A local crowd had shown up outside the overseas 'headquarters' of WWE:E, their main home from home, located in New York City. The first 5,000 people to get through the door were guaranteed a free, unreserved seat at a WWE:E show. For any wrestling fan, this was a lifetime opportunity, and so even two hours before the doors closed to full capacity, there was still a line going all the way down the street.
Taking their snacks and beverages - cut down at half price for tonight only - the ring was covered with a large black sheet and the only logos about the place was the traditional green and purple 'WWE:E', with the multi-coloured flashing logo on the titantron. With the noise becoming louder and louder, the anticipation become almost too much to bear for some, the lights shut off and a large cheer shot out around the arena.
The lights flickered, and some fans realised that the ring was now uncovered, although they couldn't work out the markings in the center and outside of the squared circle.
A voice boomed around the arena,
"Ladies and Gentlemen, all of the staff here at WWE:Evolution are honoured to have you here tonight. We ask that keep the noise to a maximum, leave as much trash as you want when you leave, and to have a good time. Those in attendance are lucky enough to be part of a new show, and we would like to make it a grand entrance; for any one interested, yes, this will be televised. We go on air in five seconds, so please .. Make some noise!"
Although it was a generic voice that lifted the crowd, it did the job, as the fans went wild, standing to their feet as the lights flickered back to life, a man standing in the center of a ring marked with the letters 'IWA' around it. The fans cheered even louder as they noticed that the man in the ring was none other than Nuke Fusion, the founder and still current owner of the company, who had been on a seemingly indefinite hiatus. Standing there with a microphone in hand, he wore a black tuxedo with a red cravat; very fitting for an English gentlemen, one might say.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Nukes and Nukettes .. All you Fusion Fanatics out there!"
'Why not start with a cheap pop?' was the thought running through Nuke's mind, as he threw out an older line, getting some more support from the crowd.
"Welcome to International Wrestling Association, the third show brought to you by the folks working globally for WWE:Evolution. Let's break it down for you, without getting too technical, because we all know that legal teams like to do that .. this is a show that I - myself - will be managing, and it is for the most part a developmental show. Any upcoming superstar from around the world can come and take part at one of our free house shows, which will air live every Tuesday night. Right now we have millions of people watching around the world from their televisions, phones, computers, tablets .. you name it, we're streaming it live to them at no cost at all. This show is about exposure for the guys on this show, and so far we have a bunch of guys at the back there, and I'm just wondering who's going to take their chances tonight."
Taking a bottle of water from a stage hand to the side, Nuke paced the ring, continuing to address the card.
"I'll tell you now, I have no idea who might come out of the back there. It might be a complete nobody looking to make a name for himself, it might be some one on one of our two main shows, looking to give himself some extra ring time. Hell, it might even be one of our main eventers; who would say no to seeing some one like Mike Landry or Chrono Clepsydra walking through those curtains?"
The crowd gave a loud cheer for both men, even if Chrono was despised usually; the thought that a free show like this had the possibility of either of those men shot shivers down the spines of many fans.
"Okay, well let's see who we have out here tonight, and then we'll throw in some matches. I say this to every one at the back there; feel free to come out on the microphone and do your own thing, get going with your own open invite to a match, or even just ask me to book you some where.
Now, let's let the bombs drop and get this show going .."
- Feel free to be creative and come out or promo in your own thread -
