Amrita had looked on, horrified, as the boil - whose name she never learned - had exploded. Shortly after, something was...doing something to her leg. That was about as much as she could take from this event, especially with the cowardice that was settling over her for the first time in a very long time; she left the party then, but didn't go home.
She sat outside of the doors, fidgeting with the hem of her dress. No, she couldn't go back to her dorm room without...hee. Well, she couldn't go alone! And not without figuring...things out! Too much was swimming in her head! Too many things wiggling around in her thoughts, distracting her so badly she didn't even notice when the party ended, or when people started filtering out.

Christof had been upset when they had refused to let him help clean up, saying the gnomes (and some other student volunteer or what-have you) would tend to it.
Which left no more excuses not to go search for Amrita. With the 'healing' arrow of the gnome attack force, not only did all of the odd drunken compulsions faded, but so had his courage.
But... well. he was mostly in order again, if a bit tottery, but... but he did want to make sure she had a good time.
He waited, searched around, but she was no where to be seen. Finally, the gnomes had shoo-ed him out, and he had no choice but to hobble home on his own. Maybe she had already gone as well-
He stopped short, brows raised in panic. Hell's Bells there she was aaaah....

It was the eventual lack of noise that caught her attention. The rowdy party noises and the sounds of those leaving had faded, and the rather odd silence was almost startling. Not that she had too much time to enjoy the silence, as one last person seemed to leave the party; even then it took her a few moments of staring at his back to process what was happening. He...seemed to be looking for someone. Maybe...maybe he was looking for...? Oh dear Jack that thought made her swell with glee!
"Christof...!" She called out to him, climbing back to her feet and straightening out her dress. "Are...Are you going back? Can I---" A few shy steps were taken towards him, her gaze sheepishly to the right and her fingers threading through the dark, lazy curls in her hair. "Um, come with you?"

He twisted his hands, blushing bashfully as she approached before pursing his stitched lips and giving a grunt and a nod. "Had-hoped..." he started to sign before feeling nervous again, but quickly finished diligently, "to-find-you. Had-good-time-I-hope?" He added quickly with a shy smile.

"I couldn't leave without..." Nnnn that felt weird to say outloud! Nevermind, back into her mentalspace you go, comment! "Oh yes, I had fun!" Sure there were spots she didn't like - namely the end - or others she wasn't too keen on, like Christof punching her friend. But on the whole? It was a good night! "You? I...I hope you weren't too busy...!" She would have liked to see more of him, but so long as he had a good time she'd be happy for him anyway. Gray eyes moved along the path that would lead them back to their dorms, and she gestured towards it.
"Shall we? Um...U-unless you need to go elsewhere...?" Amrita did her best to not seem too pleading, but...she really didn't want him to have to go somewhere else, especially to the Demon Dorms. Not tonight! Not when there was still so much to ask or say!

"Not-too-busy. Could-have-done-more. Tried-to-stay-useful. Broke-up-some-fights. Went.... strange." His face flushed as he rubbed his abused stitches, "Not-good-dancer." He shuddered, his stomach churning. What... on earth had gotten into him? Gnome arrows, apparently. "Would-have-liked," He signed before realizing what he was 'saying', "spend-more-time-with-you."

"I think we all did..." Amrita murmured unhappily; strange was certainly one word for it! Terrible, terrible. "No?" Not a good dancer? Huh. She seemed to remember him as being okay! She was a terrible dancer! At least he was good enough to teach her 'the creep'!
"A-ah! I...I would have liked that, too!" Be still, my heart! Granted the physical heart had not moved, but she certainly felt something akin to a flutter in there! An undead-fresh blush crept onto her cheeks, her gaze dropping again. She tucked some loose hair behind her ear in a fidget of a gesture as she spoke. "W-we could...always spend time now...?" Her blush only got deeper at her suggestion, feeling both hopeful and incredibly awkward. Nobody was there to tell her if she was doing this right or not!
"ifyou'renotbusy." She added as a quick afterthought, her hands squeezing together in front of her, her eyes on the ground and her lips pressed into a squirming, shy line.

"Not-busy..." Christof fidgeted, "But-tired. Need-to-mend-stitching. Had-few-accidents," Beyond just the torn and pinned face, apparently. He smiled in embarrassment. "Could.... help?" He offered, already starting his slow, limping walk.

"Accidents? What accidents? What happened?" She parroted, already moving after him and his shuffle. Now that he mentioned it...he was limping a little differently, wasn't he? "I will help!" She agreed easily, falling into step beside him. Every hobbling step was watched with a strange curiousity. "Did you...need help walking?" Helping someone walk wasn't that hard, but...if he wanted to 'talk' as they did, that would be difficult, right?

Christof shifted, looking embarrassed, "Can-walk. Thank-you," He added bashfully before trying his best to hide his weak stitching. "Might-need-replacement-parts. Could-help-with-that..." His hands moved to tug at his thorn-ripped jacket before adding in, "If-you-like."

"You're...really going to let me help...?" She stared at him for a moment as though she didn't believe what she had heard, wide-eyed in surprise.
....OuO!!!!!!
Suddenly, Amrita was all smiles. All of them. Practically beaming with pride. He was going to let her help with replacement parts?! That was...that was such an honor! Like a kid being told they could use the knives on their own...or whatever it was that kids liked doing that was rarely done.
"I would love to!" She squeaked out, much louder than she meant to. So excited! He was going to let her help! Best day ever! "Um...can I stay over tonight, too?" She inquired slowly, hesitantly; he was already letting her do something so awesome, she just couldn't help but push her luck! "Please...?"

There was a few moments of silence as he concentrated on walking, brain spinning at how out of control the evening seemed to becoming. He grunted acknowledgment, hurrying up his pace.
She was.... coming back. To... to help him with his parts... and... and she would probably want him to... to check his stitches and.. and then... spend the night and... He swallowed heavily, gripping his jacket tighter. The undead dorms were creeping up on them. So close. So close and then... and then they would be...

Amrita took his grunt as a 'SURE, YOU CAN STAY!' and thus spent the rest of the trip back to his dorm practically sparkling in Undead joy. Helping. She was going to help! And spend the night! Helping! Heeee----wait. Wait. Spend the night...?! Oh...Oh dear Jack... The last time she stayed over was a ball of stress for the both of them, she was sure of it!
Her stomach started churning as they entered the Undead Dorms in silence, navigating the hallways to come to his room. Outside of his door she paused, going to let him take over the lead again; it was his room after all. His own space! "R-ready?" She squeaked out, nervously threading her fingers through her hair. Helping, she was going to help! With his parts. In his room. overnight. The ghoul didn't know much, but she knew this was all cause to be nervous; besides, he always made her feel that way! It was nice, but...so much stress.

Christof was flushing hotly as he moved about the room, casually greeting Scruff (who was looking so much fatter than usual, it was startling), before shrugging out of his coat and carefully unbuttoning the flap on his vest for his little wing before shrugging out of that as well. He swallowed. He'd have to... get undressed in front of her, wouldn't he? Bother.
"Do-need-pajamas?" He signed anxiously, "Could-lend-something. If-you-don't-want-to-change-in-your-room." To illustrate, he nervously went to his dresser to pull out one of his older button-up shirts that would still be big on her, but had at least the right number of sleeves. There was a hole cut for his extra appendages, but it would still do, he'd hope.

Amrita trailed after him, but she lingered longer at Scruff than Chris did; not that it was entirely uncommon for her to do, really. She got down on her knees to pet the overly (And alarmingly) fat minipet, looking mighty worried over the creature. The vetala ruffled the Scareon's neckfur and moved to rub-scratch at the rotund belly.
"Lookit you, so big!" She keened out, making poor Scruff look even more scruffy. She missed most of what he had signed to her, catching on at the "change in your room" and the introduction of a two-sleeved, two-extra hole'd shirt. The ghoul stayed on her knees near Scruff, but looked mightily pouty.
"Can I change in here? Please?" And cue the big, pleading eyes; DC was getting attached to her again, and that prompted all sorts of problems, including the destruction of her bedspread by naughty little Death Charm. "O-Or in the hallway! Just...just not my room. Please?" Don't make her leeeeeave ;;
