"Hello Dakota. Or at least I assume that is Dakota." Marcus's golem was the same specs. Effort was wasted on theses... disposables ones after all. "So, ready for a fun little deathsweeper run? I am sure the deaths we experience here will give a taste of what would happen to you should you get caught." He smiled behind the mask, though he knew it couldn't be seen. "I hope you enjoy some of the more creative deaths for some of the tiles."

Wilson had yet to do the actual Deathsweeper course despite being a death trainee, but it wasn’t exactly his first time. He was somewhat acquainted with the mechanics from his first run through the Miss Taken Tower. Actually, he wasn’t entirely sure why he was at the death trainee course right now. One way or another, he had somehow found himself roped into a run of Deathsweeper with not only Dakota, but Marcus and Cass as well.

He scratched his head as he awkwardly waved over to a group of golems he assumed to be the other three. “Hey guys,” he greeted. Wilson paused at Marcus’ words. “Wait…what?” That did not sound too good. Perhaps he had had a decent run with it in the tower?

Marcus smiled as Dakota to a hit. "I'll be cheerful because unlike you I passed this a while back. Now? Now I just get to watch you suffer. Think of it like a bonding experience." Waving at Cass and Wilson Marcus figured he could share. "Glad you guys could join us.Dakota here just needs a bit of training. Right Dakota?" Marcus sounded happy.

"But, let's see how my luck fairs." Stepping onto the tile he felt needles suddenly shooting into his side. "Ahhhh ********- deathsweeeperrrrrrr." He groaned. "You're doing at least three of these Dakota!"

Wilson rolled his eyes at Dakota. “I would not,” he insisted, but gestured for Dakota to make the first move anyways. He chuckled, amused by the lad’s reaction to the pool of water. Marcus’ and Cass’ first steps, however, were not as amusing to watch. Wilson breathed through his teeth—assuming these golems had teeth—as he imagined the pain the two intermediates were feeling. Definitely not good.

He stared at the sea of tiles. It was his turn next. Wilson looked at the other trainees and then back at the tiles. Did he really have to do this? Really? Sighing, he hopped onto a tile and braced himself for a trap…but found nothing. He relaxed and looked around to double check. Yup. Absolutely nothing. Maybe this was why he was a death trainee. Wilson turned toward Dakota. “Your turn again, assuming we're going in order.”

Marcus rolled his eyes at Dakota's reaction to the bonding experience. "Yeah, well someone has to teach you some manners and s**t. Or at least make sure you don't end up creeping on girls. Deus has enough creeps on the campus." Understatement. Cass's golem getting stuck like a pin cushion- ow. But it was Wilson that just- "My god you're just going to like, win this and beat us all so badly. How do you guys do it? I swear to god."


Stepping over to the next time, Marcus felt the sensation of something in his midsection. Upon looking down he realized that he had a very large axe halfway through his body. With a shuddering sigh, he was no better off than Dakota. "******** class="quote">

What in the name of—WHY WAS EVERYONE DYING? First, it was Dakota. Admittedly, the golem death startled Wilson a bit—the worst he had seen before was falling into chasms and that was, well, not very exciting. He winced, turning his head slightly away from the cage and the leftover golem bits. At least it had been just the golem and not Dakota who died. Unfortunately, Marcus’ fate didn’t fare well either. It was a real shame because Wilson would have gladly piped up to agree with the moon trainee, except the poor guy suffered from a giant axe slicing through half of his body. Wilson winced again. Ouch.

“Poorly indeed,” he noted grimly, not all too surprised when Cass’ golem disappeared after a couple of sickening crunches from the tiles’ jaws—admittedly Wilson had to admire that for a moment. Freaking jaws had come out of nowhere and that was kind of badass.

Welp. Looks like he was the only one left now. “What the…” Wilson seemed startled by this turn of events, so startled that he didn’t realize that the tile he stepped on sunk in a couple inches. Next thing he knew, there was a collection of knives embedded into his back. “AGHHH!” Pain. Pain. Ow. Pain.

Nothing had happened on the last tile. That was great and all, but it made Wilson incredibly suspicious—or maybe the fact that he was the only one here made him more paranoid than he normally would. Either way, the death trainee pulled out a flag and let it fall onto another tile.

Out of nowhere, a shrieking plant thing with giant maws shot out toward where Wilson would have been had he not used the flag. Instead it whizzed through the air until it crashed into the wall and whined pitifully. It slid to the ground then twitched a couple times before withering. Wilson stared. “Um…okay.” Good thing he had used his flag. He stepped onto a tile and thankfully he was still safe.
