Nisha absently stretched her dozing body with her eyes closed enjoying the warm rock she currently was resting on. The sun was shining down on her dark fur and she purred with lazy delight as a stray breeze ruffled her fur lightly. She wiggled her paws before flipping onto her back to watch the sky. Narrowed eyes watched as a bird flew by her line of sight.
"You thought you'd found a friend,To take you out of this place. Someone you could lend a hand, In return for grace, It's a beautiful day. Sky falls, you feel like, It's a beautiful day,Don't let it get away~" She sang softly almost absentmindedly.

It was a rather lazy day today, Kialio had already caught food, eaten his share then passed the rest on. He didn't really have any obligations besides hunting, though he was quite honestly considering a change of pace. Becoming a scout seemed nice! He already spent a lot of time out at the borders anyways.
Ironically, though, today he was more inland, simply walking, as he usually did. Nothing eventful seemed to be happening, so he just watched people as he saw them. Then he caught sight of someone familiar. Ooooh! He knew that lioness. She seemed very relaxed and chill on her own, but Kialio was a rather curious guy, and decided to check up on how she was doing.
"Nisha!" He greeted as he approached her rock. "It's good to see you again!"

Nisha felt her fur puff up in surprise before relaxing when she saw who it was coming towards her current resting area. "Oh Kialio!" She felt a smile creep onto her face as she took in the familiar face. "Hello! It's nice to see you again as well. How have you been? It has been many days since we last met." Nisha stood to properly greet the other male and gave him a quick friendly nuzzle.
"Would you care to go for a walk with me?" Nisha looked up at the tall male. "I have been to a few popular places around here but have yet to explore some of the less inhabitated areas."

Oh! That was a warmer welcome than he had expected, but at least he wasn't an awkward enough lion to back away from it. The nuzzle hadn't been unpleasant, after all. Just weird. Kialio could handle weird, it wasn't that big a deal. "Heeello! I've been well! I was actually wondering the same about you." And he really had, this wasn't just because that's how conversations normally went.
"Was wondering if you had settled in alright! O--oh, a walk? Sure, I could go with you." At least he wouldn't be wandering around aimlessly for a while! That worked well with him, walking with company was usually a nicer way to spend one's time.

"Oh, good to hear that. I have been-" She smiled peacefully. "- really good. I was a mess coming here, but I find myself enjoying my life for the first time in a long time. I have a cave of my own and I have met some friends that have helped with the change of pride life. My home is a bit bare right now but maybe we can change that?" She looked up at him as they started walking along the dirt path. " Maybe if we are lucky we can find things to bring back home and I may reward you for the help too." She grinned slyly and so unlike herself that she would have been horrorified in the past. You only lived once afterall--that was her new motto.
"So-" Nisha bit her lip before continuing awkwardly. "Have you met anyone? Any lioness or lion waiting back at the cave for you?" She hoped not as that would ruin her mentally planned evening she had started thinking about.

Because he had led a fairly easy life, barring the war with the hyenas (perhaps even including that), he couldn't really relate to the idea of life being a mess. Sometimes Kialio felt bad about that, like he should go out and get screwed up, as if that would somehow give him an interesting new perspective on life, and make him wiser.
In the end, he concluded that was silly, and he should just stay content. "I'd be happy to help liven up you cave!" He said cheerfully, never having been asked to help decorate before. Kialio didn't even live in a cave, he was surprised the newcomer had been able to find one unoccupied in the pridal lands. Kialio usually just slept in grass thickets, or beneath trees. Sometimes even out in the open, because the sky was pretty.
"Met any... oh, you mean..." He might have blushed if he were capable of such things. "Oh, no! Nope, just me, haha. I have my mom and siblings around somewhere, though." He actually had a few siblings, and...half siblings. and stuff.

"Wonderful!" His enthusiasm was most welcoming. "It's not too big though, its just enough space for three or four at the most. I was really lucky when I found it. I scent the place just to be sure. I so did not want a pee'd off mother or family coming down on me because I took their home away." She got distracted by a beautiful looking flower off to the left. It certainly would look pretty in her house but it wouldn't last that long sadly.
"Oh good-" Her eyes widened. "Oh-Um I mean that's too bad about not having some one." She switched topics quickly. " Oh thats nice to have your family around for support- ah look!" Nisha pointed excitedly as well as distracted at something sparkling off ahead of them. "I wonder what that could be!"

He briefly noticed her considering a flower, but didn't go after it, because he wasn't about to go taking initiative with these things. Maybe she didn't even like the flower. He couldn't see why, it was perfectly pretty, but people had differing tastes! "Caves only need to be 'big enough'." Kialio said happily. If it was a cave with enough space for two or three, that was fine, considering she was just one.
Nisha had some weird reactions sometimes. Oh good! Him not having a family. Of course Kialio wasn't offended, just amused. "Oh, I'm alright on my own-- what?" He blinked, then glanced ahead at the...whatever it was that sparkled ahead. "I dunno, let's find out." He said, and turned to walk that way.

"Yeah you don't want homes to be too big," She spoke absentmindedly as she crept closer to the area in which the shiny object was located. She lost her breath as she finally saw it up close, it was perfect. "Beautiful... look Kia isn't it the most lovest thing you have ever seen?" She picked up the aqua-ish gem with her paw to bring it closer to the others face. "I am going to keep it." She looked around for something to carrying it in and found a large leaf as well as vine. "This ought to be a just the thing. I think just a few more items would be fine and then we could go back to my home. I could show you around if you want?"

Oh, what a strange thing to just find lying around! Maybe someone lost it. Well, there was no harm in finding things. "That is very pretty! It will look good in your cave." He said with a grin, almost going cross-eyed as she brought it up to his face. Kialio thought it really was rather pretty.
"Alright. I think just with that stone your den will be more decorated than most!" He nodded happily. Maybe he would one day have a den and feel like decorating it. "Sure, I'd like to see your cave. Sounds nice." Kialio said, then tilted his head. "Would you like me to carry any of that?"

"Thank you, I think it will look good in the little hole I have in the wall. I think the sun will hit it nicely." She giggled at the cross-eyed look, it really was adorable and gentlemanly. She handed him her quickly made pouch and gem. Her nose touching his gently. "Thank you I would appreciate it. Let's head off now, it should be dark soon." She looked behind her back to him and sashayed her way towards her home. "I could also use the company if you are willing?"

This was turning out to be a rather interesting day, and he chuckled slightly when she giggled. This was pretty fun! He took hold of the pouch when she passed it to him, quietly noting the nose-touch, and wondering if he should feel embarrassed about it. Well, it ws kind of nice, no biggie.
"Alright, coming!" He said, hesitating a bit, though he wasn't so sure why. Perhaps a thought had just crossed his mind. It was a little unlike him, but... he smiled anyways, then picked up the pace to follow Nisha away.
