I like guild roleplay, though usually I like it to be a formal stepping stone with a plot of some kind, rather than just sheer random. Not that random isn't fun, but I prefer my random in IM.

This is my preferred method of roleplay, and I'm practically always on Skype. I like doing goofy, fun, informal stuff, and if it's a formal roleplay I can always log it later. If you don't have Skype I've also got AIM, you'll just have to prompt me to log on.

I mean that's why you're here in this journal... The level of plotting will vary. It can either be light and settled in this thread or more complicated and will have to be moved to PM or IM. Either way, make sure you give me a real plot/reason when you submit the posting form!

When it comes to looks I can see a lot of potential so usually that isn't the issue, but I do reserve the right to be picky with any offers of crack. I don't like to strain personalities. Doesn't matter how cute they look together, if a date isn't going well I'll call things off. It's nothing personal.

Actually, don't stop. If we've got a role-play going and your muse has left you or you leave Gaia for a bit, please tell me! If I PM you about it more than once, and the role-play has been dead for at least two months, I will end the role-play and move on. Some may already have plots, and double-dating (like double-dipping) is a no-no! Offer on a plotted fox if you want, but be aware that your offer probably won't come to pass. If the current plot doesn't work out though, then you get dibs. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Genesis is a lone wanderer who tends to travel around a lot, but has a "home base", a large area she wanders most frequently, that she spends most of her time in. She's not a big talker or chatty, but she can hold a decent conversation without making it seem like you have to pry every word past her lips. There's a certain detachment about her, even though she always seems to have a trace of a smile on her mouth. She's willing to help people when they truly need the help and is calming to be around, but it's difficult to say whether or not you're truly close to her since she's not the most expressive of foxes.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males highly preferred, but could go with a female if the personality is right. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's she looking for? ♪Someone with a confident personality. Energy level isn't necessarily important, though no one hyperactive. Maturity is a plus, otherwise Genesis is going to feel like a mom chasing after her kid. He can be compared to winter in a variety of ways. He's beautiful, but also cold and deadly. He's silent, calm, and still, yet dangerous storms can spring up out of nowhere with little to no warning. What that all basically means is that he's solitary by nature, quiet, and distant. He doesn't like talking to people, doesn't like being around people, just doesn't like people at all. He does tolerate company, but he's exceptionally touchy and it's not hard to offend him. Only a scant few foxes are enough in his good graces that they can get away with a couple annoyances here and there. And he absolutely, positively, hates being touched by strangers; he doesn't even really like it from people he knows, either, but at least with them he won't fly into a killing rage.♪ Any preferences? ♪Either gender is fine since this will have to be a personality match-up. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Honestly, I don't know what to ask for for him. He's got such a touchy personality that I have to be really picky about plots. Seriously, it's so easy to screw up with this guy and he's not the kind to forgive a mistake. I think self-mating him might be the only way he'd ever be mated, but if you think you've got someone up to the challenge then by all means let's hear about it!♪ Any offers yet? ♪I made an offer to Yushika for Stalkid. We talked about it, did a little bit of potential plotting, but nothing's happened and I don't know if we're actually going to try them or not. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Nox is very out-of-tune with her emotions. She speaks in a dead monotone and her face is usually devoid of any expression. She's extremely intelligent and has a wide variety of interests as well as a near-perfect memory, but she doesn't much like to talk with others either. The only people she seems to care about at all are her sisters, and of them only her twin, Nyx, is fully allowed into Nox's world. She's not hostile towards strangers, but her aura of apparent disinterest is almost as effective a shield.♪ Any preferences? ♪Either gender is fine since this will have to be a personality match-up. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's she looking for? ♪The main thing would probably be they would have to be alright with Nox's emotional deadness. Even when she's attached to someone she's not very chatty or expressive. I think a higher energy level would be better as well, since they'll most likely have to make a lot of the first moves in order to establish some kind of relationship.♪ Any offers yet? ♪I made an offer to Yushika for Fey. Not sure yet how they'll do, but we have a basic idea we're going to try. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Xeon is a very inquisitive fox and is almost always asking questions of others. His intentions are scholarly, but he'll probably come across as nosy and prying since he doesn't have much tact and doesn't consider many subject off-limits. When Xeon's not asking questions he's actually pretty quiet and likes to observe. He has a sort of naïve and innocent air about him, like a cute/nerdy scholar, and he's a bit oblivious when it comes to affection, but even if he doesn't show it he cares deeply.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males highly preferred, but could go with a female if the personality is right. Any species or edit level accepted, though nothing too clashy with his pattern.♪ What's he looking for? ♪First off, Xeon is part of the Kemet Tribe and won't leave, so make sure you're okay with either joining the tribe or having a tribe/nontribe coupling. I think a romantic type would be best with him since Xeon's so oblivious. They can be flashy and flamboyant, strong and silent, or any personality combo in between, as long as they'll be loyal. Xeon's easily distracted by his pursuit for answers to his questions, so there's got to be a level of patience as well.♪ Any offers yet? ♪Zanshin offered up Damien for him. Totally lovin' the idea, just waiting for him to be certed and to finished some of our current roleplays. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Oooh boy, where to start. Nemesis is a violent and twisted-in-the-mind girlie. She enjoys causing others pain; the physical, screamy kind, not any of that mental/emotional stuff because that would require her having to know something about the other fox and she has zero interest in foxes outside of her family group. Just like Mommy and Daddy, she gets a kick out of torturing her food before she eats it. Cruelty runs in her blood and is second nature to her. She's not all pain all the time, just when something fails to amuse her in another way. Better hope she finds something about you interesting, or you're fair fodder for her games.♪ Any preferences? ♪Either gender is fine since this will have to be a personality match-up. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's she looking for? ♪Needless to say, think really hard before you offer me something for girl and have a good plot lined out for me because there has to be a compatible meshing of personalities for anything to work out. Nemesis is never going to change and if you try she'll let you know exactly what she thinks of your attempt. Your fox has to value or agree with her violent side, which means preferably they're going to be twisted or evil themselves.♪ Any offers yet? ♪Nothing. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Bes is a really scary-looking guy. He's huge, both in height and muscle mass, plus he's got a super creepy pumpkin head! It's no mask, it's an actual enchanted pumpkin, with expressions that range from mildly creepy to oh-my-gods-its-going-to-eat-me! However, while your first reaction might be to scream and run, if you actually stick around and talk to the creepy pumpkin-head man you'll discover that underneath all the spooky is a shy, lovable, and highly sensitive fox. You'll have to find him though, since he prefers to hide himself from others.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males prefered, but also fine with females. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Bes comes from a family of strange where his looks aren't that unusual, but he quickly learned that his family is a special case and not all foxes are as nonchalant about his appearance. So first off, he needs someone who can deal with his condition. Next, he's got his Daddy's shyness about his differences, but with his "Mommy's" gentle nature, so Bes hides from pretty much everyone but his family. He's gonna need someone patient and willing to coax him out of his shell. Also, he's always going to be lurking in highly secluded forests so your fox is going to have to be willing to go along with this as well.♪ Any offers yet? ♪I offered him to Yushika for Aadin. We have a plot, we just haven't gotten to try it out yet. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Taranis is a very angry fox with an icy exterior. He's anti-social, and highly sensitive of his physical differences. Truthfully he just goes about things the wrong way, mocking others in some kind of attempt to justify what he is. He's extremely hard to get close to and prefers to avoid relationships of any kind because it's a vulnerability, a weakness that others can exploit when he wants to be seen as strong. Once he admits a connection exists though, he's the most fierce protector you could ever hope to meet and actually a very decent person.♪ Any preferences? ♪Females highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up he might fall for a male. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Taranis needs someone calm to offset his turbulent inner nature. We're working on a plot idea to see if it would work, roleplay probably going to be needed as well before I know how to call it. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Imani's a very sweet girl who tries to believe the best of others yet it also firmly aware that the reality of things isn't always what she sees behind her rose-colored glasses, and plans her life accordingly. Her trust and acceptance may seem to others to be a bit naïve, but Imani is no one's fool; betray the trust that she gave you so freely and there won't be a second chance. She is always encouraging, willing to offer advice, or just sit down and talk, and she simply adores children.♪ Any preferences? ♪Either gender is fine. Would prefer either a Phim and/or edits of some kind.♪ What's she looking for? ♪Someone kind and gentle who if they don't share her views can at least accept them. A harsh realist or idle daydreamer wouldn't work since both would frustrate her to no end, the former for being stubborn and inflexible and the later for being unable to face reality. A little IM roleplay done, still waiting a judgement. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Rosella's a difficult fox to get to know. Besides not wanting many close relationships, she's naturally quiet and close-mouthed. It's worth the effort to break through her shell though, because once you win her friendship her loyalty knows no bounds. She's a bit bold and forward about doing what she wants to, which may ruffle a few feathers. She's not the gentle or coddling type, but there is kindness under that crass shell.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males only. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's she looking for? ♪What she needs is someone just as tough and stubborn as herself, since she might be protective but she's not going to coddle anyone. We haven't roleplayed them yet, but I want to see how they do before accepting a new plot. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Colum isn't an easy guy to get close to and isn't really someone most people would consider liking. He's cold, shuns most company and bonds of any kind, and seems to have a perpetually gloomy outlook. He's convinced that no matter what he does in life he's going to end up hurt somehow, so why bother? It takes a remarkably persistent personality to break through his shell and there's no guarantee of any sort of reward if you do; it's not like he's holding back any hidden stores of optimism or cheer. There doesn't seem to be much outward difference between how he treats friend and foe, but there are moments he surprises even himself with how protective he can be towards people he considers important.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males only. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Someone dominant. I don't think their outlook is a major factor since he'll treat everyone about the same whether they're cheerful, angry, silent, or anything else you can think of. They just have to want and pursue Column, messed up though he is, and be the dominant initiator. Maybe with some time and patience they'll discover a side of Column that no one, not even Column himself, knew existed.♪ Any offers yet? ♪Nothing. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Shiori is a sweet and caring girl who puts others before herself. She won't let others walk all over her, of course, but nothing makes her happier than to be able to do something for someone and know that she was able to genuinely able to help them. She's the kindest fox you'll ever meet, but she's also pretty stubborn and won't give up without a fight. Figuratively speaking, since she hates fighting. Oh, and one more thing; Shiori's a mute.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up she might fall for a female. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's she looking for? ♪Shiori's such an anxious-to-please girl that while she's not entirely a push-over there's still the potential to abuse her good-will, so it would be nice if she could find a protector. She's already got a good energy level so I'm hoping to find someone a bit restful. We just need roleplay or backstory ideas. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Granite comes from a very strange world. History says his tribe once lived above the earth, but one day while exploring caves part of the tribe was trapped. For generations it was a tradition for the remainder of the tribe to clear the rubble, until one day they succeeded. They didn't not find an ancient tomb as they might have expected, but that their brothers and sisters had survived and evolved in the strangest of ways. They could no longer tolerate light but saw perfectly well in pitch darkness, had fangs that turned their mouths into grotesque smiles, and, most disturbingly, some had developed deadly appetites. Those trapped in the cave split into two groups, the Morlocks and the Ferals. As a Morlock, Granite only eats cave fungi and creatures such as bats or rodents. However he has no desire to leave his underground world for the one above, where the sounds are strange and too loud, where even the light of the moon hurts his eyes, and where his looks and mannerisms label him as a freak. If you venture into his world to speak with him, he doesn't have a whole lot to say. He'll talk if you do, but for the most part he's silent and devoid of any readable expressions. If you can win him over, he's a loyal and caring guy who pretty much personifies "strong and silent."♪ Any preferences? ♪Either gender is fine since this will have to be a personality match-up. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Definitely someone nocturnal, if not already a long-time cave-dweller themselves. Granite doesn't like to leave the cave for the outside world even at night, and he won't leave even then if the moon is full or in a gibbous stage; his eyes are that sensitive to light. So pretty much someone curious about him, willing to work around an odd meeting schedule, and willing to deal with his even odder family.♪ Any offers yet? ♪Nothing. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Ratana is cold (literally as well as figuratively) and alien. She lives in the far north where few care to make their homes and lives in solitude. She does not like company at all. While she can speak and will even mutter to herself when alone, she becomes selectively mute when others speak to her; she won't even communicate nonverbally. Eventually she may grow used to the presence of another and will mutter to herself whenever they're around, and may even indirectly answer inqueries in this fashion. She's not as bad as her mother in the romance department, but until she's sure she's found the one she tends to keep things light and casual.♪ Any preferences? ♪Females only. I would like to see someone who's sweet to her, in their own special way. Usually she lurks or explores in order to fish out answers on her own, but on the rare occasions when she'll only get her truth if she asks someone, she's not above actually asking questions. She's not a huge talker herself and tends to keep her sentences just as long as they need to be. She's not trying to be secretive, it's just that she's not overtly forthcoming. If you want to get an answer from her all you have to do is pose the proper question and she'll be glad to tell you what you want to know. She isn't the touchy feely emotiony type and doesn't seem to express emotions very well. It can be off-putting since she also gravitates towards solitary wanderings, but as long as you aren't intimidated (or annoyed) by her Cinnamon can make a good friend.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up she might fall for a female. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's she looking for? ♪Well first of all Cinnamon lives with her parents in the Caledonia tribe. She's happy to be in one place, especially given the interesting terrain the tribe lives on, and doesn't much want to travel. Whether or not you could change her mind remains to be seen. Personality-wise I think her mate should be on the mature side, or at least smart and hiding it with a flamboyant personality or something like that. I don't think she could tolerate someone immature or ignorant, so as long as they're not I think she could work with a variety of personalities.♪ Any offers yet? ♪Nothing. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Bruce is a cheerful and energetic guy with a positive outlook on life. Because of all his enthusiasm you wouldn't think he could just be quiet or wait for something, but he's got a remarkable store of patience and when it's called for he can be still and silent for as long as he has to. He's always willing to stop and chat or give advice, and he isn't at all shy about saying what he wants to, even in front of someone he might have only just met. Bruce isn't possessive or good at romance, but will still show how much he loves and cares for others in his own odd, somewhat clumsy way.♪ Any preferences? ♪Females highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up he might fall for a male. He's cheerful, nice to everyone he meets (whether they deserve it or not), has a sense of humor (even at his own expense), tries to mediate disputes before they turn into arguments, and is more likely to compromise than force things to be his way. Don't get him wrong! He's a realist and he just because he's nice doesn't mean he'll let folks walk all over him. He has his own set of morals that he lives by; if he thinks you're a bad person he won't hang around you any more, and if he thinks you're doing something wrong he'll speak up. He's not your nanny and not here to make you feel good about yourself, but as long as you keep trying he'll be right there to support you.♪ Any preferences? ♪Females preferred, but also fine with males. He's got inferiority issues because he's the baby in his family and is afraid this somehow affects how others view him. He developed a temper issue over it, but really works at trying to control himself. Much as you might want to thwack him in the head sometimes, Remus is actually a very caring person who can be surprisingly reasonable and adaptive.♪ Any preferences? ♪Females highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up he might fall for a male. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Someone who makes him feel strong, needed, and unique. He's already one in six, with three older brothers. His oldest brother is his twin and so easy to get along with the Remus worries no one will ever really look at him with Al around. You might have to put up with his bull-headedness or his temper from time to time, but if you have patience it's not so hard to handle and you get a very sweet guy in return. Also, Remus is part of the Yasashii tribe and won't be leaving, so make sure you're either willing to join or willing to have a chat with the Elder about remaining neutral while mated to a member.♪ Any offers yet? ♪Nothing. ♪ What's his personality? ♪Senna is like one of those large cats you see at the zoo. Lolling about in the sun on a rock and the picture of languishing laziness, but still a dangerous predator capable of tearing you to shreds if you make the mistake of being too complacent around him. He's got a cat's casual possessiveness and isn't the type you can order around since he tends to do what he wants, but usually you can talk him around into thinking that he's doing what he wants by doing what you want. He was raised a bit wild so watch out because he can go from lovable kitten to fierce jungle cat in an instant if something catches his attention.♪ Any preferences? ♪Females highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up he might fall for a male. Any species or edit level accepted.♪ What's he looking for? ♪Someone who interests him. He's willing to look after someone who's weaker or frailer, just as long as they can handle him. No one who thinks he's silly or lazy, since he's not going to change and they'd just wind up frustrated and leave him in the end. He's got a dual wild/innocent side to him that I'd like to see brought out.♪ Any offers yet? ♪I offered him for Reoakee's Frostfall. We still need to do a little roleplay to see if they'd work out. ♪ What's her personality? ♪Cheshire does what she wants. She always has, and she always will. She's strong and proud and mainly operates on her own; if she thinks someone is competent she's willing to do the whole teamwork thing, but if things go wrong it's every girl for herself. When she wants something, whether for herself or someone else, she goes for it with all her strength and determination and won't hold back, and while she's certainly unsympathetic and seems ruthless, when Cheshire loves someone she will protect them whenever they falter and will always have their back.♪ Any preferences? ♪Males highly preferred, but if it's a good match-up she might fall for a female. Cheshire loves a challenge and the thrill of the chase; even if they start out on opposite sides as adversaries, if she wants something she'll go for it. These are foxes have had guild roleplay and I don't quite consider them single, but they either need some ironing out or haven't gotten to the conclusion yet. Apollo x Evoe
Yushika and I are pretty sure we like these two together. All they really need is that second roleplay to confirm their romance, and whether or not Apollo leaves his tribe for her.
Avatre x Maevin
Given Avatre's nature I'm not ready to call these two yet, but I have hopes that they'll work out.

I have to talk to Moon and see if she still wants these two together, and whether or not Rui would join Ayame's tribe.

I really like these two together, and I think Zanshin does too. Their roleplay is just moving a little slow cause it's a bit emotional.

Hmmmm. Well like I mentioned Ep is a family guy. I really need to update the personality bits in there, I just keep seeming to get distracted >.< So Amy's most likely a no. Basicly I'd want him to crack with someone looking to raise a family and who isn't weirded out by the "not mates" thing they'd have. Ep would be perfectly willing to accept the parent of his children as part of his family. Dunno whether Riku'd be willing to do that or not.

Crikey! It's a new plot! Your fox :: Stan or ToxMy fox ::Avatre Mate, Crack, Other? Waz up? :: Hoping for mates but cracking would be fine Show me the plot! :: We'll start with Stan. He is an easy going guy not bossy at all. He flirts alot but in a joking manner. He is smart but has a bad sense of direction unless he has been to the place many times so he stumbles onto new places all the time. So I see them having a run in and Stan insisting on striking up a conversation maybe them fall into a little trouble and than we will see where it goes from there? For Tox well he is very clumsy and tends to get hurt from time to time. He gets a bit grumpy because he is annoyed with himself because of his clumsiness. I see them being maybe in a canyon and him tripping and tumbling into her. Banging them both up in the process him more so than her. He'd be urged with himself and grumbling about this and that than asking her if she is okay and so on.

Avatre's not big on forests (unless they're ancient with huge, spaced apart trees), but she's a good healer and knows her plants.

Avatre's not big on forests (unless they're ancient with huge, spaced apart trees), but she's a good healer and knows her plants. That would work an old ancient forest. I could see him tripping over a root and just tumbling crashing into her.
