 Jeevita was starting to feel old. It was harder to fly now, then it was when she was younger. Though, she still enjoyed a bit of wind in her face. Today, though, she decided to walk. She didn't look nearly as old as she felt, though, her mane had bits of silver in it more then it did when she was younger. It was hard to notice, so she didn't mind. Not that she could do anything anyways. Things were going rather good for her now. Her life had started with a few bumps, but now things seemed good.She hadn't forgotten about the things that had happened, and hopped that she had learned from a few of them. Now she had 6 gorgeous children with the stallion that she loved very much.
The sun was shining out, yet it was still cold. She could see her breath each time she exhaled. To her, it was still a beautiful day, even with the chill in the air. Winter was great, though it was slowly turning to spring. All the snow that had been here weeks before, had all gone and melted. She loved the snow, but she loved the spring more. The pretty flowers, the foals running about, and all her old friends coming out to enjoy the warmth. She hadn't seen a few of them and she hoped they were well. Especially her sister. It was time for new friends, as well. She hadn't made many of them lately. Spending most of her time enjoying quite walks alone, or with her mate.

 Akuba was pacing round and in and out of his teepee... he couldn't stray far now he was alone with how two baskets. He watched a puff of water vapour steam away from him out of his nostrils and from his lips. He lost everything and gained two lives in the shortest amount of time. His heart couldn't sink any lower for he had failed his first kids, he questioned how he'd handle these by himself. He had no milk to give them, it'd be lucky if they could even survive.
He didn't mind the cold. But he did mind that it was another factor which could make his foals permanently still. He didn't want that. He stood by the entrance of his teepee and squinted at the invading sun. He sighed to himself, he was now again all on his own. He about-turned and went back inside to his baskets.
"It's just you and me. You're my responsibility. I'll love you both no matter what and be with you all the way. I don't know what you are yet, but it doesn't matter to me because you're mine and I'll help you all the time."
He felt a little crazy talking to baskets, but these were life forms too. He smiled,'could it be any worse?' He didn't want to know yet.

Jeevita heard some voices, though she didn't yet know where they had come from. At first she tensed up. She hadn't been around strangers since she had saved her daughter from a Kalona. She didn't want to run into another one. She had a good experience with a Kalona once, but the bad one over powered the good.
She peeked around a few trees to get a better look at where the voice was coming from, and soon as she did, she saw a stallion. To her relief, it was just a regular. She felt her heart pounding in her chest from the thought of a kalona. She didn't know what the male had been talking about, but she had heard voices and it frightened her. Now she was at ease. She gave a pleasant smile before approaching the male. "hello" She said.
She didn't notice the baskets by him, nor did she see anyone he was talking to. Though that wasn't strange to her. Sometimes when you were lonely, it was better to talk to yourself than to let the silence crush you. She had done it to herself a few times, talked to herself when no one was around.
