Personality: If you were to sum Rylee up in one word, it would be "tomboy". She loves athletics, loves to play, loves to roughhouse, loves to get physical. Whether it be racing or playing catch or playing tag, if it involves getting up and getting moving, Rylee loves it all.
Biography: Rylee grew up in a family with literally nothing but other females: two mothers, five sisters. It's possible Rylee developed her tomboy personality in response to what she saw as the "girly girly overload" of her family. Another familial struggle she faced was growing up with two sets of twins: being a singlet herself, she felt excluded from her four twinned sisters sometimes. Thus she became closest with Renata, the other singlet in her family. Despite these conflicts, she does love her whole family. They just...get on her nerves sometimes.
The first friend she made outside of her family was a male 'phim named Orin. While she had lots of fun playing catch with him (something her girly sisters never seemed to want to do), he was over-affectionate, constantly calling her things like "sweetheart", which bothered her.

Personality: While Kalevi had ever reason in the world to go through life paranoid (coming from Elementum Gens, or The Tribe Of The Never Ending Civil War), Lakevi...doesn't. Despite living in the peace of Solarie, Lakevi too views the world as a threat; that he must do unto others, before they do unto him. But, since he lacks practice in actually having to protect himself against outside threats, he does poorly at this. Quite poorly. Much to his father's shame.
Biography: Was born. Formed massive rivalries with Calanthe. Tries to follow his father's advice. Does poorly. Kalevi wonders where the hell he went wrong with this one.
Basically he needs someone to come around and get his head straightened out. Maybe his mother, maybe his Elder, maybe a friend. Basically, he needs an intervention, one that his father can't provide. Because, at the end of the day, although Kalevi can put up with (and maybe even somewhat trust) his family, he can't quite bring himself to tell Lakevi that he needs to be less paranoid or that he needs to trust more (or rather, be more sensible about both). It just runs too contrary to Kalevi's nature to do so.
And so here we have Lakevi, a little bit crazy in the head, and at least one family member completely unable to help.
