[PRP] Nisha x Xanaris

You go into an explored cave for a sense of adventure, but this kind of adventure/excitement she did not need! She paused for a moment to catch her breath. "Boy am I out of shape." She panted while looking around for a place to hide away from the pissed off animal family she had encountered and had been running from for some time now. "Great, now I'm in the border lands."

Nisha looked around wearily keeping her eyes peeled for any sort of activity aka hyena packs. They had caused trouble a while ago and she did not want to participate in a fight if she could help it.

Things were going well enough he supposed. He was alive, healthy, and had his youth to keep him going. But he could not help but feel like his life was missing something. He wondered if everyone felt this way, or if maybe it was simply just him. He sighed, but lifted himself from his sleeping position and stretched out his legs. Once he was prepared he continued on his path. He needed a place to call home, though it was probably because he was simply getting lazier. He was tired of walking, and he wanted a place to call home. That would be nice for once.

He heard the voice, and tilted his head in it's direction. A lioness was not far off, and she was talking to herself it seemed.

"Hello." He called out. Okay, step one. Make his presence known.

Nisha let out a squeak of surprise at the sound of an unknown male voice and turned quickly to where it came from. "Oh-um hello there." She took in his appearance and what she liked most was his mane. It was like looking at the evening sky when the sun began to set. "You haven't seen any hyena's have you? Or uh angry waterbucks?" She wanted to make sure she had lost her attackers. Hooves hurt something fierce when they land on the body.

She eyed the rogue male or what she assumed rogue, it would make sense after all as they were on rogue lands. Nisha moved closer before cautiously sitting down to rest her tired feet.

Xanaris had been wandering around for some time now and the further he went out… the more lost he became. None of these markings or landscape looked familiar. He lifted his head in the air and jerked back quickly. Female. He just wanted some male time and now this. Wonderful, just what he needed to be surrounded by things that could likely kill him with a bash in the head.

Nisha was about to ask more when a faint growl distracted her, it sounded canine-like. "Oh dear." She turned away from the male and peered out cautiously. Should she contact the king? Were the hyenas attacking this early? Nisha took a deep breath it wouldn't do to get all worked up and cause a pride panic.

"Crap," Xanaris let out a frustrated growl when he tripped over yet another branch. It was like mother nature was out to get him or something. He paused. The smell of female feline was getting stronger now and he looked around wearily in case of an attack. He wouldn't put it past a female to pull something tricky, like use their wiles. It had happen to him before. That had been so embarrassing.

The shaking of a bush disrupted her inner thoughts and made her start in shock. The creature had gotten so much closer without her realizing it. Some predator she was. Nisha got her claws ready just in case she had to defend herself real quick like. She wriggled her body trying to loosen up her muscles in case of anything. Loose limbed was what one of her old instructors taught her back in self-defense class.

Cautiously he peeked out and looked around. So far so good. He went out further and was just about to sigh in relief--maybe the female had left--when a warbled yelled to his left made him jerk. He could only watch in horrified-shock as a female body launched herself at him. And because of physics and karma and his freaking luck a pebble from the lionesses launching smacked him right.in.the.eye. Down he went with a howl. Using his front paws he tried to stop the hurt and at the same time try to dislodge the pebble.

She over shot her jump and that was only because Nisha was surprised. Once all four paws were on the ground, she turned around and saw a pale male rolling as well as howling on the ground. Had she done that? What was going on? Should she run and get away while she could? But... the discussion was taken from her when the male rolled unknowingly closer and smacked into her causing her to fall and roll along with him.
What a mess. When Nisha would look back on this situation she would laugh, but now. Now, it wasn't too funny. Especially when they were near a mud puddle that smelled horrid.

He let out a whimper. The day had started out sooo nice too. "Oof." He smacked his body into the female and down they went. Down a small hill and into a mud puddle with a splash. His head broke out from the mud and he nearly gagged. "Narsty." He choked out and struggled to detangle himself from not only the female but the mud as well. Finally, he broke free and staggered around trying to see. He pride, his body hurt, his eye hurt, and now smelled. Xanaris was ready to pack up and go if only to bathe. Well, bathe and get the hell away from the other female that brought him into this situation. Good riddance!

If Nisha could plug her nose now she would be doing so. "I have to agree with you there." She choked back to the other male. They both looked a mess. The prey that were once in the area, now gone, fled not from the noise but from the smell alone. She shook to dispelled the smell and some of the mud. She eyed the male on the other side of the large mud puddle before turning away to find water to get cleaned. She gave no care what the other male was going to do. She had had enough.

Xanaris huffed and made his escape while he could. He did not want to die any time soon and he felt if he stuck around long enough with this female he would be doing that. Dying that is. He knew when to pick his battles and today was not his day. It seemed the female had the same plan as he did and that was leaving. Goooooodbye. He thought sarcastically before blinking his eye to soothe its ache. Turning away, Xan hoped he would find some water soon.
