right now.
"This is nifty!" he said, wandering over to one of the training dummies and poking at it curiously. It creaked a bit as he did so, and for some reason it made him chuckle a bit louder then he should have. He couldn't help it though, all of this was so exciting! He knew a couple of fighting types back at the ranch who would love a chance to train here!
"Oh man, so many pokemon back are going to be so jealous when I tell them I came to a dojo that pokemon can train at!" he said, practically fanboying at the chance to rub it in to someones face. Hazan never got along with many of the fighting types. They were always trying to use him as a punching back back when he was a normal chikorita.

"Glad you think so," the Meowth grinned from ear to ear. Yotta was always happy to show the place off, especially if the person he was showing it to thought it was awesome. His tail bobbed from side to side eagerly.
"Hey, wanna train?" The ridiculous idea came to mind and he hoped that Hazan didn't think it was too ridiculous. "If ya need me to, I can show you some cool moves an' stuff!"

Hazan thought about it for a moment. Train? He really did prefer distance fighting, but it might be nice to know some more human based fighting in case an unsavory character got too close.
"Sure, maybe for a little," he said finally, looking around. "Just not too long, okay? I still need to figure out how I get back home from here. Abigale and Mama Cama don't like it when I'm out after dark..." he explained. "Or, Mama Cama doesn't. She always gets yelly at me, especially now that I've changed..."

Yotta nodded, the smile falling a little bit. He knew how parents could worry, but he didn't want his new friend to leave so soon after meeting him. "Aw, okay. If you help, I can help ya go in the right direction at least."
He went up to one of the training dummies. "I'll jus' show ya something that's real easy ta get someone back, away from ya." He squared up against the dummy and kicked his front leg out, the ball of his foot hitting the wood. "It's called a front kick. It'll cause people to falter backwards at least a few steps." He stepped away from the dummy and motioned for Hazan to take his place. "Go ahead."

"Okay," Hazan said as he moved to where Yotta was standing before, but not before putting down his bag. That, he figured, would end up getting in the way. He measured himself up to Yotta quickly, adjusting a bit to where he himself would think would be the optimal place to stand. However seeing as Yotta wasn't right next to him, he thought wrong and as the attempted the kick, he realized he was a bit too far away, and due to the lack of connection, lost balance and toppled over.
"Guh..." he sputtered attempting to right himself, but he wasn't doing the greatest job of it.
