The park had witnessed several festivities and events as of late, and with so many Senshi, both of the White Moon Court and the Dark Mirror Court, suffering from the strange space flu epidemic that touched down a short while ago, it was an opportunity that the Negaverse could not pass up. There were still others in the park, those either spared from the strange epidemic going around, or those not sick enough to be condemned to bed rest (or just too stubborn to stay down).Sailor Tsui was one of those, and despite the growing aches and pain throughout her body, she remained vigilant on her patrol. In truth, she was sick as a dog, and her recent endeavors probably didn't help at all, but that only made her strive to work harder. She was a proud Senshi of the White Moon Court, she told herself, shifting from one branch to another sturdier one, as she kept her gaze on the park around her for any Youma, a lieutenant, or, heavens forbid, another members of the Dark Mirror Court. That was an experience that she would never forget, and, admittedly so, wasn't quite ready for again. 'Things aren't as black and white in this world... it'd be much easier if it was,' Tsui thought to herself, her eyes catching sight of a young couple that were snuggling just a few feet away and smiling in envy. It'd be nice to have someone to snuggle with and make this damned cold go away... she chased the thoughts away, climbing higher into the tree to get a better look around and being very careful not to slip. After all, she was the Senshi of Tigers, not Leopards... there was a fine line of difference between the two. 'Leopards are cool, but tigers are better anyway.'She now had a good panoramic view of the park, seeing a few kids playing in the distance on the playgrounds with their mothers' chatting away on a bench, and to the left were a few guys, playing soccer. How lucky of all of them that they weren't sick... There was no stopping it, and Tsui gave a mighty sneeze, loosing her grip for just a moment but catching herself before she fell too far. She hugged the tree, hoping and praying that no one saw or heard her, and she mumbled softly to herself. "I hope nothing exciting happens tonight... I'll like sneeze the poor Youma to death at this rate."

Sickness was going crazy throughout the city, but Marybeth figured she must have one top notch immune system. She figured she should use this fact to collect a lot of energy for Painite, while everyone who had the energy was busy being sick. Out she went, going from normal Marybeth and switching back to Lieutenant Mesolite once more, ready to paperclip whoever she needed to in order to drain some energy.
The park was quite often filled with a large number of people, even this late at night. She moved slowly, glancing around, then nearly jumped when she heard a very loud sneeze. Oh. Well, there was some sort of energy signature around here too…coming from where the sneeze had been. It was different, different than that of a negaverse agent, and different than Sailor Remarque’s had been…it was, rather disgusting. Like some sort of heavy syrup. Could this be a senshi nearby? Well, that would make tonight great…draining the energy of a senshi. Yes indeed.
She moved slowly, nearing the tree, then glanced up. “Should I go and get you a tissue, dear? You sound dreadful.”

Tsui had a sick feeling in her gut that she had made, yet, another mistake, but she didn't take the time to remorse this fact. Not when she sensed something dark, sinister approaching, and it wasn't just the onset of another sneeze. And her suspicions were confirmed when she heard a voice call out and directly to her, letting her know that her cover was blown. “Should I go and get you a tissue, dear? You sound dreadful.” The Senshi of Tigers looked at the approaching figure through the branches and a part of her was relieved. It didn't appear to be a Dark Mirror Senshi, but neither was it a Youma. Instead, both her aura and her physical appearance seemed to indicate that it was a Negaverse lieutenant. Someone she had never seen before, but well aware that this woman was an enemy. And she could fight definitive enemies... 'Well, my cover's blown anyway and she can probably sense me, so I suppose having a grand entrance wouldn't hurt... Tsui thought to herself, observing her foe for a little bit longer and for once, trying to measure up her combatant. If there was one thing she learned from Remarque, it was to at least get an idea of what your enemy was capable of. 'No weapons... well, unless she has a sword or something big hiding in those pants, then they're probably small...'She gave a nod, and revealed herself. By this time, her ankle had recovered from the assault and she came crashing down, not calling upon her Tiger Fist Strike yet as that would have DEFINITELY given her away and gave her a chance to dodge. However, it seemed that the sneeze from earlier had once again gotten the better of her, and the rush of energy formed in her arms, and she came crashing down, the white, tiger-clawed shape energy obstructing her view of the opponent. She cursed aloud, knowing that she had once again messed up. "Crap, crap, CRAP!"

Whatever Mesolite had been expecting, A senshi falling from a tree along with a rather large burst of…of what she could only assume to be the senshi’s attack was not it. Fortunately, the attack missed by a very wide margin, almost as if it had been fired off by complete accident. “Well, I’m going to go off on a limb here and assume that you’re a real senshi, am I correct? You’re not a Dark Mirror senshi or anything like that, so I suppose, I should be excited to meet you. You’re the first ‘real’ senshi that I’ve had the…uh, ‘honor’ to run into.
She took a few steps away from the girl, grey eyes narrowed just slightly. Whatever that attack was, it looked…rather powerful…and if the senshi had another blast like that in her, well. Paperclips wouldn’t really be able to stop such an attack. Not by a long shot. “So, Miss Senshi…would you be so kind as to give me your name, perhaps? Or should I just…” She looked the girl over and shrugged. “Refer to you as Little Miss Monochrome?”

'Great! Just great! I wasted energy, a move, AND made myself look like a flippin' fool in front of a Negaverse Lieutenant!' Sailor Tsui thought to herself, regaining her balance and standing on guard before her, trying to hide the feel of humiliation within her though she was certain she had failed. 'Which means I'm down to one Tiger Fist Strike, so I better make it count...'
She remained quiet as the Lieutenant addressed her, the mocking tone in her voice only confirming that she had made a pretty big mistake. But, she wouldn't let it get her down, and she displayed this manner by refusing to allow her mocking nickname to get her down.
"The name is Sailor Tsui, proud Senshi of Tigers," Tsui said, standing her ground, despite her mess up. "And it's an honor to meet you too, being the first Negaversian I've come across. First time for everything, and all that jazz."
She stood ready for a fight, not once noticing Mesolite's hesitation and thinking only of protecting the people that lingered around in the park. She had no idea what she was doing here, but she'd be damned if she allowed anyone harmed by a Negaverse lieutenant, not on her watch!

Sailor Tsui, huh. Mesolite nodded, giving a very over dramatic bow and grinning. “Lieutenant Mesolite at your service. “ For all of the insults that she had thrown at the other girl, she had to admit, the monochrome suited her. Some people were just made not to have color. “I’m not sure I’d call myself a ‘Negaversian’, though. I don’t think that terminology is really what we call ourselves, but, hey. I could be wrong.
She fiddled with the makeshift bracelet that she had made from her paperclips and leaned against the tree. “So, what brings you to this park? Come to steal some energy too? Or just come to throw energy tigers at everyone and everything you think is against you. Are you one of those paranoid types?”
Mesolite grinned, the expression rather mocking. “Now, you want to fight, or chit chat. Honestly, I’d like to learn all about you before I start kicking your face in. It’s always good. Know thy enemy, and all.” Well, maybe she wouldn't kick the girl's face in. She had a very pretty face.

Never the type that liked to be mocked, either subtly or openly, Tsui curled her fists and let her annoyance be seen. She had no reason to hide her true emotions, though it might have shown her inexperience, being true to herself and to others was more of Tsui's style. So, yes, she was angered by Mesolite's obvious mocking tone, but she didn't strike out yet. She spat, "I'm not paranoid... Just prepared for trouble that might be lurking around these parts, that's all, Mesolite." She had no idea what was really on Mesolite's mind, but the fact that she didn't immediately strike out at her (despite her initial strike, as accidental as it might have been) was peculiar to Tsui. This was her first Negaverse lieutenant she had run into, but she was informed of them as their enemy, yet, she didn't initiate the fight. Peculiar... did this one just not get the memo that they were enemies? When asked if she wanted to fight or chat, Tsui gave an honest answer. "I wouldn't mind talking, if that meant that you'd not steal any of these park goers' energy. Never spoke with one of you before, so it'd be an interesting conversation, right?" Regardless, she stood ready, just in case she had something up, or on, her sleeves. 'Can't waste a shot... can't let my guard down either.'Perhaps she WAS paranoid, but it never hurt to be too cautious, Tsui reminded herself.

Mesolite laughed, still lounging against the tree, seeming to not have a care in the world. “Then we can have a nice friendly little chat with one another, since you’ve informed me and I’ve informed you that we are in fact, the first of each of our kinds to meet. So. I’m going to take that to mean you’re rather new at being a senshi, and you can take it as I’m rather new at being a member of the Negaverse. Then we can both nod, and both laugh at how silly we’re being.”
The girl continued fiddling with her paperclips, unhinging one of them and allowing them to fall into their nice, neat, rainbow colored chain once more, twirling it around like a small rope. “What kind of a tiger are you supposed to be the senshi of, anyway. Aren’t tigers supposed to be much more orange than you are? Or are you supposed to be one of the rare, wonderful white tigers, you know. Like the ones they use in the magic shows…that end up ripping their trainers faces off.” The lieutenant laughed then stood up straight.
“So, do you have any questions for me, or should we just get to the fist flying and yelling insults at each other. Or are you just going to sneeze another tiger at me and hope it works this time?”

Tsui's amusement with this Negaverse lieutenant was running thin, and it was painfully obvious by the way she crossed her arms over her chest and her brows squinted. If it was Mesolite's intention to shake her cage, then she was doing a damn good job of it. Tsui gave a sneer, before thinking up of a decent comeback to her obvious taunting. "Apparently, I need to earn my stripes, and what better way of doing that than to leave my enemy mauled? A stripe for every scratch I leave on mindless youma and their trainers?" She held out a hand and curled her fist, almost into a upturned claw motion, and the smallest flicker of white aura could be seen as she fought down a sneeze. No, she certainly didn't want to waste her energy on a second attempt. Yet. "So, what can you do with those dinky looking paperclips? Do all Negaverse lieutenants start off with something so pathetic or are you the only one given that honor?"

Mesolite rolled her eyes at the girl’s talking about earning her stripes. “It’s not the stripes, dearie. It’s the color. I like orange tigers, not white ones. You completely missed my insult.” She raised a brow and gently stroked her paperclip chain, grinning. “I don’t think they’re dinky at all. No, not even one little bit. They’re very useful. Just think, they can be a bracelet, necklace, they can poke things, they can get into those little holes in electronics and push the reset button…”
She gave another grin, then laughed. “Paperclips are dead useful. Might not do much damage to someone, but I’m sure as I grow, they’ll grow. Not to worry, Madame Tigress.”
Mesolite finally pushed away from the tree, walking close to Tsui. “Besides, look how wonderfully colorful they are. I do so enjoy things that have a lot of colors in them.” She held the paperclips up in front of the senshi’s face, then flicked them, aiming to smack her cheek. Not effective of course, but it would start the fighting off on the right foot.

Tsui was rather looking forward to having a simple conversation with the Negaverse lieutenant. After all, it was her first encounter with them and she was surprisingly civil, if not a little insulting, for someone who had accidentally charged an attack at her upon the first few seconds of their encounter. Tsui was even willing to roll with the punches and tolerate the verbal insults being thrown at her. It'd give her a reason to come up with some witty ones of her own, maybe learn a few tricks of her own. She even had the perfect come back for when she insulted the color of her fuku and compared her to a tiger. But then, she threw a paper clip at her face. She had rattled the tiger's cage, and Tsui was not going to allow THAT to go unpunished. White aura immediately began to rise in her hands and arms, letting Mesolite know that she was just about ready to throw another tiger in her general direction, and this time, she was NOT going to miss. "You like color, huh? Well, sure hope you like the color red... because I'll be wearing your blood real, real soon." Tsui said with a low growl, and she ran straight at her, fists curled and wanting to get close enough before either decking her in the face or unleashing her attack.

Mesolite laughed, and for once the sound seemed genuine, full of mirth and glee. “That’s more like it, Tiger Lady. Come at me with everything you’ve got. Let’s make this meeting worthwhile!” The negaverse girl took a step backwards, grinning. This was all a game, a big, fun amusing game. Testing the senshi’s strengths, her weaknesses…though that was going to be difficult given the fact she seemed to be ill…or something. Perhaps it was just allergies causing their bit of annoyance. Who knew.
She held her paper clips in front of her, swinging them causing them to blur into a circle of color. “Give me your best shot. Really let’s make it fun! Sure, senshi weren’t supposed to be playthings…but, why would you waste a perfectly good time for boring conversation.
A true actress knew that actions often held more of a persons personality then normal words did anyway.

Tsui had known that one of her weaknesses was her short temper, and she had a feeling that she was going to pay for it sooner or later. Her valiant charge was almost stopped by the blurring speed of those colorful paperclips, and though they were only paperclips, she had a feeling that there was more to it than she'd think possible. There was no way that anyone would attack her with paperclips if she didn't have something hidden within them. This didn't stop her charge completely, however, and Tsui accepted her challenge. Not wanting to see if the spinning paper clips were going to be stronger than she'd imagine, she resorted to her skills in gymnastics, falling into a tumble and going straight for her legs to knock her down. After the insults this Mesolite threw her way, it would have been great to see her on her butt and at her mercy, Tsui thought with the grin. "Wish granted, Rainbow!"
