 Xing Xing looked around the room a confused expression on his face, 'How did I get here again?' He thought to himself as he looked down at the drink he was holding in his hand, 'I don't even know anyone here...' He wasn't sure how to get himself out of this mess, but somehow he just had to, he didn't like being in situations like this one. The drinks he had had so far were only making things worse, his inability to make decisions was hampered somewhat by the apple-tine he was currently drinking, and his thoughts were running away him. Oh wow that girl over there was really pretty...

 Lilie was sitting at a table drinking.She was all ready feeling the effects of the drink taking over.She was looking around at all the other ponies there.She felt so lonely since most of them had dance partners or partners for the night in some cases.Her eyes soon stopped on a good looking male who was looking at her.He was hot so she didnt mind him looking at her,

He bit lightly at his bottom lip, unsure if he should go talk to her. What if she wasn't interested? What if she didn't like him? 'Tsk, what if? What if she likes you Xing, what if going over there gives you someone to talk to for?' He mentally scolded himself. Taking a deep breath he pushed himself up right and braced himself, before walking over to. 'Oh yeah those drinks have defiantly gone to my head.' He looked up to find he was standing right in front of the pretty mare. "Hi, my name's Xing Xing."

Lilie looked up at the male when he walked over but smiled brightly when he introduced him self.She blushed a bit and took anther drink of her drink before speaking."Hi Xing Xing, I'm Lilie it is lovely to meet you."She got up and put her drink down on the table."Want to dance cutie?"She held out her hand to him with that smile still on her face.

He smiled at her brightly, "It's nice to meet you Miss Lilie, that's a really lovely." He gently laid his hand in her own, "I would love to dance." Oh yeah the drinks had really gone to his head! 'What?!?' He screamed in his head, 'You can never even decide what you to play! How have you made this leap? Because how ever you did it, you need to do it more often!' He raged in his head all the while a smile stayed on his lips, she was really pretty...

Lilie giggled as he laid his hand on hers.She gladly took it with a smile on her lips."Then lead the way my dear."She was normally so shy.For he to talk to stranger and not shy away a bit ment the drink had gotten to her good.

His smile grew as he lead her out on to the dance floor, "I don't normally do things like this, so if you want to lead feel free to do so." He said as they came to the middle of the dance floor. He gently placed one hand on her waist the other still holding onto her own. He lazily started to sway to the beat of the music, never taking his eyes off the pretty mare he was holding onto. "I think I like this song," he murmured softly.

Lilie just giggled a tiny bit and let him lead the best that he could.She didnt mind if they stumbled every now and then.She was having fun and thats all that mattered to her."So tell me about your self....Where are you from?"She moved in a bit closer to him now so she could hear him better and he could hear her better.

He blinked in confusion for a moment, where was he from? "Umm, White Pine," he said uncertainly, not many had heard of it, it was only a small mining village after all, you could literally toss a stone at one end of the village and it would exit on the other. "And what about you? Where are you from?" He asked softly his movements stilling for a moment before he picked them back up. It wasn't everyday that he got to dance with a pretty girl, he wasn't about to pass this up.

Lilie Smiled as she heard where he was from."Well I myself is from Dorlaew...i live in the middle of the busy town."As they danced she slowly put her head on his shoulder.She was starting to really like this guy since he was really hot and nice.

He looked down at the head resting on his shoulder, a small smile tugging at his lips. He couldn't help some how he felt drawn to this girl, she was sweet and kind, and didn't mind the fact that he was more then a little clumsy. It was nice to not have to worry about if someone was going to get mad at him because he couldn't make up his mind. He gently laid his cheek on her head completely at ease with himself and her.
