Was Mot mad? A little. Hel often pulled the guilt trip card to make Mot fold, and the reaper was becoming wise to her game. In fact, he was getting sick of that game. Mot O'Boyle would not be played a fool.

The disgruntled grim left his bedroom and knocked on Hel's door. After a few more knocks he figured she'd left like she said she would. Fine, he thought, let her go sulk away her tantrum. The reaper huffed quietly and turned away from Hel's door. Maybe he should give himself time to cool off as well.

Mot left the reaper dorm's and descended down the steps. Nice fresh air to calm down.

Was Hel upset? A little bit. She was an emotional maelstrom underneath the grinning face, and true to that unpredictable nature, the upset feeling quickly turned into deviousness.

Her boilfriend was not only a prude but rather uptight as well…and Hel was going to do something about it. Now, if the ghoul was thinking logically…she would know better than to do what she was about to…but…Hel was not a thinker, obviously, she was a do-er. Thus the ghoul was perched ontop of the reaper dorm’s roof, crouched like many of the gargoyles that decorated the reaper dorms. She stared at the entrance intently, waiting to see if Mot would come out looking for her. She delighted when she caught sight of him…but…he didn’t seem to be looking…

Sadness.

Oh well.

That didn’t change what Hel was about to do. She had spent a lot of time training with those rocks like Jericho showed her…and she felt very confident in her ability to go flying with a light weight being…just like Mot. Well Mot, whether you liked it or not, you were about to go sky diving. Hel stood, giving a great stretch of her wings as she grinned almost feral-like. Time to do this.

The reaper did a swan dive right off the edge of the building, falling for a few seconds before her wings snapped out, and she reached out and grabbed onto the cowboil. Hooking her arms underneath his. Using this swooping momentum still, the ghoul then rapidly started to climb into the air, rocketing straight up.

The air wasn't helping all that much. He'd much rather see Hel and give her a talking to. But that also involved fighting. he knew she would be stubborn about this. The grim reaper sighed to himself.

At that very moment, he felt the wind get knocked out of him as he was struck from behind. Or was he? Mot grunted upon being grabbed, and thought that he was falling. But he was flying. The reaper gasped as he saw the ground get farther underneath his feet, a bit of panic welling up inside.

Who was abducting him, and why?

Mot realized he recognized the two toned arms wrapped under his own arms, and that panic started to mix uncomfortably with his boiling anger. "ARE YOU TRYING TO BE FUNNY, HEL!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!?" He squeaked un happily, trying to not to wriggle as much as he wanted to.

Up and up and up they went. Hel was not losing momentum as she climbed into the sky with the antsy cowboil. She trained long and hard for a moment like this, and she was pumped up on emotions and adrenaline. At his words, the ghoul laughed, keeping her gaze skyward.

My goodness! I have not heard you raise your voice like that for quite a while now!” She grinned cheekily. “I am not trying to be funny! I am giving you the experience of an existence, my non-winged cowboil.”

Hel was trying to kill him because he didn't call her bosom pretty. That's what this was, right? The reaper screamed as they got even higher. Mot had never been so high. He didn't like it one bit.

"NO THANKS! MY NON WINGED EXISTENCE IS FINE! I CHOOSE LIFE!" Mot was in no hurry to become an undead.

"I'M SORRY, OKAY!? YOUR BOSOM IS VERY LOVELY! TRULY!"

Woah…Mot was a screamer.

Well, you learn something new every day! Hel blinked as Mot seemed to yellow at the top of his lungs, and blinked, staring down at the cowboil briefly before looking back up. “Uh…I am not trying to end you!” She called back, but then puffed out her cheeks as they rose even higher. “And why can I only get you to say that when you feel threatened?” She frowned.

Lies! Wicked lies from the lips of a vixen who felt wronged!

Mot wasn't sure how to answer her question. Maybe it was the pressure of being so high up. "Couldn't we discuss this over a hot drink around the table and NOT 100 FEET IN THE AIR!?" Mot snapped back at Hel, his heartbeat racing uncomfortably. To die at the hands of someone he cared for. Was this how the tale of Mot would end?

Certainly.” Hel replied, as she climbed into the air still. “We can talk after we are done.” Done with what, was the question. Still she climbed, higher and higher and higher. Ridiculously high. Scary high.

It would be wonderful to note that the buildings now looked like the toy pieces on a Monopoly set and the beings moving about Amity might as well have been ants or specs. “Hey Mot?” Hel questioned, still gazing further skyward. “Do you trust me?”

Too high. Way too high. Mot was as scared as a child now. His lip trembled, his heart was drumming rapidly. He just wanted to close his eyes and wake from this nightmare.

Her question?

Mot's mind went blank for a moment. He felt hot and cold at the same time. "Trust you.." He trembled. "TRUST YOU? RIGHT NOW!? NO, NOT REALLY!" He yelled at the ghoul, his voice shaking angrily.

…: C

Not like Mot really had a choice right now.

…. C :

Hel seemed to be slowing down in her climb, and her wings flapped harder as she focused more on hovering with Mot in her arms. There was something exhilarating about this moment right now. She was far, far up in the sky, and it was just Mot and her…and in a terribly twisted way, Mot was relying on her right now, whether he wanted to admit it or not. But also…she felt like this was a special moment. She had wanted to do this with him for a long time as well, because it was special to her, and sharing was caring, right?

As Hel hovered, she nuzzled the side of the grim reaper’s head briefly. “I would not let anything happen to you, I promise.” She murmured, before grinning widely and pressed her cheek against his. They both started to turn in the sky now, as the beating of Hel’s wings slowed. Now, instead of pointing up towards the sky…they were now pointing down at the ground.

It was quiet now, as Hel tucked her wings against her body, and for a moment, everything seemed to slow down as they just hung in the air.

Hey Motty. We are sky diving.”

They started to fall then.

While Mot was terrified and angry, the soft warm touch of Hel's cheek to his own was tempting him to feel good. She was so warm, while the altitude and wind had made him chilly.
Like Hel, he liked how alone together they were so high up. Almost. He was still terrified.

Still, she promised.

But then...

"W-what--" The sudden and rapid fall put a lump in Mot's throat, and a horrible painful feeling well up from his gut to his lungs. They were plummeting! As a non-winged thing, this was not something Mot was used to.

"EEEYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA----!!!!!!"
PostPosted: Fri Mar 02, 2012 5:56 pm

Oh goodness, did that boil have a set of lungs on him. Hel was surprised! The ghoul couldn’t help but laugh loudly as they plummeted back to the ground, her stomach riling with moths and that unsettling but exciting of the moths then flying away with her stomach. “Stretch your arms out, Mot!” The ghoul cried as they fell, enjoying the way the win whipped her hair back, and the whistling of the air and the rustling of cloth.

Enjoy the moment while it lasts! There is no other feeling like this, I love it!”

Somewhere between Mot's screaming he heard Hel talking nonsense to him. "NO!" He refused to stretch his arms, gripping the ghoul's arms so that he wouldn't break free.

Well of course Hel loved falling. She had wings to soar. Mot longed to have his boots once again planted on solid ground.

"WELL I DON'T!
I DON'T LOVE IT!
I'M SCARED!"

He called back, shutting his eyes. He couldn't take it anymore! He wanted to wake up. Maybe if he didn't see it, it wasn't really happening.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 02, 2012 6:18 pm

Hel would have loved how Mot clung tightly to her…if…you know…they weren’t falling and Mot was supposed to be enjoying it. “There is nothing to be scared of, Mot!” Hel cried back, his words tugging at her heart strings a bit. This was supposed to be…you know…fun and exciting.

I am not going to let anything happen to you, I promise!” She repeated, glancing at his face. “If you are going to close your eyes, just focus on what is around us and the feeling of the air, not what you are feeling on the inside!” The ground was rapidly approaching, and they only had a few more moments before Hel would need to snap her wings open…

How could he not be scared? Every inch of Mot's mind was concentrated on being afraid. Very little seemed to understand that Hel was trying to share something with him. Something that meant something to her. In his mind, he was certain she was trying to torture him for ignoring her advances.

Eyes still closed, he took what Hel said for a moment. Feel the air? How could he not. Mot just couldn't understand why this was supposed to be good, therefore, stuck with his earlier assumption that Hel was definitely out to punish him.

He let his fear take over.

"I WANT MY FEET ON THE GROUND, NOW!" He yelled stubbornly. He was honestly terrified.
