Bio: Ruby was born in Fuchsia City but her parents moved after the Safari Zone's popularity took off. They didn't want they're daughter to get the idea of leaving for a pokemon journey. Ruby is an only child which means her parents are always extra protective over her. As she turned five, Ruby began to explore her new home in Celadon City. She found herself spending a lot of time at the Celadon Gym with Erika and all of her grass pokemon. At that moment, Ruby's parents knew all hope was lost.
For Ruby's eleventh birthday her parents handed her a very nicely decorated present. Ruby peeled off the ribbon and opened the top of the box to have a little Vulpix jump out at her. The little pokemon had only one little white tail which indicated it was only a newborn. Ruby looked up at her parents with tears in her eyes, this was the best present she had ever gotten from anyone.
A few years later, Ruby was finally allowed to travel outside the city borders as long as Vulpix was at her side. As she made her way out of the city she found herself face to face with a Charmander. The pokemon seemed to challenge her to see what she would do. Vulpix quickly jumped in front of her trainer to protect her. After a battle with flames flying everywhere the Charmander was tired, Ruby saw opportunity in this. She threw a pokeball and had obtained her second pokemon.
Ruby showed her parents her big accomplishment and then proceeded to beg them to let her go out on a journey. They continuously said no until her twenty first birthday. Her present was them finally letting go of they're little girl and allowing her to become a pokemon master. Ruby wants to prove to her parents that she can do this. She wants to challenge all the gym leaders and compete in the pokemon league.
