League Trainer Rosie

The walk fro the hustle and bustle of Camphoreon to the outskirts of the city was a great way to warm up Rosie though. It was an easy enough trail, and she always enjoyed watching how the scenery around gradually changed from buildings to open trails and hills around them.

Dressed in her training outfit, giving clear indication what she was out on the field for today, the young women with blond hair paused just as she started to see the base of the Sky peak mountains, and took a moment to stretch an arm out, her smiling blue eyes admiring the towering landscape in the distance with renewed excitement.

It wouldn't be too long before she knew she would be getting a closer look of the mountains, becasue from here, the easiest way to get to Calamus Plains, currently the days destination for some serious training with her Pidgeot.

Speaking of the Bird, Rosie reached down and plucked up a Heal ball from her belt, letting the sphere roll in her palm and release the large pink feathered pokemon.

"Pidgeoooo" His wings spread wide when the light broke away from his form, glistening brown eyes found his trainer as he bowed his head down to greet her.

Luke had a Pidgeot of his own to train, and he was looking forward to working with Leste a little more. The bird had a kind disposition and was often eager to please, but she also had a bit of a lazy streak and a tendency for stubbornness in addition to her inexperience with battle. The runaway noble also had the thought that he could practice with the flying-type on the matter of riding. He remembered briefly taking transport on Rosie's Pidgeot and thought of it as an invaluable skill. Maybe she would have some recommendations on how to condition Leste for such a task...

The thoughts had Luke moving at a fairly quick pace, a slight excitement in his expression and in his step. These days he usually trained by himself, and while it was effective enough in its own right, he was eager to work with someone else again - especially if that someone was Rosie, who had first inspired him to begin taking training and battle seriously.

The familiar cry of a Pidgeot and the form of broad wings rising in the distance affirmed that Luke was still heading the right way, and, as he increased his gait to a light jog, it was not much longer before he joined the girl and her pokemon, raising a hand in greeting to accompany a simple "hey."

Between the low pleasant chirping from Perdy, the sound of footsteps drew Rosie's gaze, shortly followed by the Pidgeot's own.
Her face lit up when the familiar form, and voice of Luke greeted her attention.

She was expecting him here, so it wasn't a surprise to see him, but it always made her happy to see one of her friends, And she didn't get to see Luke as much as she liked, he often chose to train alone, so the fact that he was coming with her today couldn't make her more pleased.

Arms slipping down from around Perdy's neck, Rosie turned to fully face the other trainer as he caught up with them, her hands tucked behind her back.
"Hi Luke!" She greeted in return, "You ready to get to some tough training?" She asked with a grin, lifting a fist up by her head.

He gave a short nod to acknowledge Perdy before responding with a smile of his own, his posture shifting to reflect the confidence of his demeanor, "You know it!" A hand strayed to the pokeballs at his belt; his team as well had seemed to enjoy the idea of training with someone else when he'd told them - except Tenebrae, but it was hard to get Tenebrae excited over much of anything so that was to be expected.

Perdy replied with a click of his beak and a friendly chirp, always happy to see Luke, he liked Luke.

Rosie was looking forward to seeing how much Luke had improved with his pokemon training, while at the same time excited to show the young man just how far her and her own team had come.

She pulled the fist down, with a wider grin. both of her hands falling out beside her "The flight to the Plains will be a great warm up for the Pidgeot," she said, though mostly as she turned to Perdy, holding a hand out for him as the Pokemon reply with a deep stoop, his wings lifting out of the way to allow his trainer to climb on.
Before she did though, she glanced back over at her friend. "are you ready?" She asked, to make sure he didn't have something else he needed to do.

Nodding, he plucked the premier ball from the line and hit the release, allowing Leste to spread her broad wings. The Pidgeot cooed a polite hello to Perdy.

"Sure, good to go," he said, absently running a hand down the bird's neck before mirroring Rosie and climbing on between her wings. "Uh, me and Leste haven't done much flying though... so we may be a bit shaky." A simultaneous excuse for the poor performance he was grudgingly ready to give and a subtle request for advice on the task. Leste shifted her wings uncertainly as if to add merit to her trainer's words.

Once on Perdy's back, she took a moment as she tied her hair to keep it from flying around her face, to listen to Luke, and admire the beautiful Pidgeot that he had sent out.
Rosie wasn't the only one though, Perdy himself seemed to puff up a little more, and he returned the polite hello with another click of his beak, indicating a smile.

Rosie giggled at him, and ran a hand down the brightly colored feather crest.
She then shook her head, and glanced back to Luke. "So then the training starts now." she replied. "Would you be okay if I gave you some tips if I though they would help?"
She wasn't an expert or anything, but she had been riding Perdy for a lot longer then Luke had been flying, she felt she had a pretty good grasp of it.

If he wanted to figure it out himself, she would totally get it, But she would love to help if she could.

"Oh, uh, well sure," he agreed, his words half-hearted but his tone quite appreciative. It wasn't like he needed help or anything... just that Rosie was more experienced, so he didn't have any reason not to listen to her. Or that was the stupid excuse he gave himself, anyway. Stupid as it was, though, he couldn't seem to get away from the habit. Well, whatever.

A fingerless gloved hand lifted from Rosie, holding it out to Luke with a thumbs up.
"I bet you do fine!" she called to him afterwards with a laugh, then leaned forward to speak to Perdy.
"Alright! lets go!"

"Pidgooooo!" Perdy called in response, long, bright wings spreading out on either side of his body.
He hung there for a few seconds, waiting for The other Pidgeot to join him before his wings beat down hard a few times, and him, with his trainer climbed into the sky.

Rosie hung on tight with her thighs, a hand on either side of Perdy's thick neck, the feathers tickling her fingers as the wind whipped past them.
Perdy pulled them into long, wide circled in the air, gaining more altitude and trying to work his way into a formation with the other fliers.

Rosie leaned back a little, peering around the beating wings to see if she could catch sight of Luke and Leste so they could start out over the mountains.

Luke studied the trainer and pokemon pair as they alighted, then directed his attention to his own Pidgeot, "Okay, Leste, let's follow them."

The bird's response was hesitant at best, but she obediently beat her long wings until she was off the ground, pursuing the other flying-type at a careful pace. Luke, stifling a brief cry of surprise as the rush of motion threatened to push him from his perch, quickly readjusted his position to something more secure and comfortable. Leste seemed to appreciate the shift as well, and she fluttered her wings happily, if not a bit laboriously - the extra weight was a strange and difficult adjustment, and she quickly lost distance on the more experienced flyers.

Perdy and Rosie remained aware of the other pare, Rosie asking her flying partner to remain as close as he could to the other two, to make sure that they didn't feel rushed.
It was a little difficult for the flying type, especially with his trainer on his back to worry about, but he managed it the best he could.

Banking in toward the other trainer and his Pidgeot, Perdy let out a call to alert Leste of his presence so she wouldn't be surprised by it.

Rosie leaned forward, smiling brightly, "You guys are awesome!" She called to them. "Go with her movement, and trust her to know what to do!"

She loved flying, if not only to be in such a close, trusting relationship with her beloved pokemon, but because of the scenery of it.
Being so high, and watching something from so high, the mountains, the texture of the snow over the rock. slowly melting into thick forest and trail.
And then there was the wind, though it was a bit cool, there was nothing softer then this air rushing across her cheeks.

Luke nodded at Rosie's advice, relaying his understanding to Leste, "You heard her; just do what you think is best." It made sense, after all, to trust the thing that had had wings all its life to know flying inside and out. Luke was a little wary to invest that much trust in a pokemon that he hadn't known but for some months, but he didn't really have all that much choice in the matter now - they were already dangerously high above the ground.

Indeed, the scenery was almost startling in its sheer awesomeness. Certainly Luke had noticed the mountains and forests before and had appreciated their beauty, but never like this. He could only breathe out an impressed "damn," though the impressiveness ebbed away when he realized said scenery was coming closer; Leste was losing altitude. He patted her side in encouragement, "Come on, Leste, keep it up."

It was a lot of work to have that extra weight added onto their back, The Pidgeot are not automatically used to having a trainer to carry around, so Rosie wasn't too surprised to see that Leste starting to drift lower.

Her lips parted slightly, but a gentle smile feathered the corners of her lips when she saw Luke talking to his Pidgeot, and give her an encouraging pat.

Perdy didn't need to be told, since he was dipping down to keep in formation with the green Pidgeot, cocking his head to the side and watching her movements with careful brown eyes.
It could be dangerous if she got too close to the tree top.

The Pidgeot put all her focus into the task, but her stamina wasn't up to par with what was required of her. An uncomfortable "geooo" was her warning to her trainer that she wouldn't be able to keep it up quite as long as he asked of her. Luke caught onto this through the tone of her cry and the shift in her overall demeanor and called over the noise of the wind to Rosie, "Can we set down a while? I think Leste needs a break."

Rosie blinked when Luke looked over at her and called out over the rushing wind.
Able to catch what he was saying the blond nodded to show she understood, then leaned forward against Perdy to let him know to find a landing place.

Perdy slide his eyes to the side when Rosie spoke to him, giving a responding crow to show he understood and swooping low into a gradual dive, eyes scanning for a good place to land.

Once he seemed to find one, Rosie turned back to the green Pidgeot and red head trainer, waving a hand and pointing down to indicate where they could go.
