A dark gloomy forest; it just seemed too typical to Kenshin. He'd planned on getting away from the hidden Mist, but it seemed it wasn't as easy as original thought. He back-flipped to a large branch, sat down with his feet hanging, and look up at the sky.
"There are always clouds around......" he said out loud.

The air was still and thick with a chakra that felt of death and despair. The ground was covered in decay and hint of liquid that was not far from normal around the rain village. But something was not right, as if the play was missing the lead actor. It was like the show had come to a stop, as if death had his way with the land.
Suddenly the air shifted and a strange event unfolded. In Kenshin's eyes, the trees around him started to act in a way not possible in this realm. From time to time a random tree would glitch and disappear as if a computer program was falling apart. This lasted for a long while until the entire forest vanished and was replaced by what looked like darkness. In fact that was all that remained was darkness except the outline of a man in black. "There is a time when you hold your head up and fight the odds...This is not one of them times. Go home boy."

Kenshin ignored the genjutsu for a second. He focused on the voice he heared. Go home? That's the last thing he wanted to do at the moment. Why go to a place where people stare at you like you're a monster?
"Sorry my good friend, but home is not an option right now. Now if you could release this genjutsu, I'll be on my to the village hidden in the Rain."

Zero smiled and started to walk directly to Kenshin "Genjutsu?" Zero pointed to the tree he was sitting in. "Genjutsu only works if you don't know about it, but I know what you are going to say. I am a Uchiha, and I can do genjutsu that others can't....But..." Zero continued to point to the tree although it looked as if it was not there. "what do you think your sitting on? it is all still here." Zero then tended to the cloth that was around his eyes

Kenshin ignored the man's words and hopped down. 'I gave him a chance,' Kenshin thought to himself. He always gave people a chance to leave him alone, but it would seem this stranger wouldn't take that chance.
"So what you're telling me is that you won't end this jutsu, and I can't continue my journey?"
Kenshin sighed and took his shirt off. The shirt fell down and hung from the rope tied around his waist.

Zero continued to walk to him, the floor pulsing under his feet as he took each step. "This is your reality, and I suggest you turn around and be a good boy." He had come far too close to their hideout for him to continue. He stopped and placed his hands out to his sides. Suddenly the darkness was ripped from the area, causing the sun to come out and make the forest look peaceful momentary. Then as quickly as it arrived, the sun faded and the forest looked like it did. Zero cracked his fingers as he put them to the cloth around his face. His eyes looked as if they belonged to the devil himself as the cloth fell to the floor. "Put you blouse back on and go home."

Kenshin put one foot forward and his knee began to change shape on the inside. A bone began to push its way out of the top of his knee. Kenshin grabbed what appeared to be a handle and pulled a blade out.
"Tsurugi no Mai......a katana whose density has no equal. Come..."
Suddenly Kenshin was very serious and focused. He waited for this stranger to make a move.

Zero smiled, then laughed out loud. "That is a cute toy my man, but it looks a bit sharp for you. You could cut yourself or worse, and we don't want that to happen now do we?" Zero put his hands behind his back and waited for him to make his move "If you feel you must die today then pleas make this last longer then the other." He looked genraly concerned in a creepy way.

"Sure, but I warn you....I may suddenly lose interest."
With his katana in his right hand, Kenshin raised his left hand so the tips of his fingers pointed at the stranger. He spread them wide and five bullet-like fragments shot out.
"....I am Kenshin Kaguya of the seven swordsmen of the hidden Mist..."

It was like ripples through time. Zero could see Kenshin raise his hand and fire the five bullets before he even finished the movement. And just like that, he calculated the speed and angles of the bones which let him take a small step to the left to evade them. Before they hit the ground he made sure there was nothing abnormal about them to increase his odds. "was that yours? I am sorry about that man, I'm just not feeling very religious at the moment."
