Sayoko had awoke well before dawn or so had been her guess because it was still dark outside. Her eyes scanned the area and then they rested on the little black and purple bundle of fur laying beside her. Akira was snoring quite loudly and she was amazed that the little bear could sleep through his snores, what was more is that she could sleep through it. She giggled to herself softly and then slowly tried to stand up, even as slowly as she moved, the little bear fell against the ground where her body had once been, she winced when she thought he might wake but he continued to snore.
Her hooves moved quietly away from the little bear but as she was looking over her shoulder, she wasn't watching where she was heading and walked right into a tree. The heavy thud seemed to echo into the little space, she closed her eyes and held her breathe as pain shot through her head and down her spine. A disgruntled growl came from the bear as little gray eyes opened and locked onto Sayoko. The bear got to his feet and tumbled towards his companion. He just stared at her with his head cocked to the side staring at her with curiosity set on his face. Once the pain cleared she looked down to her side and saw that the little bear was in fact awake. "Good morning Akira." She smiled down at him but then frowned when she realized how tired he was, the little bear was yawning at her.
"Would you like to ride on me today, I think I'll take a flight?" She asked it in question because she knew that it wouldn't be comfortable for the tired little bear to run below her as fast as she could fly. The bear nodded and then pawed at his face as if to wipe away the sleep that plagued him. Sayoko grinned at her cute little bear and got down low to the ground so that the bear could climb aboard. "I promise I'll fly slow so I won't loose you." She didn't know what she would do if she lost Akira, she would be ever so lonely. With enough words lost and the day burning away, she outstretched her wings and with one single thought, they began to flap furiously. Within seconds, the duo was up into the air and was going higher and higher so that she could clear the lines of the trees. They both enjoyed the breeze when they were in the sky but she knew better than to get carried away, she began to fly slowly and gently as possible with the bear on her back.
