"WAAAAAAAAHHHH!" H screamed as he woke up, he opened his eyes wide and noticed he was surrounded by darkness. He remembered where he was and realized he had just woken up the entire castle again. When H heard footsteps he peeked out of the closet he had been sleeping in and noticed two men entering the room.
"Lord N, are you alright?" The man on the left asked. The men were both wearing a white coat and blue gloves and boots. "We heard you scream, did you have a nightmare again?"
H smiled, they had not realized it was not N who had screamed and did his best to remain quiet so the men would not notice he was there.
"I am fine" N said.
"You can leave now." The men looked at each other with an uneasy look on their faces but then nodded. "Of course, lord N, please call us when you need something else." With that they turned around and left the room.
When the sound of their footsteps had disappeared N looked at the closet H had been sleeping in.
"You can come out now, they are gone" He whispered. H climbed out of the closet and looked at N, who stared back at him with a curious look.
Yes, I had a nightmare again, and no, I don't remember it." Ever since H first woke up in the castle he had been having nightmares, not every night but still often enough to cause a serious loss of sleep. First time he had the nightmare he had been saying names in his sleep, N had only been able to understand a few and of those names only one had been recognized by H, Haru. N did not think H would be saying his own name in his sleep so decided just to call the boy H.
"I think you should leave this place." N suddenly said.
"They cannot know you are here and with those nightmares you have it will be impossible to hide you for much longer." H wanted to protest but then realized N was right. N had explained he was barely allowed to have contact with other humans and if the people in the castle would find H he was not sure what they would do to him.
"But where do I have to go?" H asked.
"I don't know anyone who can help me, I am all alone." "There is a city a few miles away from here." N said.
"I have never been there but I heard those men talk about it, I showed you the big building near the mountain, from there you can go through the mountain towards the city, or at least, that is what the man said." Suddenly N's face became sad.
"I already told you that all other humans treat pokémon very badly, but I am sure they will help another human." H sighed.
"You are right, if those men find me we will be in big trouble." H hesitated for a moment and then continued.
"I can't stay here forever, I will have to leave sometime. Then that might as well be today." "It's settled then, tomorrow, before the sun rises we get up and I will help you get out of here." N said.
"It was nice having some company but leaving is the best thing you can do now." H noticed the sad expression on N's face and suddenly felt very sad himself. Not knowing what to say he just turned around and went back into the closet, but before he closed the doors he looked at N,who was getting into bed himself.
"Thank you."
