Kelula found most things boring as of late. She remembered when she was a foal, everything was interesting in one way or another. Now.... Now things changed, more and more things became less and less interesting. Of course, perhaps it was because she only knew her family. She had never tried to make friends. The attempt to communicate with others just wasn't something she enjoyed doing. Now she realized, perhaps it wasn't so bad. She sighed.... She really didn't want to talk to others.
She flicked her tail and fluttered her wings a bit, wanting to do something but lost in thought about what. She glanced around the area, and didn't notice anyone, though the trees about made it rather difficult to truly know for sure. She liked the woods, they made her feel good. Though, they were slowly losing their touch. She didn't want it to. She could make herself smaller if she wished and get lost as a tiny bug-like horse, but she didn't like becoming small. She thought being small made her look weak..
Finally, after a few moments pause, she started to move. Letting her legs carry her where ever they wished. At least for now. She didn't do it often, but perhaps today they'd bring her to something interesting, something that'd catch her eye and make her change her losing interest in the forest.

Many days of travelling had made Kaz’kah weary. Rarely did he stop to rest and he hadn’t come across another soul for a long time. The days had been quiet except for the birds and the winds that occasionally blew down through the canopy of trees above. In the early evening his travelling companion awoke, only to fly off to catch himself dinner. The bat would always return after feeding to talk into the twilight hours about their current quest. As the troll slept his companion would keep a watchful eye over him. When the sun came up Hakkar would once again crawl into the troll’s main to sleep the day away. Now, he plodded away slowly in the day light, listening carefully to the sounds of the forest that surrounded him. He knew if something strong came upon him now he may not be able to fight it off. When an unusual sound reached his ear, at first he thought it was only a bird rustling in the bushes but the sound was not right. Something was different, it sounded now like the hoof falls of a deer but the steps sounded lighter and perhaps he even heard the flutter of a butterfly wing. He paused, wondering if this strange creature who was still out of sight could be a threat. Slowly, carefully, he walked forward, peering between the trees trying to catch a glimpse of the creature.

Kelula instantly saw the other as he came into view causing her to stop instantly. As it was day, she had no way of truly disappearing. At least not how she wanted to. She stood there and just stared at him for a moment. Perhaps this was her moment to make things different, to interest her in some way. She did ask for a sign in away, and here her feet had carried her. Though, she wasn't sure she was going to like this too much. Still, silence came from her, except for the movement of her wings still softly fluttering about.
She flicked her tail, and figured it was too late to pretend she didn't see him. Her black and golden eyes looked cool despite the color. "What are you doing here?" She asked him in almost a tone like she knew him. She never knew how to really address others, and they always came out either like she knew them, or ruder then she intended. Of course, after awhile, they became as rude as they sounded. It's what others expected from her, she noticed. Or maybe she just hung around her brother FAR too much.

Kaz'kah stared back at the creature, his eyes moving slowly over her entire form. He was amazed to find a Soquili body, much like his own, attached to such amazing wings. In his travels this far he had never seen anything like it. Drifting his gaze to her face he noted the horns that were buried into her mane. Quite an unusual combination he though to himself. Her eyes seemed dangerous, but he wasn't afraid of this creature, even in his current state. When she spoke to him, any doubt he had about her faded, her voice seemed familiar, perhaps they had met before though he was sure he would remember such an unusual form.
He broke his strong gaze upon her, shifting his green eyes just to the side of her so as not to appear too rude. "I just be travelin through." He said with a nod in her direction. "What ya be doin here?" He asked in return, his voice deep but sweet. He spoke with what sounded close to a Jamaican accent if there were anyone around who knew what that might be.

She hated this meeting already. He was staring at her and it was making her uncomfortable. She moved slightly to the side and fluttered her wings and looked at him directly in the eyes. That's what she was taught to do. Show no fear and look into their souls. He seemed to be telling the truth as far as she could tell, not that it mattered really.
He spoke rather silly too, what type of stallion doesn't know how to talk proper? It didn't matter, she supposed she wasn't proper either, especially with her rude attitude towards others. "I'm passing through." Not that he really needed to know anything about her. It was odd, but she suppose it was a common thing for other horses to talk about. She wasn't very social when it came to any type of contact. "Why do you speak like that?" Curiosity took her.
