Personality: Louis is a very kind, but slightly strange person. He has many verbal tics, such as making up his own words, or speaking in an archaic manner. He values friendship and love, and really despises people who manipulate others. Louis has a fairly happy demeanor most of the time, it isn't very easy to make him sad or depressed.
Bio: Louis was the son of a merchant couple. His parents both had minor magical prowess, and both wanted Louis to become some money making profession, more or less so he could support them afterwards.
However, Louis became more infatuated with his slight magical ability from a young age. While not a genius at using magic, he loved studying it, even if it never really helped him get better. His first magical 'breakthrough' was the creation of a portal to a small pocket dimension, which he used in his teen years as a storage for school, so he didn't need to carry heavy books around and so he would have a place to hide anything he would have to give to his parents. People around the school were already suspicious of Louis, mostly because of his odd speech and behavior. Then later into his school life, he discovered another 'dimension' while in class, and allowed a few mice to go loose into the room. He was subsequently expelled from his school, and, after moving, his parents sent him to Rosentale.
Skills and Abilities: Louis is a wizard, and a self described 'dimensionalist', though he made up the word himself. His primary ability is to open up dimensional holes, about 9 inches in diameter. He currently can only open two different 'dimensions':
An empty dimension, that he uses in place of a locker/backpack and generally keeps his own things in.
An animal dimension, that he discovered while experimenting, tends to let out animals small enough to fit through the hole, such as rabbits, mice, etc.
(Note: There are very very rare occasions where a mythological animal of varying size/danger might come out, but this is a very unlikely occurrence.)
Character Flaws:
- Louis tends to be a bit overbearing when in conversations, and will sometimes overtake others without realizing it.
- Louis tends to act a bit too attached to people at times, which can come across as him being pushy, accentuated by the fact he tends to talk about very personal things with people whom he only met recently.
- Has little sense of social protocol (Even though he does speak in a fancy way, acts in a casual manner around people in a higher position.)
- Is unorganized to the point of being very forgetful of things planned in advance.
- Has a tendency of doing odd things at times they shouldn't be done.
