July 27-29 is When Otakon starts~!

~Are you going?
~If so, who are you going as?
~How much Pocky are you going to 'play' with?
I will be going as either as Butler!England or South Korea
~I will be going with me little group of friends which consist of: Romano, Rin, and Maybe a few other people~

I was gona but my friend from England has not been on, and the only reason I would travel cross country is to see him. I can NOT be left alone with my RP brother... I might kill him. mrgreen

My bf wants us to go this year. If we do go it will be an excuse to see his family since we would drive right through Baltimore to get to Pennsylvania anyway.
I would like to cosplay but my Vampire England outfit doesn't look anywhere near completion (all I have is the mini top hat) and bf hasn't done anything for his Colonel Hughes cosplay from Full Metal Alchemist.

Norway_is_Sexy Ohhhhh~ I hope to see you (probably not) there! Me and my friends are thinking about going, but we already know that it's a definite yes. Awwww, I hate it when a convention is soon, and your costume isn't finished. That happened to me once when I went to Katsucon 2 years back.I was going to go as Korea, but it wasn't finished so I had to go as Shizuo. That happened to me last year at Animazement, NC. I was Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho. I had Pu made, the made the skirt, had a white shirt, and a satchel. I was only missing the jacket and maybe contacts. I only had one person to go ask "Hey are you Keiko?" and it was an Ash Ketchem that I pasted by as I was trying to find a seat to watch the cosplay Chess game. So in the end it wasn't sucessful and I couldn't get my bf in the notion to find himself a Yusake outfit since I was too busy making mine. >.>; We even came across Yukio and Hei and they didn't even bat an eye at us..... it was a sad weekend, even though we had fun regardless. Animazement The next Animazement will be coming up in May

At AX I went completely un noticed except maybe one person when i was Mint, from Threads of fate... but at Comic Con I got a LOT more attention!
I can't remember if I had my long died hair at comic con thow...
I might not get ANY convention this year thow... crying
My vacation was declined... someone else submitted their time off first even thow it wasnt a vacation it was still time off. crying

I'll be going with my godsister, I wanted to go as N. Italy but I don't have the full costume, so I'll just wear my cat ears, tail and maids costume from last Halloween. I'm hoping to make some new friends since this'll be my first year going, blaugh

My friends are going and I'll be hitching a ride with them to Maryland, but I think I'm going to go on history adventures while they go to the convention. I've been to Otakon twice now so I'm cool with skipping it. I only really have an interest in the dealer's rooms, anyway, and I don't have the money to buy any really cool stuff... Plus, I have so many plushes and things from past conventions I bought because I was so excited, but when I got them home I just sort of tossed them in the closet. >w>;;
