Ever since receiving that one message, Shun had been a little on the distracted side. There was some suspicion on what the Family was doing, but what was bothering him more was the fact that Mitsu was on the list. He still needed to do something about this. For now, this had meant fabricating her schedule, along with the other person he was supposed to figure things out for. He was far too distracted to have really done that.
From there, he'd figure things out. But, he was going to have to visit his father to deliver the information tonight anyway.
With the information tucked away into his pocket, he was getting ready to head on out. But pretty soon, Mitsu would be coming. There was that thought of going ahead and leave, but that may mean she would try and find him, and potentially even manage to follow him. That wasn't something he wanted right now. He had to think fast.

It had been hard to make heads or tails of Shun's behavior in the last couple of days. He had seemed distracted, almost distant. Mitsu could tell he was worried about something but the details never came. She would ask what was wrong and he would talk but never really answer. It was like he was avoiding the question all together, but when he reassured her it was fine she nodded and left it at that. She still couldn't help this nagging feeling though but what could she do? He said he wouldn't keep things from her and Mitsu very much wanted to believe him.
As she usually did most evenings, Mitsu made her way to the reaper dorms to check in on her reaper. She called ahead of time to see if he was in, pleased to hear his voice on the phone. That meant he was still there and hadn't gone off on a job on his own. He promised he wouldn't keep her in the dark and it seemed he was holding up to his word. Perhaps she was just over thinking things? It was possible recent events had just made her too paranoid.
Slow with the stairs Mitsu finally made it to Shun's room, a brisk knock signaling her arrival. Without further hesitation she took hold of the knob and turned it to let herself in.
"Shun?" She called peeking her head in.

Hearing the knock at his door, Shun glanced up to see Mitsu stepping on in.
"Hey," he greeted. He.. kind of had a plan of action on how to go about this. It didn't sit completely well with him, but this was definitely for the better as far as he was concerned.
"How are you?" he asked, while trying to gauge exactly how he was going to initiate the little issue at hand. There were little subtle things about him that made him seem distracted. To most people he likely would have appeared how he normally did.

Quickly Mitsu stepped through the door and closed it behind herself, a warm smile there to greet Shun pleased to see him still here. "I'm good."
She paused in her step forward, her eyes taking in Shun and his subtle mannerisms and body language. She was keen on the small things and she would like to think that she knew him fairly well at this point. "Something is still bothering you." She stated simply, her brows creasing with worry wondering what it could be.

Letting out a sigh, Shun shifted before focusing on the girl. She was pretty good at telling when something was up with him nowadays.
"You're right," he finally said, though he didn't sound very pleased, "I know I said I wouldn't keep you out but.. this is something I don't want you following me on. I have to go meet with my father soon on the outskirts of town. I don't want you to be there."
There were a few reasons for this. One being that she was apparently a target for whatever reason. The other being that he did not want Kaitou and Mitsu to be anywhere near one another if he could help it.

And just like that the information he had been holding back was granted. How easily it had been obtained and Mitsu had to wonder why he was telling her now. "What's so bad about me coming along? I can keep back to where he can't see me." She tried to reassure.
Yes, she still wanted to come along. She still wanted to be there encase something bad happened. If she could prevent even the smallest thing from happening to her reaper that's all she could hope for.

"He won't be alone. There will be people stationed around the place. I don't know how many, or where they will be. But he could easily have twenty men with him. Staying hidden will not be easy and quite frankly it'll put you in more danger than you need to be in. You do not want to mess with him," he said darkly, "It is not worth getting yourself mixed in with that many people around. There's not telling what they might do to you."
Shun went over to the teapot to get some water going. Perhaps he was getting some tea made to help calm nerves or whatever.
"I didn't want to tell you, but I realized if I didn't you'd probably find some way to follow me anyway, which would only lead to a bigger mess. No doubt I'd take some heat too for letting someone follow me there."

Mitsu didn't care about the danger. She didn't care there could possibly be a lot of people around or that she could get caught. The lycan just wanted to make sure her reaper would be okay. Her own safety didn't really register. It was only when Shun mentioned that he could get in trouble as well that she mentally faltered. She did not want him to pay the price for her involvement.
Now Mitsu was unsure what to do, her eyes widening as that familiar since of panic hit her. Was she going to be so worthless again? Sitting here in the dorm wondering if Shun was okay or not? Her hands began to clench and unfurl as her mind tried to come up with a plausible solution. How could this work out and no one get in trouble? For no one would get hurt? She was coming up with nothing and it left her shaking as helplessness started to creep in.
"B..But I can't just stay here.." She tried to protest. "How will I know you are okay?" Mitsu wanted to cling to him, grip his arms and refuse to let go so that he either had to take her or not go at all. She was stronger by far even if she was small. The problem would be his teleporting. As her brain started to process plan B another question came to mind. "W...why is your father here anyway? Doesn't he live really far away?"

"I will be ok," Shun insisted. Well, he didn't know that for certain. But he didn't want Mitsu throwing herself into the fire to save him from a back hand or something like that.
"And I don't know why he's here. Apparently whatever deal is going on, it was important enough for him to come around. I don't know the details," he said, which was true. Which had him wonder just what this deal was. Normally things would be done back in the city, but that wasn't the case here.
Pouring the tea, he paused, and grabbed another cup and teabag to fill.
"Look. As far as I know, I'm not in any trouble right now. As long as I lay low while I'm there, I will be fine. If there's enemies about, we have numbers on our side."

She wanted to believe him, oh jack she wanted to believe him but she was so worried. Mostly because she knew a little of Shun's past history with his father. The scars that littered his body were proof of the uncaring hand his parent had dealt him.
It looked like the lycan was trying to form words, her mouth opening but helplessly closing shortly after. Her hand took hold of the bottom of her dress, gripping the fabric tightly in an attempt to hold onto something. She didn't look entirely convinced that he would be unharmed. "C...can't I just casually stroll near by? You could always call for help if you need it and that way I will be near. Surely they won't think I'm too out of place?" Mitsu didn't realize how out of place she often looked in a normal setting sometimes, let alone someplace meant for dealings in the underworld. She was desperate though, grasping at straws hoping one would have the answer.

Staring at her, Shun furrowed his brow. If he thought that would work, he might have let her come along. But, she did stick out quite a bit. The warehouse was some distance away and it just wouldn't be very likely for anyone to be having a casual stroll around it.
"I don't know," he sighed while taking the two cups of tea, offering one to Mitsu, "Maybe... but either way this is.. not good for the nerves. Here."

He said maybe, so there was a possibility it could work. She just had to strive to get him to agree and help her make a plan. Together they could do it surely.
For the first time Mitsu noticed the tea. Through her worry and fretting she had failed to notice him preparing it. Grateful she took the cup, giving a nod before she took a sip. It was good and oddly familiar. This wasn't the normal green tea mixture he usually brewed but Mitsu was certain she had tasted this before. Taking another sip she tried to place it having a hard time coming up with where she might have had it before. She was almost certain it had been here.
Another drink and the cup was almost empty when the light bulb went off but sadly it was too late. Mitsu could already feel the fit of lethargy over taking her limbs, wide confused eyes turning to Shun. This was Xiu's tea, the tea she made to help Mitsu and others fall to sleep. It did its job and often too well. Mitsu knew now that Shun never intended for her to come along. Should she feel betrayed?
"S...Shun?" Her voice sounded hurt but her expression was still filled with worry as the cup dropped from her hands her limbs giving out as she collapsed forward. For her Xiu's tea did its job a little too well, taking a moment to kick in and then hitting her hard. As she started toward the floor she was already sleep, if she hit she would never know. Mitsu was out like a light.

The tea he had for himself was normal, so nothing happened when he took a sip. Though, he quickly noticed Mitsu was getting hit with the effect with Xiu's tea pretty hard. Shun set down his cup before reaching out to catch the girl. It didn't take much to notice she was already asleep.
Letting out a sigh, he scooped her up before placing her on the bed, gently tucking her in.
"I hope you can forgive me for this... but I don't want my father to be anywhere near you," he whispered quietly, before planting a kiss to her forehead. It made him feel bad, really. But this was the best way in his mind to make sure she wouldn't be following him. That and she wouldn't be worrying.
After watching over her for a few moments, he made his way on out the room. He'd clean up the tea later on.

It took him some time, but Shun had managed to make his way to the warehouse without any further incident. Mitsu was going to be very unhappy with him when she woke up, he could sense that much. Frowning at that thought, he just moved onward until he was where he needed to be. There were a few associates around, and he could spot his father speaking with one or two of them.
Off to the side, were two figures blindfolded and bound. It didn't take much for him to realize it was the two he gathered schedule information on awhile back.
Not saying anything just yet, he made his way over.

A small figure, slipped into the warehouse, what lighting there was quickly revealed the new arrival to be a fairly young male vampire. Possibly a student? The small glowing pendant on his chest indicated otherwise. His movements were neither hurried or cautious, and his eyes slowly scanned the warehouse as he approached Kuroda.
No greeting was offered, no pleasantries, or small talk.
