xxxxxAs an extremely shy lioness, it was strange for Faatina to be out and about. It was bizarre for her to be wandering past the Bahari'mtoto's territory and into land unknown. However, she'd felt compelled to do so. It wasn't like some strange, nagging force had called her to a far-off land - no, it wasn't something ridiculous like that. The female had felt lately that she was missing out, not seeing beyond her little homeland. Although she adored the Bahari and the sea with all she had, Faatina wanted to expose herself to the outside world, if only briefly. So far she'd only been traveling for a few days, but already she found herself missing her pride with all of her heart. Abandoning all of her family and the entirety of her homeland was certainly taking a toll on her, and she was a tad downtrodden.
xxxxxSpotting another lion, Faatina quickly ducked behind a large bush. Due to her shy nature, she didn't much wish to come across anyone who may want to speak to her - she just wanted to explore! It also didn't help that she was afraid of rogues - she'd heard tales of some of them being vicious creatures, and wasn't too keen on meeting one of them whilst on her own. It never occurred to her that maybe she'd walked right onto the borderlands of another pride; she didn't really think there were that many of them out there. Being within a pride made one sort of egocentric, believing that their pride was all that existed within the world. This journey was quickly teaching Faatina otherwise.
