Night's tail flicked as he sat in Vaith's room. How he got here was a long deep complicated story (not really, he slunk in when Vaith came back after the assembly). Why he did that though was a mystery. Perhaps cause he was such a carefree cat that he didn't mind invading personal space in accordance to getting closer to Vaith? He liked the boil from the arcade and they seemed to have mutual friends sooooo best way to get to someone was to stalk them.

Also how he joined Vaith's team for the four horsemen trials was a mystery as well. He kinda of was like a stray, worming his way in and then...wouldn't leave. Though for the rest of the members it could be equally beneficial or well...unlucky considering he was a black cat. He hoped for the first of the two.

His ears flicked again as he was having a intense stare down with Vaith's cat minipet though. Vaith had told him that the two ghouls would be on their way to plot idea's for the trials and well...He didn't want to miss a chance to meet more people. Especially if they liked cats.

Especially especially, seeing as one was a ghost like himself (yay more ghost friends?) and the other seemed to be a Reaper like Vaith. After he had made his dominance clear to the minipet, he swiveled his head, ears flicking back and forth before smiling at the ghoul's who came in.

"I think I have made my point clear to your minipet Vaith....We have come to a mutually understanding that I will be the top cat in here for awhile...." He rocked back and forth in his sitting position on Vaith's floor looking at the boil reaper. What Night? Just what....

There was a suspiciously girl-shaped lump under the covers on Vaith's bed. It was motionless when Night made his entrance, and remained so as the boil got his stare on with the resident cat. It wasn't until voices were raised and greetings (of a sort) were exchanged that the lady lump began to stir. A slender white hand slid out from beneath the edge of the blanket, near the foot of the bed where Night was sitting. A second hand followed, gripping the edge of the mattress slightly as the bed-lurker pulled herself out from under the covers.

Mai blinked sleepily, she was still laying on her stomach, her chin now resting on the edge of the bed with her arms hanging limply to the floor. Her gaze went immediately to Vaith to whom she gave a warm smile. She then noticed the boil sitting not two feet away, his back to her. Ooohh, company. The ghost propped herself up on her elbows, which afforded the cat she was sleeping on top of the space it needed to escape her bosom. With heroic squirming effort, the white feline scrabbled its way to freedom and hopped several feet away where it began to furiously groom itself. It stopped every few seconds to shoot pointed glares at its owner.

Mai didn't seem to take notice of the daring escape, and instead reached out to tap gently on Night's shoulder. "Hello," she said, her tone sleepy but friendly.

Lacie fretted outside in the hallway. This was the third hallway that she had passed, having come to dead ends the first two times. "A-Ah, where am I now?" She fumbled with a map that Vaith had wrote up for her when she asked where his room was. The last time, she had accidentily held it upside down. But it was the right side up this time, surely!

She walked past Vaith's room.. Meanwhile, something rather small and fluffy jumped at her feet, hanging onto her by one of her many ribbons. It jumped frantically, scurrying to bring her back in the direction that she had just come from. "Oh?" She picked up the small minipet, letting it guide her to her destination. She arrived in the open doorway to Vaith's room, a questioning look upon her face. "Am I in the right place.."

She trailed off at the sight of the two other people in Vaith's room, vageuly recognizing Mai from the last time that they had met. "Am I interrupting something?" Her slightly worried expression revealed her insecurity at being here.

Meanwhile, the little minipeet looked startled at the sight of the cat and other ghouls, jumping into her pocket for a safe haven.

There was one other thing that Lacie noticed in her nervousness.. There were alot of cats there.

"This is all the furniture you're gonna get." Vaith conversed with Night as they waited for latecomers to come in, although there had been no set sound. As the lump moved in his bed, Vaith partially wondered how said-lump made it to his room and before before he did. He should have walked into his room before her but Mai's actions and thoughts were never something Vaith could somehow align properly.

"Hey Lacie! You're not interrupting-- Come on in for the group meeting. You can take out your treat mini, just make sure Night doesn't eat it." Vaith tried an attempt to be cheerful, gesturing for Lacie to come in. Vaith's stray brushed it's tail against Aurian's legs, curling around the ghoul's warmth with a obviously favorable response to her crooning.

Vaith opened the small fridge, tucked under his bed, to pass around drinks as Aurian mentioned she had spookies. He settled on the edge of the bed, near Mai, pushing part of the blanket to the side. The bed leaned a little bit, under both of their weights. A cold drink pressed against Mai's cheek, his knuckles brushing against her shoulder. "I don't mind, Aurian, a lost bet's a bet. Although, if you wanted to sleep in this room too, I'd be game for that." Vaith gopened his hands with a flourish, as if indicating his bed was open. To all ghouls, in a purely restful capacity, of course.

"Meanwhile, introductions. None for me needed, since you guys all know who I am. Pass me a spookie, I woke up too late, to eat during the assembly." He gestured, the cookies handed around.

Night looked over at the newcomers before smiling. More ghouls! Exciting.

"Welcome, nice to meet you Aurian and..." He looked over to the smaller of the girl's before scooting over and patting the seat nearest to him. "Lacie?" His tail flicked at the mention of eating the minipet before grinning. "No thank you! Those aren't the kinda of treats I like, thanks though." His ears adjusted as the creepy stray contented itself with Aurian before he looked at the small bag.

"May I?" He asked politely as she set them down for all to have before taking one and nibbling on it, the drink was set between his crossed legs as he happily ate. He didn't even snicker at the comment of the bed being open to ghouls only since well...there was no way he'd want to suggest crawling in there with Vaith anyways. "Since Vaith is the only one I know." He turned green eyes to Aurian and then Lacie. "I'm Nightengale XIII, er Black ghost cat. Second Year....I kinda of followed Vaith in here cause it looked fun." He grinned again, gleefully happy to meet new people.

"Nice to meet you both!" Aurian said as she stooped to pet the stray, scritching behind his ears. After a moment, she straightened back up. She was here to work with people, after all, not Vaith's minipets. When Night introduced himself, Aurian bit back an urge to see if he also liked being scritched behind the ears. She did, however, give some extra information on herself in return. "I'm still a first year. I'm a Reaper, and a Shadow Person." For a moment, it seemed like her eyes glowed brighter in the room.

For Night and Lacie, Aurian explained, "Vaith and Mai and I have worked together before. We did the haunted house excursion with some second-years, when, well, Mai and I are still firsties, but when Vaith was also a first-year."

She beamed at the new additions to their group. Working with Junko and Seiji had been fun, but so was meeting new people. Considering that Aurian hadn't been very social during her schooling so far, it was always nice to work with others - an easy way to make new friends, she thought. Even if they clearly did need some mothering. She passed the spookies over to Vaith, making a mental note to drop by more often with food for the poor boil. Shrugging out of her jacket, she held it out to Mai.

"You're cold?" she asked the ghostly ghoul, noting the shivers and pressing close to Vaith. "You can borrow this, I'm fine."

The leather would hold Aurian's warmth for some time (not to mention the mixed scent of Aurian's faint perfume and something a little more... shadowy [if that could be said to have a smell] ). And despite leaving Aurian clad in a dress made from a corset and a LOT of belts, she was still wearing more than Mai usually did.

"I have heard of the sleep-overs," Aurian said, faintly dubious. "I didn't think they mixed ghouls and boils, though... Was I wrong?" Mai and Vaith didn't seem to see a problem with it. Maybe the Reaper ghouls with dorms close by Aurian's were mistaken.

In any case, they had more pressing concerns right now. "After this Trial thing," she told Mai. They'd all deserve a good sleep after that.
