He Xiangu:
Xian ran quickly across the savannah, her heart racing with each breath, each movement of her lithe paws. She was thin for a leopardess, almost mistakable for a cheetah female, but for her scent and still-stockier build. And she was several lengths ahead of her pursuer. She was a princess of a very patriarchal society and as such wasn't really even allowed out of the palace grounds, much less outside of the lands. But that never stopped her from coming to see the oasis seer. He was her only friend, after all.
Blaise:
Needless to say, Blaise would have picked a number of other pastimes than chasing the leopard princess, but she wanted the run and he was grudgingly inclined to agree to her whims. Poor girl didn't get out much and frankly he didn't either. Neither of them had what you would call friends, Xian because of her father and Blaise because... well... He just didn't trust people. She was one of the few creatures who had come to him wanting nothing more than the company of another creature, not a vision, nothing at all.
So the seer continued to chase the princess.
Grimm'Geist:
Grimm was doing what Grimm did best. Staying out of the way of others. He was a recluse of the greatest sort, preferring his solitary life to something as large as a clan. He had done his best to remain self sufficient, and since adolescence he had grown into the land. His tail thrashed behind him, twitching and hitting the backs of his heels. It was a warm day, and he was thankful his coat was of silver. But he still stuck to the shadows, not wanting himself to be so obvious.
He was bored, and he was waiting for something to happen to intrigue him. Usually he found something before long but this was beginning to prove futile. There was literally nothing happening today! It caused him to frown.
He Xiangu:
Something she would never do in more dire a situation, Xian glanced behind her, letting out a cry of playful fright when she saw Blaise was gaining on her. She darted to the left, towards a grove of trees hoping to lose her pursuer and let out another cry when he changed direction less than a heartbeat later. She knew he had trouble seeing, she was certain he was cheating! That wasn't fair at all!
Then again, he probably just knew her too well.
She put on a burst of speed, hoping to lose him in the shadows.
Blaise:
Xian's indignant cries reached his ears, forcing a smirk on his maw. Really? What in the world did she have to be indignant about? Just because he was a solitary individual who rarely left his sanctuary, did she expect him to be fat and lazy? She was faster than he was, but he had far more stamina.
And Blaise did know her well. Well enough to know she would try and lose him in shadows that would make it difficult for him to see. He had to catch her quick or he wouldn't catch her at all and she would gloat for the rest of their lives over the time the boastful seer couldn't catch the sheltered princess.
Grimm'Geist:
Maybe it was her cry of fright that had caused the male to tense. But he had no idea who she was, or the games she played, and he thought her in danger. He watched as she darted in between trees, desperate to escape her attacker. He growled, and the hackles rose causing him to start stalking towards the pair.
Her last cry did it. He took off like a bullet out of the shadows, desperate to save the female that was so scared.
"Fear not, my lady!" He called, and placed himself between the leopard and the leopardess.
"Be on your way, createn.."
Blaise:
Blaise was chasing Xian, having fun, but suddenly there was another leopard in between him and the princess. He skidded to a halt and took up the defensive. He was so distracted by the fact that there was a strange leopard between himself and the princess that he didn't register the words that were coming out of the stranger's mouth. His ears set back and his shoulders rose.
"I don't know who you are or what you want, but I suggest you buzz off before you get hurt," he growled, trying to see Xian over the white intruder's shoulder.
He Xiangu:
Xian almost slipped, she stopped and whipped around so fast when she heard another male's voice and Blaise's growl. There was another male between her and Blaise and he was threatening her only friend. No fight against Blaise was a fair one, not with his eyesight!
A princess she may have been, coddled as she was, Xian still knew how to protect herself and hunt to an extent.
"Leave him alone!" she cried and tackled the male without a second thought.
Grimm'Geist:
He hadn't expected the tackle to come from behind. It was likely why he hadnt been able to get a word out before he was rolling against the earth with the female atop him. His eyes were wide, and he gently pushed her off of him and sat up.
"Hey now. I was trying to help you, lady. That did not warrant an attack. Perhaps you attacked the wrong guy?" He asked, and looked at her in confusion. Damn it this is why he stayed away. People were just plain weird.
He Xiangu:
Xian's ears set back and she frowned at him before running to Blaise's side.
"You just threatened my seer, I'm fairly certain I tackled the right male," she hissed back, looking at Blaise and giving him a nudge. She then turned her attention to the strange male, a frown on her face. Looked like a would-be-hero thinking to step in and save the damsel in distress. It was a little endearing, but he had threatened Blaise. And she wouldn't let anyone hurt her seer if she could help it.
Even if he was mildly handsome...
"Who are you?"
