The Xavier Institute of Higher Learning 's address is 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center, located in the very northeast corner of Westchester County, New York, but the Marvelverse in an all-inclusive one, complete with parallel universes and all of our own surrounding galaxies.
In this particular time, we've seen an influx in the mutant population, more likely our means of finding these mutants and super-humans have gotten more efficient and therefore the Institute has recently expanded and needed to quickly hire a few more helping hands to educate the new recruits.
A majority of the new hires are around on a temporary basis, serving as long as they can as fine educators until other duty calls, while some, well, the institution would prefer not to have around at all.
Just as well, some of the Institution's alumni are working to not just educate their new student recruits, but some of the new teachers who are unfamiliar with the X-Men ways as well.

As mentioned before, there is an overall influx in the number of mutants and superhumans, which of course means that villainy is on the rise as well. Adding to the ranks of the already powerful and deadly foes our respective heroes face just means more trouble for the already established heroes.
So while some of our heroes are being tasked with training the new recruits with a good amount of their time, the rest of their time is spent either fighting a new wave of villains, or even bickering among one another.

Steve Rogers looked out over the auditorium now filling with young mutants and super-powered teens. He had of course volunteered when the academy issued a plea for new professors. They had also called the job a temporary one, he hoped that was certainly the case. The noise level was growing as the students were getting a glimpse of just who was on the stage. Heroes that many of them had only heard fantastic tale about throughout their childhoods were standing up before them. Of course, going to an established academy for the X-men, it was a guarantee to meet such mutants as Storm and Cyclops, but many of them never dreamed they would see Captain America, Iron Man, or any of the others so close, at least not so soon.
Steve kept his head held high and stood erect despite the fact that many of his colleagues were slouching from having had to stand there nearly all morning. He reminded Clint beside him to stand up straight with a simple glance. Of course, he was well acquainted with Clint, so his sternness did not mean much to the archer.
"Need somethin', Cap?" Clint Barton noted his former teammate's tendency to still feel as if he were the boss. Although it could be disputed whether or not he ever was, Clint would at least give him that, Steve had been the lynch pin in their team of Avengers. But that was over now, and somehow he had ended up on the same stage as Steve, looking over a crowd in a near-filled auditorium, which was still being flooded with no sign of letting up. "How many new kids are we talking?"
"Too damned many." The larger man on Clint's other side was leaning against the wall behind them, arms folded, with a frown on. But many of the others had been advised not to fear, because Logan's face always looked that way. "That's why we need all of these wonderful new teachers." He coated his words with as much blatant sarcasm as he could muster. "No offense, bub, but I think we could have handled the influx of little bastards without Captain Stick-in-the-a** and, what the hell are you supposed to be?"
"Be nice, now, Ami." The man on his other side smiled to refrain from laughing to himself, "No need to be so bitter all da time." He turned his head to look over the crowd for himself now. His red and black eyes scanned for the door which had finally stopped flooding the room with students and was finally letting in the last few. He turned his attention to the woman beside him and raised a brow, "Professor X say what we're s'possed to be teachin' dem anyway? Da quiet game might be a good start." Remy LeBeau had a point, the crowded auditorium had gotten rather loud since all of the students had flooded in.
As Professor Xavier took to the stage a few of the students in the first few rows silenced, but the talking did not cease in the rest of the auditorium. Quickly, Steve assumed the role of leader again. "Students! Quiet! Eyes forward! Professor X is speaking!"
Xavier tried his best not to smile too broadly, Steve was quite good at commanding attention and respect, he would certainly be the dreaded "strict" teacher this school year. Without knowing many of the heroes on stage personally, he could tell who would be the more strict and more relaxed of the teachers. Of course he had assigned their subjects and classes based on this, he was one of the most powerful minds in the world after all. He took to his podium,the adjusted height for him in his chair and welcomed the students, "I'd like to introduce you to your new professors, students. There are a lot of you, so we needed to improvise, but we still got you the best of the best!"
The overall excitement of the room grew when the students realized that they might have Tony Stark or one of the other "cooler" superheroes as a teacher this semester. Many of them started their idle prattle again until a loud explosive noise from above them all startled the students and the line of teachers alike.
All eyes turned up, some of the student s screamed, as they anticipated what would appear as the rubble and smoke cleared from the stage. Many of the heroes took defensive stances, ready to immediately jump whatever they saw. Unfortunately for them they did not receive the pleasure of defeating one of the world's strangest super villains in front of the entire student body, they got... him.
As the view cleared and the stage was now clear of all opacity, the students and new teachers alike saw the bright red costumed Merc with a Mouth in the flesh, sitting up on his knees with his arms wide open and hands waving appropriately as he had just stolen the show. "Ta-dah! Am I late professor X? Sorry about that, must've taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque. Happens to everyone I suppose! Hey you guys got refreshments, why do you all look so angry, did I sit on Wasp again? Is she here? Don't be so angry I'm just responding to an ad I got! Want to see?" He fished into one of his many pockets and pulled out a small scrap of paper, unfolded it and began reading, "Female seeking male with extremely large- whoops! Wrong one." He fished around for another, then proceeded to read the second aloud, "Dear Captain America, your country smells, love LDP. s**t. That's wrong too. Where is it? Was it an e-mail maybe...?"
"We don't have time for this." Steve stepped forward first. He was the first to make a grab for the loquacious anti-hero and snagged him by the front of the spandex uniform, "Go. Away. Deadpool."
"How come I'm not invited?" Wade Wilson had given up on trying to hold himself up and was allowing Captain America to hold him up by the collar, which left his suit really riding up in the back. "You let Iron Man join the party, and he doesn't even have any super powers! Hey Wolverine! My old buddy!"
"Can somebody shut him up before I have to?" Logan had stood up from the wall, his claws slowly extending from his knuckles, "Yer givin' me a headache, as usual, Deadpool."
"Quiet, all of you." Professor X instructed them, "Deadpool can stay, but only as a co to one of your other classes."
"I'm bunkin' with Spidey!" The mouthy mercenary called, shooting his hand into the air.
"No, I'm afraid as capable as Spider-Man is, you'll need somone who can keep you under control a bit more efficiently."
Deadpool crossed his fingers and closed his eyes while he awaited the professor's assignment, "Not Slytherin, not Slytherin."
"Storm, Rogue, Cyclops, Wolverine, I trust the four of you collectively will be enough of a force to keep him under your control."
"I knew I'd get suckered into it." Logan sighed.
Wade Wilson was already standing and he had ignored the fact that two of his assigned mentor figures were men, and that one of those two men was Wolverine. Two of them were chicks. He could get used to that, "Okay, sorry Spidey, guess I'm bunkin' with Rogue." He made a noise that quite resembled a disturbing growl before he was, as he would put it "totally cockblocked" by Gambit.
Remy had immediately slid in front of the girl beside him immediately yanking a playing card from his pocket which glowed a violet color with kinetic energy. His frown was enough as far as "fightin' words" go.
Wade put up both hands defensively and stopped in his tracks, "I got it, I got it! 'Keep yer filthy hands off 'er ya damn dirty ape!' Yeah yeah, yeah."
Professor X could hear all of the thoughts of the Heroes on stage questioning his judgement at that moment, but he simply smiled to himself as he asked them, "May I continue?"

Like most of the hero's on stage Peter Parker was not happy by any means to be covered in celeling debris or to see the man who had caused it. Groaning audibility Peter stepped back to the end of the line of heroes. Last thing he wanted to deal with that craze lunatic. "Thank god I don't have to put up with him."
It was apparent to Rouge that Remy forgot she was a capibale women with more then enough ability to protect herself, even from a man like Deadpool. Laying a hand gently on the pumped up Remy, she shook her head. "It'll be my pleasure Sir." She called out to the professor feeling much the same as Logan about her charge.
Matt Murdock stood, a grimace of pain still on his face. "The noise level that man, Deadpool, brought with him was almost too much for the blind man to take. What with his heightened senses.
"Alright there DD?" Emma Frost asked softly. Concerned for the man who was in obvious discomfort.
"I'll be alright soon as we can get this done and over with." Matt sighed relaxing as the crowd of students once again quieted.
Johnny storm looked to the crowd of students. There were so many. He turned back tot he man who had just made an explosive entrance. Johnny was already feeling bad for any student who got him.
Leaning over to a man he considered a friend "So hows it hanging Spidey?"
"As long as I can keep away from the dead head over there I'll be just dandy." Peter sighed
Rouge not wanting to delay this meeting any more then it was likely to be delayed she whispered to the other members assigned to keeping Deadpool under control. "We need to talk about how we are going to dead with him after this."
"Please Professor continue." Emma encouraged lightly wanting to get off the stage and get on with her day.

Scott pinched the bridge of his nose as he fought his searing headache. "I hear ya, Rogue. I really don't see how the Professor came to the descision of bringin him here. Comidic relief maybe? A circus act? What's his power again?" he said rather ruefully. He had a feeling the Professor knew what he was doing with Deadpool, but honestly Scott couldn't see it.
Tony Stark chuckled to himself as he leaned over to Scott as he waved a hand at an eager student. They nearly flipped out of their seat when he did so. "Ohh, come on Cyclops. I find it hilarious. Just look at how he got ol' red, white and blue going. Priceless!" he said with a smile as he subtley waved to another excited student.
"I'd be all for it if all these kids would keep quiet. You should stop encouraging them, ya know." he said as he took a double take at Logan. "Put those away!" he hissed. "Logan, really, I thought you grew up already."
Thor stepped in without regard for who could hear his heavy boots on the stage floor as he walked over and stood between Tony and Scott. He then put each of his mighty arms onto the men's shoulders and gripped them, shaking them lightly. "Come now, brothers! They're excited for learning from heroes such as ourselves! Imagine being tought by legends you've only heard of and read in your "comic books"!" he preached in a hushed, but moderately loud tone.
"Shhh! Do you always have to be so loud, Thor? Isn't it loud enough in here for you?" Ororo scolded the hulk of a man with the outlandish accent. Speaking of which, where was Bruce?
"Now all of you--"
"-- be quiet and mind your manners when daddies talking. We've all got this talk before, snowflake." Johnny adjusted his studded leather jacket as the woman's white eyes glared at him. "By all means, continue Professor." Blaze smicked as he took the words right out of Ororo's mouth.

Logan muttered something about how he only wanted to cut the b*****d to ribbons and retracted his claws.
"I doubt it was da professor's idea to bring 'im here." Remy was still scowling at the Mercenary, "But the ol' man's got a sick sense of humor if he really intends on keepin' dat guy around." He nodded toward Wade who had just jumped over to the podium to interrupt the Professor with his best Kanye West impression.
"That guy scares me." Clint scoffed to whoever was listening around him, "Not in a you-scare-the-crap-out-of-me-Woman-in-Black sort of way, more like a Why-are-you-here-as-opposed-to-the-nearest-asylum sort of way." The Captain beside him gave him a look reminding him to be quiet. Really it was the same look he had given Tony only a few moments before.
"Can we please act like professionals? We have a job here, and we don't need to set a bad example for the young minds."
Wade took this moment to sit on Professor Xavier's lap and start listing what he wanted for Christmas.
"Speaking of bad examples." Clint nodded toward the front of the stage. Wilson, leadin' the way!"

Professor Xavier managed to deal with the mercenary as he spoke before he finally concluded with the students. "...You'll find upon returning to your dormatories that your individual schedules have been posted. Be sure to get to bed on time because class begins tomorrow promptly at eight am."
"That is waay early Professor." Wade had gotten off of the professor's lap and was casually pulling at the spandex in his uniform as the students began filing out.
It was then that Professor Xavier turned to Wade Wilson with a serious note, "Now Deadpool, you're allowed to stay on the condition that you're going to behave yourself. You've been given the opportunity to prove you can be more than everyone here thinks you are... so don't screw this up."
Deadpool gave the professor in return a stiffened posture and salute in irony more likely. "Sir, yes sir!"
Logan sighed and turned to his comrades assigned to the most difficult task of all and nodded toward the mercenary, "So, how are we doing this? Dividing time with him? I need the time that I'll be drinking."

Peter was ready to get off the stage just as soon as he could. "Since we are done! I'll be one my way." Peter made a quick walk to the edge of the stage. "Got stuff to plan and what not."
Johnny frowned and walked off to the edge of the stage. "You big baby. Not going to hang out and get to know everyone?"
"No thanks I'll get to know everyone when Deadpool in on a leash and under control." Peter said waving back to the torch. "See ya around."
Rouge shook her head not thrilled with the fact she would be dealing with Deadpool. "I think we should stick to groups of two dealing with him. Honestly. Better safe then sorry." She sighed and pushed the white streak of hair from her face. "I mean I know he's supposed to be a good guy. But he's a lot to handle even for one of us."
Emma frost joined the little huddle since Cyclops would be dealing with the trouble maker as well. "I'm sure you guys can count on help from some of us as well." She said taking up the side of Cyclops. "You guys have lives and can't watch him every hour of the day."
Matt walked past the group, hearing perfectly what they were saying. "You won't have much help as you think I'm affrid. It seems most people have problems with him." The blind man said as he manged to make his way to the side of the stage and jump off.

One student tried her best to hang back a few moments. Though with the crowd of other students moving steadily forward it was hard to keep an eye on the stage. It seemed no one was a thrilled as her to see all of the heroes. Even the bomb throwing Deadpool. Bailey Corvan was pushed forward and out of the auditorium before she knew it. Giving up and crossing her fingers Bailey headed off to her dorm room to find out who she had for teachers.

Johnny chuckled to himself. "Just hope I don't get the trouble-makers on my night shift. Any one know what we'll be teaching exactly? I think I might've missed that past. I'll be damned if I gotta teach some adolecent p***k his times tables." he said to no one in particular before looking around as if he were looking for something. "Anyone know what time it is? It's kind of important..."
"That's easy, Johnny my boy. It's time to get a watch. Maybe you could get a Firefighter-grade rolex, or something?" Tony laughed as he went by the Ghost Rider and patted him on the shoulder and went on his way like he was the life of the party.
Scott nodded when Emma reassured him until Matt spoiled it for him. He laughed. "Not to worry, I'll find a straight-jacket, a coo-coo clock and a nice quiet room for him to amuse himself in." he said with a smirk, then shook his head. "With all seriousness though, I agree with Rogue. Two people at a time. Two on day shift and two on night shift? I'll volunteer for the first one." he looked at the other three and Emma in case they had any other suggestions.
"I don't see anything wrong with that. If anyone would like to go with Scott to start?" Ororo only asked in case no one esle wanted to deal with Deadpool. If not, then she'd go with Scott.
Tony zoned in on the group of X-Men with a handsome smile. "Did I head 'Deadpool' from one of you? I couldn't help listening in on such esteemed figures. Good to meet you all, but I think I'll let you folks delay your, uh, cycles if you'd let me watch over him! It'd be my honor to take the first 'watch'. Hey, Deadpool!" he called. "Come on over here and say 'hi'!" Personally, Tony was a partyman and he liked this Deadpool character.
Thor ignored Storm and walked around the auditorium herding the students out with a hand on his hammer. "C'mon! Out you go! You've got long day ahead of you for tomorrow!" he said as the last few students filed out. He then turned around, his cape waving, and strolled back to the stage and specifically approached the broad good ol' Captain America. "Captain! You seem a strong man for a drink! Care to join me in a few? Anyone else who'd like to come?"

"Sorry." Steve declined respectfully, "I don't indulge. Well, can't-" He shook his head, "Besides, you lot shouldn't either, we have big days tomorrow and the last thing we need is a hung-over staff."
Wade laughed, "A bunch of big guys in spandex getting wasted by the case? I could go just to enjoy the show." He stepped away from Thor and the others to approach the Iron Man who had just called him over. "Well okay," He feigned shyness, turning in his toes and looking at the floor, "But I'm gonna stop here. Last time I was around Scott he tried to touch my no-no place."
Clint rolled his eyes while suppressing a bit of a smirk as he himself leapt off of the stage, "Good luck with that clown, guys. See you in the morning."
"I'll be volunteerin' my services as well to da cause. Don't want da ladies to have to do too much, especially around him. Shouldn't really leave anyone alone with 'im for dat matter." Remy had taken to Rogue's side rather quickly and placed an arm around her in a protective manner.
Logan grunted, "No matter who I'm with I gotta be on a night shift, I can't drink or smoke during school hours and that thing's gonna drive me back to my healthy habit of both."
Deadpool had turned to look out over the emptying auditorium, "What kidn of school plays do you guys get here? If you want, I can direct the next one! We'll do Equus in which I'll play naked Harry Potter, and Sarah Jessica Parker can play all of the horses. A two-man show. How's it sound?"
"Stop. Talking." Logan grumbled. He turned to where Professor Xavier had been to again question what he was thinking when he realized the old man was gone. "Old b*****d escaped while he still could, leaving us to deal with the monster he left behind. nAnd here I thought he was the kind and benevolent leader."

Emma raised her hand slightly. "Of course I'll take on to help Scott tonight." She turned and smiled at him, taking his hand in hers and giving it a light squeeze. "Everyone else can get some sleep for the night. I already have my day planned out for tomorrow."
Rouge leaned into Remy for a moment to show she appreciated the help. "So Emma and Scott take the shift tonight?" She mused looking to Deadpool. "I hope you can get some sleep, you'll be expected to be in class to help someone on the first day."
Johnny walked over to the small group still hanging around. "I don't think the school would put up with that play Deadpool." He said finding his idea at least amusing.
"I know I don't want to see that much of him." Emma said rolling her eyes. "And being naked on stage is not proper etiquette for a school."
"That means your clothes will need to stay on Deadpool. No running around anywhere but your own bathroom with out clothing on." Rouge made sure that rule was clear. Last thing she wanted to see was a naked Deadpool running by her window in the middle of the night or something.

Scott laughed and leaned into Emma. "Fat chance of that there, DP. That's about as probable to happen as Logan here growing a funny bone." he chuckled as he nodded to the man he was cracking wise on, then turned to Tony. "Looks like we got 'em covered, Tony. Maybe next time." he then called off to Clint "See ya in the morning!"
Tony waved a hand. "Bah, it's alright. We'll party some other time Deadpool." he said as he smiled and pat the red spandex coated man on the shoulder. "But, Scott, you haven't introduced me to this fine thing yet." Tony then brought up Emma's hand and kissed it. "Although I'm sure we know each other, Emma. It's been a while. Care to catch up sometime?" he said with an almost unoticable wink, then he heard Scott cleared his throat.
Tony then turned on a dime, "Well! Look at the time! I think I'll go ahead and go for a nice walk with Thor to the local bar. You have fun you two!" Stark said as he turned and waved as he went over toward Thor. "Hey, Hothead, you wanna go too?" he asked over to the Human Torch even as he walked away from him.
Storm shook her head. "All I got to say is he better watch himself. Johnny finally gave up and just left the auditorium. As much as he wanted to get a drink, he didn't want to be a flaming skeleton while he did so. Wouldn't even matter if it were night either. There would most definitely be some sinners there and he didn't want to make a scene. He gave a subtle wave as he departed the auditorium.
