With Tyrant deciding to lay low and keep an eye on the camp, Talon had this itch between his shoulders to go and explore the surrounding areas. He hardly knew this land from the ground, and the maps were highly inacurate. He figured he might as well get a better look from the ground and chart a better map. The old Z-fang loped along easily, lazily, and absolutely in a bored fashion.
It was almost like the Old Man wanted to run more after all those years of being asleep. It was difficult to reign in. Every once in a while Talon would get a bleep on the scanner. An odd bleep. And he was a little too far away to contact Tyrant for a better read on what that was.
Tacker the spider was on his shoulder and seemed to be very intent on mending his collar of the shirt. The spider had gotten into the mending kick after that massive cloak expedition a while ago. Talon had tried his best to get the spider out of it, but no it wasn't going to happen. He sighed and patted the spider on the head. " Easy Tacker... I see it to, and stop poking me in the neck. "

Standing atop a large rocky outcropping Keeping an eye out on the camp in the distance, Something rather interesting has cross the boarder a short time ago and Marica was sure it wasn't just her keeping an eye on the new arrivals. Though it seemed the two zoids only had one human between them,
The Monkey MRZ sat perched on her shoulder Gazing the same direction, she was. That rather interesting looking Tiger was heading this way, It'd be a shame to have to break it before it was sold, maybe the pilot would be a good sport and give up one of them.
She wondered just how much of her zoid the Zaber could see. she'd installed some good Jamming devices to keep him hidden, always seemed to be some one after Catastrophe. The guy too may have been just too curious for his own good. Marcia leaped off the side of high rock into her Zoid the head closed down around her and wires attached to the back of her seat as the canopy closed.
Lola used her tail to hold onto Marcia as she jumped into the bio zoid perching comfortably on the top of the chair after leaving the woman's shoulders.
A deep ominous rumbling growl emitted from the zoid echoing through the area.

His camp, currently, was a little out in the open. Talon really hadn't want to spend a few hours digging in rock to get the ideal place less someone stumble across him and flush him out with fire or something silly and western like that. But it was rather obvious that he was traveling with two ZOID's, wasn't it? Not too oblivious, but a trained eye could pick it up in an instant, and it seemed like one had.
Tryant buzzed on the radio the closer to the larger cliff they got. Something about a weird bounced signal emanating from there. As well as some bio readings. Actually, a lot of bio readings. Huge amount. The curiosity to explore this area was suddenly killed in the pilot, but the damned Z-fang just wouldn't see reason and kept on running. At least, he kept on running until that haunting roar echoed through the canyons.
" Ah? " Talon asked nothing in particular, taking a few moments to register the roar, then compaire it to any other harmful roar. Nope. Not the scarier than s**t run for your life roar. But it did register high. It really was nothing I've ever heard. That meant look for cover, but not on the mountains incase it was something that had good distance. Nothing was found, even Tyrant had nothing to offer other than a continual feed of the bioscans...
But that was far more helpful than most. With a bounced signal from the Sub-Geno Breaker, Talon decided to hail this potential threat before it became an issue. " Howdy there. Whatever...you are. Anyways. I'm really not looking for a fight. Directions would be nice. "

Catastrophe continued to rumble, he hadn't roared fully, at least not yet. It would give away their location. As much as it wanted to. The bone zoid stood though not to his full height, he kept himself behind the rocks, a challenge to say the least when you were as big as he was. If Talon was looking he might see the bones on the back of the zoid that jutted out in the distance.
Marica listened to the pilots rather amusing spoken request but kept silent letting static be her answer. From her own scanners he seemed unsure of where she and the large bio zoid was. Maybe she'd scare him out of that zoid and take it without too much trouble.
Might be worth it to let Catastrophe play some he'd been rather eager lately. Poor guy, Marcia kept her radio off as she spoke to the zoid. "Want to scare the pilot?"
Catastrophe rumbled in quite pleased with the idea before releasing an ear shattering Roar .
"Let's have some fun, maybe we'll get a bonus," she spoke finishing attaching the wires that stuck to her skin making her able to move the bio zoid without using the standard set of controls. Marcia focused on synching herself with the catastrophe.
Massive Zoid began to move causing large dust clouds.

Roar... Rumble... Growl... they all sounded the same after a while of hearing them. Frequencies varied, but that was the way of things. Tacker, however, didn't like that roar, rumbly jumbly sound and decided that now was the best time to start hissing and doing spidery kung-fu moves. It got him a swift brush off the shoulder and a quick acquaintanceship to the floor of the machine's control floor.
The singnal, though, appeared to be from that massive rocks. Tyrant bounced a few more signals before that massive dust cloud came. The amusement in the green Zoid's findings wasn't lost on Talon. But that dust cloud wasn't very fun to deal with without his beloved super awesome Tyrant's scanning skills. Hell, he probably would have been left in the dark as the monster approached.
The Z-fang, however, wasn't too sure it liked what was approaching. If it wasn't for Talon's unamusement at the dramatics ( was it dramatics? Or did the Zoid actually kick up that much dust while walking? That would be impressive, wouldn't it Tacker? Psh... ) the Z-fang probably would have bolted. Then that roar shook the world. It really was quite along the lines of a yappy dog's high pitched yelp as far as annoyance, but it was rather frightening. Hit the stomach and chest just right to jolt any sane person in the opposite direction or make them do something stupid. Talon, however, probably wasn't quite as sane as he should be at the moment. He just blinked, tilted his head to the side and waved a hand for the Z-fang to return the roar. And it did... a slightly less awesome and amazing roar, but it was a roar... Even if he could tell the poor Zoid hadn't used its pipes in such a long time. The link was terminated after the silence that stayed up.
" I don't think they're going to be friendly... " he muttered to his link to Tyrant before flicking a few buttons to pull up the thermal scans on one of the side screens instead of radar. No point in using his eyes if he couldn't see, and radar was never useful in a sand storm unless you weren't in combat he found. " See if you can't make out what it is. Off the bat it isn't Chimera... Not enough sneakiness and its a little loud. Thought I saw bones, like a walking skele-- no.. I'm not going crazy. "
He probably was going crazy, but he coaxed the Z-fang forward towards the dust cloud at a cautious pace, rather eager to see what lay in store. Then again, it wasn't one of those things that seemed too friendly. But if it had wanted to demolish him, it would have done so by now. Unless it was one of those pirate thingies. Ah... mercenaries... Maybe they would be friendlier once he explained that he wasn't crazy. No. One doesn't open up conversation that one isn't crazy. That's just asking for trouble.
" Listen, whomever you are in that dashingly delightful sand cloud; in the past month I've pretty much lost everything I stood by in a blink of an eye. I just want directions to the nearest source of water. And stop kicking up dust. It looks silly. " The coms were popped back on, and he let the slight annoyance that he was feeling right now slide through. What next? Some giant bone zoid that was supposed to be pilotless suddenly appeared out of nowhere and demanded his wallet? HA HA HA HA... wait....

Catastrophe continued closr the wight of his feet on the ground was the cause of the clouds, it happens when your the same size if not larger than a Gojulas.
Marcia laughed inside the zoid, This other pilot was a hoot good thing her com was of "He is right Catastrophe you should stop being over dramatic, you're pretty scary fr everyone even without the antics."
The Zoid growled dissaprovingly, it was a shame he was already close enough for talon to be very worried.
"Oh come now, no more dramatics right?" Marcia helped smooth out the Catastrophes movements.
The zoid wasn't listening, it had a few more motions to go through, Talon first would see the silhouette of the large skeletal zoid looming along with the two glowing red eyes who's light seemed to pierce through the cloud as the dust settled the skeletal zoid glared down at the saberfang looming ominously.
Marcia sighed, holding back another laugh, that poor pilot, it almost made her feel sorry enough not to take his zoids. Almost. Marcia just let the bio zoid have it's fun this time. It was a good thing neither the republic army or the imperial army knew of her acquisition... it could have posed a real problem.

Warning lights flickered on and off, mostly because this was an old Zoid and it wasn't really used to seeing something like this...Or maybe it had and it was just having a panic attack not being able to see in front of it. Either way,Talon had to do some manual over-rides. Thankfully the dust stopped being picked up. Someone over there had some common sense.
The Tyrant on the other hand made its final scans and was in a panic. Information about this bone zoid was being thrown at a pace the poor Z-Fang couldn't keep up with. Talon was going to be left in the dark in this reveal. On darn. But the information was trickling through. But those nice percing red glowy eyes did seem a bit menacing. Oh look a walking... wait.
" That... huh... " Talon managed to say, his head again tilting to the side as he stared up at something that could probably crush his current Zoid with its pinky toe. No, not really. Probably an entire foot, but he did know that it would take a good force of effort for that monster thing to pick his Z-Fang up with its arms. Its the little things in life that make you giggle madly. He whistled, " I can say I'm impressed and relieved. Can I get directions now? Cause as bone-chillingly awesome as you are, I really would like to be heading far away from here. Now...can I talk to another person? I talk to myself enough as it is. "
Talon muttered to himself for a moment, hardly paying any heed when Tacker decided to crawl up to get a look at what had rattled loose a leg earlier. The little spider shook a couple fists at the thing, went 'derk' a few times, then settled into its little hammock web thing.

Catastrophe Roared again at the zaber fang, he did enjoyed being intimidating, and he could tell the Zaber itself didn't like the bone zoid. His tail whipped back and forth taking chunks out of the rock beside him. He lunged forward suddenly snapping his jaws inches from the tigers face then pulled back.
"Are you done?" she asked the zoid taking another good look at the two zoids the guy came with, it didn't seem as though either of them had any Zi metal on them, or any special missiles. Then again, either zoid could have a surprise hiding beneath the metal armor.
He gave a hiss growl, his claw scrapping a chuck of the mountain beside him leaving a large claw mark. No...
Of Course he wasn't done, not till that pilot was turned tail and run. As much as she loved the chase, it would be rather problematic, she didn't want it known how fast the large zoid really was. Marcia finally turned her com on voice only "You're funny, How bout you give me that zoid your in," she paused and looked at Tyrant a ways off "Or that sub-geno and I'll give you directions..."

Atelius, whom had been scanning the area a ways from Talon, returned in a hurry at the distress signals he had been picking up from both of Talon's ZOIDs.
A green light flashed across the sky as he circled above the bio ZOID. Nothing like the great father, but an intimidating entity of its own design.
"By the great mother, Why haven't you gotten back in your Tyrant?! It's far more capable against that than even your evolved Zaber fang." He squawked over the com. "The red blunder of an organoid didn't even give it Zi-metal! For great mother's sake master..."
Atelius looked back circled over the bio Zoid. Perhaps he could latch onto it and communicate with the core directly? It certainly wasn't a natural ZOID... maybe that would be too complicated.

Talon blinked again as the roar was uttered and punctuated by falling rocks. Okay, he was impressed. He wanted to mutter that he wanted one, but really it was more along the lines of it would be cool to rampage across the Imperial City with that thing. Or at the very least, have it sit on the tarmac for a few hours just to annoy the hell out of people. With jaws of death pretty much meters from his person, Talon did indeed jump in his seat. The Z-fang simply hissed and shifted in its spot for that.
Thankfully, he didn't know the great lug was sentient in its own right. Atelius decided just then to bother him with details about why on the world Talon wasn't in the Tyrant. He brushed that part off easily. Right now it wasn't important why he was there and why he was instead in the older older model. " Less scolding, more information please. And I figure the more I use it, the better the chances it'll be able to react on its own. It was asleep for at least five hundred years. Don't do something Pincushion would do. "
His eyebrow started to raise at the mention of trading a Zoid for information. That was just down right stupid. Though he had to give her applause for that sort of thing. You had to barter to get anything. "That's actually a problem right there. You see, if I gave you this delightful relic, it would wander back to me. Believe me. I've tried leaving it in the middle of nowhere before. " The inital response of wanting to at least gnaw a bone on that bone zoid at the mere mention of giving up his Tyrant was dismissed rather quickly. They'd be a smear and that just wasn't useful for anyone at the moment. " But how about Seven hundred credits for the information and I'll leave you out of my report. "

Report? "A soldier, little far from home aren't you?" she chuckled didn't even mention the green sub-geno, that must be his main zoid then. Curious why he was in the Zaber then, the sub geno looked more suited to fight. Oh well a bit more fun for her now then.
Catastrophe was satisfied finally though he continued to rumble ominously he didn't make any more attempts to scare the poor pilot, though he tilted his head at the strange little bird zoid flying in the sky. Like a small insignificant fly he wanted to take his skeletal hand and squash it. That bird thing was annoying.
"Seven hundred credits, rather intent on insulting me aren't you?" she brushed it aside and returned the insult. "Or I could just catch you, pull you out of the cockpit leave you here wipe the memory and sell both the zoids anyway then give you directions." So long as the Cores is intact it would be fine. not that she was really thinking of it, she was having fun too much fun messing with the guy. One more little nudge might to the trick "You can''t hurt this zoid it's not like those you are used to fighting." She warned
Catastrophe glared down at the little zoid like it was going to be a tasty meal.

Atelius' "feathers" ruffled at the mere comparison to the bone-headed striker. The nerve, and from his own superior pilot!
"It is a bio Zoid, it can only be physically penetrated via a powerful beams lasers, or anything made of Zi-metal or greater." Atelius returned the glare to the beast as if -daring- it to try. He hissed than sent a message to the ZOID directly 'try it and the wrath of the great mother upon you'. Likely a meaningless threat to one who is not a natural creation.
"Master, with its bulk you can out run it if you push that beast to its limit... It is large, but less maneuverable than you." Atelius gained altitude. Seconds later Talon would receive a detailed map-layout of the surrounding area. There were several red dots blinking with "ZOID" labeled in tiny letters above them. Most were far to the north or south of their current position.
"Perhaps if you can gain a -great- lead I can send a signal to the Jury... Let the great father teach this ruffian some manners...." He added half sarcastically. The Jury was in no way a better situation to get into, but the thought was a fun one to entertain.

The idea of running seemed a better idea the more he stayed. Even better when he learned the entire machine was a Bio. Talon muttered a curse, and glanced over the map. " I may be more maneuverable, but I am also not at all armed whereas that monster probably could throw a few rounds at my probably path and put me out easily. ... Wha... No. Abosolutely not. I've had enough fun from the Court as it is. " But those looming dots on the horizon, Talon had to keep the summoning the Jury an option, and he admitted it with a snarl " I can't believe I'm thinking that's an option right now. "
Ah..Right.. the Report, " It's quite a story why I'm all the way out here. Believe you me, I wish it was fiction how it all happened. " A few more glances at the map and Talon was pretty much bored of her antics. " Look... You're in the only Bio-Zoid I know of... that shouldn't have a pilot, that does have a pilot. And considering I'm still alive at the moment, and there are an amassment of people on all sides of us a few hundred miles away, all I have to do is send a signal that 'Catastrophy' is piloted and we'll be swarmed from all sides by military personal. I frankly just want directions to water. Now, I can go as far as fivethousand credits, but then I'd not only be broke, but I've an inkling that you just want one of my ZOIDs. And I think you are mad for wanting anything that I've touched. " Beamed cannons, right? Didn't Tyrant get an upgrade for that? Would he be able to pull that off without Talon in the pilot seat? It was worth a shot.
Then again, could it fire from that range and still get off a few hits before boom squish? " Ii'm not thrilled with resorting to threats to just get the point across that I just want to take a bath right now. But if you really want to continue this, that flying silvery thing up there has my full permission to catch the attention of The Judge and Jury. I'll take my chances with them and you, and my money is on them. Now, water hole. Where is it? "

No reply came Static, was all that Talon would get from now on.
That last sentence sent familiar chills down Marcia's spine she tensed for a moment as the image she had tried to bury surfaced instantly, with only two words Judge and Jury. Everything else in her mind seemed to slip away into the black abyss. The things she had seen related to those two words....
Catastrophe could feel the sudden change in his pilot's mental state, his eyes lit up, and he roared becoming much more menacing. The bio zoid lunging forward, with surprising speed for a monster of his size and with an obvious killing intent. The bird above went forgotten the beast was focused on one thing, ripping apart that tiger.
Anything Talon had previously said seemed to vanish with the wind, He couldn't tell anyone if he was dead. That bird... that bird thing belonged to that monster, Anything relating to it had to be removed, that thing didn't need anymore allies, if she could remove a few before being taken down it would be well worth it.
It had allies everywhere it seemed, there must be some in each faction, some how it manipulated them into working for it. But if they wouldn't come to their senses. Well.

"Hey now! You threatened me first! " Talon barked before pushing the Z-fang forward, avoiding the smashing maw and pretty much running close to the monster to make use of the agility. If this was a Bio-mech, it would run out of juice long before his own would.... if he was in the Tyrant. D'OH! "I wouldn't make it out either if it came to that! Besides, killing me probably would bring damnation upon you faster. Now stop that, sit Fido! Sit! Would you please stop? "
The reaction speed of that monster bone pile wasn't human. It was feral, animal... Obviously the monster met them. Them being the mean nasty people that seemed to have a hand in Talon's luck. " Atelius! Can you get those wonderful fun dots on the screen to swarm here? And how long would that take? "
Wait...why would something want him dead again? Oh right information... And hadn't Tyrant stored the information and was prepared to bounce any signals direct to the Empire in case something happened? ... " You do realize that that green zoid right there would send all information if I'm killed, right? Now calm the hell down, pretend like we strutted around like roosters, and get to the exchange of information and I'll pretend I never saw you. I'll throw in a can of sardines. Maybe a secretary. "
