APPEARANCE: Fair-skinned, of average body-type, and a little on the short side. Alice is in excellent physical shape as a result of her position and training as a guard.
She prefers to wear skirts, and chooses designs that allow for as much freedom of movement as possible. She is always blindfolded, and almost always armed. Her preferred weapon is a b*****d/hand-and-a-half sword that she wears on her back, in a sheath that leaves some of the blade exposed to make it easier to draw.
BACKGROUND: Prior to coming to the Pantheon, Alice spent the better part of the eight years living in a mysterious castle - the Castle, as its inhabitants refer to it - as part of its Court, reincarnated and reunited after untold years. Each possess a Tarot card, and with it a station and purpose; hers is Justice, 11, and she is Captain of the Guard.
Early on, the Castle was full of tricks, and Alice of self-doubt. But then, for unknown reasons, the trials trickled to an end, and her new home became mostly quiet. Her only worry for some time was when that would change, and what had happened to some other members of the deck. Most were scarce, and a few seemed to disappear entirely. She often wonders after those she considered friends, such as the Tower and the Lovers, but it is the Hanged Man in particular she dwells on: the thief she trusted unconditionally, and perhaps had begun to love.
When the End began, she at first assumed the Castle had started up again, but when she attempted to take a routine trip back to the 'real world' and ended up somewhere unfamiliar and very obviously suffering from the same issues the Castle bad been, it became clear that something else was going on. While investigating the matter, she lost the card that allowed her to return to the Castle, and as such was stuck, and had to survive alone.
The self-doubt she had managed to hide behind a front of self-confidence and self-righteousness has come creeping back, and Alice is not as certain of things as she likes to pretend to be.
NOTES: Alice sees quite normally with her blindfold on; without it, she is blind. She can sense and amplify feelings of guilt in others.

Hector: A stray mutt from the streets of the city nearest the Pantheon. His exact mix is unidentifiable, but he's relatively large dog, weighing in at about seventy pounds. He has a thick, shepherd-like coat, which is brindle in coloration with a white patch on the chest.
Gryne: Alice found Gryne wandering the streets as a puppy with an injured paw, and took her home 'just to make sure she was okay.' She is now full-grown, and looks to be mostly shepherd blood. Left ear up, right ear down, predominantly white with a brown patch over the right side of her face.
