Have you ever had a cosplay you did that you felt came out badly that you want to hide it away? But now looking back you want to re-do it?
I did Kuchiha from Amatsuki once but it came out really badly, the longer I wore it the worst I seemed to be able to cos.
If I had the time, I would like to redo this cos
how about you guys?

Makimachi Misao from Rurouni Kenshin. She was my first cosplay back from when I was like... thirteen or fourteen... Something like that. The outfit itself still fits (I stopped growing relatively early in life -w- ), it's just that I never got around to completing it. I had all the supplies for the shoes, but never made them. And by the time I got around to making her gloves, I couldn't find fabrics that matched what I had used earlier. So the gloves would pretty be mismatched compared to the main costume. And looking back on it, I don't think I got the right colors for the costume either. So if I ever want to cosplay Misao again (which I totally do because RuroKen is one of my fave anime/manga), I pretty much have to start again from scratch.
In the meantime, I've been thinking about selling the original costume and giving my great aunt the proceeds - she made the costume, after all. Just kinda depressed because I really do love the outfit. ;A;

I love Rurouni Kenshin, one of the greatest anime ever. you know i just met some people at the con that i just attended who never heard of Samurai X, OTL was so upset since ther was an awesome Kenshin there.
Well if you still love the costume, there is no harm in holding on to it for a lil while longer biggrin

I made the cosplay before the game even came out or any information about the character. It was my first attempt at armor crafting and cosplay overall. But knowing what I know today, my first cosplay was an absolute abomination that should burn in hell to how badly it was done. So afterwards I trashed the entire thing.
But if I ever planned to do it again it would be like a thousand times better.

While I don't think they came out bad, I'd just like to remake them to have them be soooo much better.
I want to make Fran more functional. No more not being able to sit, or go the the bathroom is needed.
I just want to remake T-Elos. I wasn't really satisfied with the overall look of her, even if she did look good-- just not how I wanted her to look.

I'm always secretly planning on re-doing my first ever cosplay (Gaara from naruto) because I have the costume, it just needs touch ups! And I basically have all the materials I need for it, just a small effort and it's done. Details, details!
The costume wasn't even bad, it just doesn't fit me properly because I've lost weight and maybe it needs some repair work and detailings on it but that wouldn't even be a big thing, I just need to get started.
I actually might surprise myself at some point and re-do it this summer!
