This is a semi-ORP race for those that participated with a powered character in the Meteor Shower ORP (sorry civvies). Because it is a race, both sides (Chaos/Order) have an equal number of players to insure an equal chance for either side to get the meteor. Unfortunately, not all characters were chosen in order to keep the numbers even with 8 VS 8. This race will run at a leisurely pace with one or two new roll-prompts every day for 5 days. If you miss one roll prompt, you can roll later in order to catch up. How to Play Roll TWO 20-sided dice. The first number will be your speed/score. The second number will be a deduction from that score, representing your character’s ability to dodge obstacles. Your score can not go into the negatives, if you end up with a negative number or 0, you may just add 1 point to your score. Please keep track of your total score at the top or bottom of your post. The Players Characters: Chaos: - 8 Benitonite Sailor Thule Mica Fukalite Hazenite Remarque Lesath Gypsum Order: - 8 Chibi Oberon Chibi Hypnos Babylon Minkowski Ganymede Athene Tomlin Maia

You have entered the nature park’s forested area, through whatever means you needed to. The draw was simply too much, you just need to get to this thing. After finding a secure spot, you’ve powered up. Upon your transformation, you’re hit with an overwhelming sense of power near by. It’s power that cannot be placed easily however. It does not feel like anything you’ve encountered before, not a senshi, nega, knight or cat. The power itself does not even feel abundantly chaotic or order-like. All you know is that you feel inherently drawn to it. You hazard a guess that it must be coming from the fallen meteor. You must find it and, perhaps, collect it for study or even use it for your own ends. There’s no telling what awaits you at the crash site, but you want it (whatever it is) and badly.
The forest is dark, and there is little light to guide the way through the trees. As you struggle to climb over roots and duck under branches you start to notice other shapes and forms moving as well, along with other power signatures. You are not alone.
That’s it! It’s a race to get to the object as fast as you can, before an enemy can. If you can manage not to trip and avoid all these trees and branches as you run!

After Ainsley had run off from her guardian cat Cora (very wise Ainsley, very wise) and found a safe place to power up, Hypnos sort of regret leaving the cat behind to watch their things in all the excitement. It was kind of dark in the forest and it wasn't really getting any lighter the further she went in. She had been going pretty fast and that may have been the downfall to begin with because almost shortly after that the small senshi had found herself becoming a tree's target and that tree did not need practice.
"Ow," she whispered to herself, trying to continue on anyways. She had to be strong, there was a fallen star with her name on it and she had told Cora she was going to get it for them and by golly if that meant having to get hit by a few tree branches then so be it! However, she hadn't expected there to be competition, but she could sense people around her. This wasn't good! That was her fallen staaaaaar, it was going to bring her a prince!

Immediately upon powering up, Remarque did not regret his decision to steal Raven into the forest in an effort to investigate this thing. The surge of power he felt captivated and entranced him, and though he could vaguely feel the aura of others around, his mind had wrapped solely around discovering what this object was—and obtaining it.
He had glanced to Lesath when they were both powered up and offered her a challenge—“Keep up. If you can,” before he ran from her side. Rationalization, for the most part, failed him. The logical thing to do would have been to just let the others handle it—what did he care what fell from the sky?—but now that he had invested himself in this, he wasn’t going to just give up.
Curiosity had long since been a downfall of his, even if he wasn’t willing to admit it.
As he ran through the forest, he chastised himself; though he seemed to be keeping up a fair enough pace, the slapping of branches and twigs against his skin was starting to sting. Though boxing had left him with fancy footwork, he was not a hiker and this terrain was quickly frustrating him. Remarque was not a quitter, however, and his sheer willpower and unwillingness to give up was what drove him to dart deeper into the forest.

Raven followed Jett into the forest, powering up almost at once, and struggling to follow him. She ran as fast as she could, though it seemed she hit each and every root that was under her feet, tripping and stumbling. Within moments, Jett was far in front of her.
The blonde super senshi gave a little pout, trying to go after him, not wanting to get separated from her Remarque.
She hadn't expected it to be so difficult though!

Ganymede had no idea why he was doing this. He supposed it had seemed like a good idea at the time. It had been a bit of a spontaneous decision, and while part of him was still battling with the rest of him to turn around and high tail it out of there, the braver part of his brain or heart or conscience—or whatever the hell it was that caused him to do this—made the attempt seem imperative.
One second he’d been standing next to Chris, struggling to understand what was going on, and the next his eyes locked on Peter in the distance and he just knew the little brat was going to make a go for it.
So he did the responsible thing and shoved the dog’s leash into Chris’s hand and ran after the little brat before he could get too far.
Only it was kind of dark and there were trees everywhere, and after he’d managed to transform he had no idea where he was going, nor could he really make out any of the other figures traipsing through the forest around him. He could sense them, though, and he could sense what was up ahead, even if he had no idea what it was.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t sense the trees.
He stumbled over a few roots, ran into a couple of unforgiving trunks, and generally made things far more difficult for himself than they needed to be.

Nyasa ducked behind a tree and after checking around her, quickly powered up. As Captain Mica, she could sense several energy signatures, and she joined them in the rush towards the meteor, hoping that even if she couldn’t reach it first, one of her comrades would. And it was a good thing that Mica wasn’t determined to be first herself, because her urban heritage made itself known soon enough. She could dash about on cement and rooftops all night long, but trees were proving to be troublesome. In particular, her long, flapping coat had an unfortunate tendency to snag on branches, slowing Mica down considerably.

So maybe running through the woods, unable to see anything, was stupid but he needed to get to that meteor. As soon as he'd powered up, which he'd done as soon as he'd cleared the line of trees into the forest, he felt it - other signals of power. Stronger than anything he felt though was something he couldn't call light or dark. it just - was. It was power, it was a lot of power.
Spying some shadow moving through the woods he wondered just how many would be involved in this before the night was over, how many powered individuals would show up after this. Shaking his head he ducked just in time to miss the branch aimed for his face. He didn't however miss the roots or other branches. His coat got caught, his hair as well, and he face planted more than once. This was really not his idea of how best to get to the crash site, this was how to best attempt to kill himself via accident.
Picking himself up off the ground he dusted himself off even as he started again toward that power.

Hazenite, after finding a good dark spot to power up in, was now streaking through the forest like a boss. He felt that immense power and he just knew ... he just KNEW ...
THIS WAS A BOSS FIGHT.
He was going to take this sucker down. Just one hit from his mighty ... mouse ... and all the boss' glorious loot would be his. +5 AGT boots, here he comes.
Except you know ... Hazenite wasn't all that graceful. There was a reason he did theatre, and not sports. The second he started running through the forest, he tripped over a branch and was down from the get go.

Just stunning.

Anming felt bad for ditching Gwendolyn again- she really did. She was pretty sure that that poor excuse she had come up with for leaving would catch up with her eventually, but she had to check out the forest, and see the meteor. She wasn't quite sure why, necessarily, but she just... had to.
So once the teen had found a safe place to transform, Minkowski continued on her way into the forest, trying her best to keep from tripping over any branches or roots. The senshi of butterflies could sense other power signatures as well... but she had no idea where they were.
And unfortunately, for all her caution, it just wouldn't do any good to go running through a dark forest, for Minkowski soon found herself tripping.
... She didn't hurt herself, at least. She had to keep moving.

After parting company with Gigi, Arian had taken the opportunity to power up into Sailor Athene. Part of the dark-haired super senshi had felt a little guilty about the vague response he’d given his curly-haired friend before giving her the slip, but even though he was curious about the meteor, it didn’t mean that Athene wanted to drag Gigi into anything that was potentially dangerous.
As Athene tried to make his way through the trees he could sense something powerful, strong – really strong. Too bad that poor night vision made getting through the trees a difficult and the dark-haired teen found himself tripping a couple of times over tree roots. Each time though the super senshi picked himself up and pressed on, curiosity making him feel like he had to reach the site where the meteor fell.

Maia frowned feeling the odd power signature and knowing, feeling somehow that she had to get to the meteor. She moved forward intent on doing just that after having made her way into the forest, but it became apparent very quickly that she needed to rethink her strategy. It was dark and she could barely see, which in turn meant in just two minutes she had tripped over a several roots and been scratched by several branches.
She was essentially moving at a turtles pace and quickly becoming frustrated. "This is ridiculous," she muttered to herself before hearing what she thought was a branch snapping. That got her attention and she looked around to see that she wasn't alone, others were attempting to get to the meteor and they weren't all on her side.
She wondered momentarily if she would try to stop those who felt like chaos, but she doubted she could even get near them going as she was. No for now she had to keep moving forward, get a feel for what she was doing and get to the meteor.

Oberon powered up the moment he could, slipping into the trees of the forest and out of Iouri's and Haven's reach. Yeah, sure... Haven would probably tattle on him, but he was only with Chris and Paris, so it wasn't like they were going to do anything, right??
He could feel the energy from the meteor, and it was something... well... out of this world! He'd never felt anything like it in his... relatively short time as a senshi, but he had a feeling that the others around him hadn't felt anything like this, either. It was mysterious and drew him in and... he had to reach it.
Of course, there was a small 'ow' that got his attention, and he glanced over to where a familiar looking girl had gotten hurt.
"Hypnos??" he sputtered, hurrying over to her and reaching out to take her hand so she wouldn't fall... or run into any other trees. "Careful where you're going!" he gently scolded, more concerned for her safety than wanting to upset her. "What do you think all these people want with the meteor?? Do you think it's magical?? I bet that's why everyone seems to want it. It should probably go into a museum, but I still want to touch it, first! I'm glad it didn't hit anyone, or at least it doesn't seem like it hit anyone. Come on, we should go check it out!" he rambled, completely forgetting that she would have absolutely no idea who he was! She only knew him as Peter! Not as a senshi like herself!

After a few minutes of trampling around in the forest, Hayden figured now was a good spot to power up in. She sighed, one hand on her hips as she flipped her ponytail over her shoulders. The overwhelming aura of power was too obvious for the lieutenant to not spot. Probably even the densest of officers could sense it. It was a suspicious sensation, though. It didn’t have the reassuring chaotic feel of an officer or DMC senshi nor did it have the disgusting pure sense of a White moon senshi or knight. It was just…power. Fukalite attempted to look toward the vicinity of the meteor. Was the signature coming from the meteor? Regardless, she was going to head for the source. She hopped over roots and ducked under way-too-low branches, but then her senses picked up other power signatures. The flitting shadows in the trees confirmed her fears—she hadn’t been the only powered being to attend the meteor shower event.
Lips twisted into a scowl as she attempted to pick up the pace, but it seemed to only do her a disservice. She hissed, sucking in her breath to hold back a frustrated cry whenever she tripped over roots or bumped into pieces of bark that scratched her skin. Fukalite took a moment to force herself to calm down, taking in a few deep breaths. Once she settled her emotions she calmly walked toward the source.

Thule was on the move, she wanted to see what the rock was but she still wasn't feeling amazingly well and she had picked the worst path in the world to run down. She could feel the power but more depressingly she could feel the power of the white mooners and that just made her angry. Why weren't there mirrors here! Why hadn't they been here before! It would make life much easier if you could just jump through a mirror and be there!
She slowed down as she hit the worst part of her path yet. She had to find a way around. There were nothing but brambles in the way and she wasn't in any mood to be bleeding all over the place.
That rock had to mean something. She wanted to know what.
