 Don’t judge a book by its cover or the wearing on its spine. ~Angelica Rene Dumonte~ The blond girl found her way to the recreation room on the campus and decided it would be a relaxing place to read her novel. Since Agatha and her had a difference of interest, she knew she needed a break from the pinkette's company. Angelica spotted a barren couch in the corner of the room by the window with the rays of sunlight coming in beautifully. Looking at the clock, she realized she had a few hours until supper would be served and she would need to head back. Still, it was time to relax and take a few deep breaths. Sitting on the couch, Angel put her fingers to her soft pink lips and her eyes grew dim. How could someone not want to try and find love with someone new? What did I do to make her want to push me away... It must be my fault and she's being too nice to not blame me. Who could just simply not be interested in the thing most women lust after? A soft sigh echoed from her lips and she looked down at her book.
The Crazy Thing Called Love. What a title for her first day here as a student. She had picked up the book last week and was hoping she never would have to read something like this on a day like today. Still, Angel always stuck to her planned reading list, no matter what drama occurred. She swished her hair over her shoulder and tucked it behind her small ears opening her book to the first page. So many thoughts were buzzing in her head, making it hard to concentrate. After twenty mins of silently trying to read over the content, the blond gave up and closed the book, not even managing to surpass twelve pages of worthwhile knowledge. She slumped back on the couch and looked out the window, waiting to see if anyone might venture into the rec room to give her some company.
At first glance, even a diamond is concealed under a layer of coal.
