"You have got to be kidding me."

While Uuni had never been fond of the unearthly whine of elevator music, she certainly missed the sudden lack of it now. There was a loud, grinding sound, and a thunk when the metal box dropped a few inches and locked into place. The numbers, previously bright, were now dark.

Uuni was leaning against one corner, arms stretched out along holding bars which lined the sides of the elevator.

She shifted from this position, and stalked over to the bottons. However, no matter how many she mashed, nothing seemed to change. No, the elevator doors were stuck, parted approximately a half inch apart, barely half a foot distant from the plane of floor three. The power had gone out, and they, yes they were stranded.

There was only one other person in the elevator, and until just then, Uuni hadn't even given them a second thought.
