 Juan MachadoThe Headstrong JuniorWith all his stuff in hand, Juan entered the dorm in which he was assigned to "Hmm... This place looks cozy... I hope it'll protect me from the cold, which I hate... I miss the tropical weather..." he wondered who his roommate was. He hoped it'd be fun, and not the damn Alfred. He took his stuff over to his room, it looked a bit bland, but it was nothing a bit of decorating would do... Hmm.... Better leave that to his dormmates "What a day... I could use a cigar... Too bad they're not legal here... Pfft... I suppose cigarettes will do..." Not wanting to stink up the dorm, he headed outside and grabbed a cigarette from his box, lit it up and inhaled it and enjoyed the rich taste of tobacco.{Translations:}(Out of Havana: yay, first post ^^)Cuban Republic

Naruru frowned more than usuall as she saw Cuba on her way to the room. As she walked by him,She quickly snatched the cig out of his mouth, and threw it into a near by trash can. "S-Smokeing is bad f-for your health,and it is smelly..." Naruru kept walking to the room. GOODDD!!! Why did I just do datt!?!!?? If he had to guess, this girl was his room mate. She didn't even put it out, it could cause a fire. He took it out of the trash, dropped it on the floor and stomped on it. She didn't look like she was interested in talking to him. How's he supposed to get to know his knew dormmate? He sighs "S-Sorry about that... Guess I'll be in my room..." One was of her friend, Channel, and one of Austria. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ Florida did not simply enter a room. He made an entrance! The cheerful state was all smiles and sunshine as the door nearly flew open as he paraded inside. "Hola~! I have arrived!" he announced to no one in particular with arms wide open almost as if in anticipation of cheers or hugs while his bags of groceries hung limply in his hands.
... No one was in the common room at all. It was a little disappointing, but Rutilio didn't linger on it too long because he distinctly picked up a very familiar scent. Cigars? No, not just any cigars. Those were high quality Cuban cigars! Florida gasped as his coral reef blue eyes shimmered with absolute joy. How could he ever mistake that smell?
"CUBA~!" he nearly man squealed with absolute delight. He dropped his groceries without hesitation and practically frolicked to poor Juan's room and all but pounced the nation on sight much like how he used to as a little boy. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ <>

Oh well, at least this room has got an air conditioner, not like home..." Just as he was going to have another smoke break, someone pounced him from behind "Ah! Maldito! I'll show you what happens when-" It wasn't util he saw who it was that he ceased his attack "Florida? Is that you? Ay, mang!" he instantly gave him a bear hug "Long time no see! ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ Florida only chuckled at the near punch as he hugged Cuba back cheerfully. The state was almost engulfed into the hug but that didn't bother him one bit. It had been too long since they had seen each other! Since America tried to ban him from playing with the other former Spanish colony even getting near enough to wave "hello" at Cuba had become a challenge. It was his good fortune they were roommates so Alfred couldn't do anything to stop Rutilio now~!
"I have missed you very much!" Florida said happily as he pulled back just enough to get a good look at his old friend. "You haven't changed one bit. The same brand of cigars, too? Maria would scold you for smoking inside~!" Although Rutilio only snickered at the thought. It was truly awesome that he was also his roommate, with him, school will be tons of fun, and they'd get into all kinds of trouble "I missed you too, Ruti. Things have been quiet since you've been gone." A nickname he knew the state hated, but still liked calling him that nonetheless. He lit up his cigar, took a quick exhale and blew out the smoke through an open window "I could say the same about you. And, of course. Luz Maria? Ah, hermana's got to learn a Cuban without tobacco isn't a Cuban at all. Your cousin's just a worrywart., especially after she quit smoking. it's too bad, these things have such a rich taste. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀ Florida's smile grew as Cuba ruffled his hair although he did wrinkle his nose a bit at being called Ruti. Just like old times, huh? Later he might complain about the old nickname, but for the moment Rutilio was just happy to be together again. He almost felt a little sad when Juan brought up how he'd been taken from them after being conquered and "bought" by America, but didn't allow himself to linger on those thoughts. The point was that they could hang out together again now.
"Si, I brought lots of oranges with me!" Florida said happily as he took a step back. "I made sure to pack a whole crate with me. I don't trust them to have good oranges here." Rutilio wrinkled his nose at the thought of eating produce that wasn't perfectly ripened in his own sunny groves and orchards. Juan MachadoThe Headstrong JuniorAt first, he thought his school life was going to be boring, but knowing the Floridian was here, and a couple of his siblings attended school, things were going to be great "Hah, well I don't think they can grow oranges here. it's chilly, not like my home, where's it's always hot." Of course, there was nothing wrong with escaping the heat every once in a while. he can't wait to try one of his sweet oranges "Man, I could really use a snack. haven't eaten anything since I left the airport. The food they were selling was very expensive. Five dollars American for a pizza? What the hell?!" he wasn't one of those rich countires. Instead he just puffed his chest out proudly. "Do not worry! I will feed you," he announced as he hurried out to some of his oranges for Cuba to munch on and paused when he noticed a girl in their room. He didn't remember reading whether or not these were coed dorms... The state stared at the girl and studied her a moment before glancing back over his shoulder at his nation friend.
