►◊------- Arietta Soul ------- ◊◄
►◊ ------ "Don't look don't look" the shadows breathe
Whispering me away from you
"Don't wake at night to watch her sleep
You know that you will always lose
This trembling adored
Tousled bird mad girl... "
But every night I burn
Every night I call your name
Every night I burn
Whispering me away from you
"Don't wake at night to watch her sleep
You know that you will always lose
This trembling adored
Tousled bird mad girl... "
But every night I burn
Every night I call your name
Every night I burn
┴ Every night I fall again ┬
Arietta laid on the floor of her cage with her hands under her head, looking up at the ceiling of her tomb. There was a lovely little crack right above her, a little sliver of a hair line crack. But through that crack a moonbeam slithered its way through the crack and brightened her little cage, the beam of light coming to lay on Arietta's well toned tummy, making her feel close to the outside world even though she was stuck inside on such a lovely night.
This was about the third time in Arietta's life that she had been stuck in a stone cold cage with nothing but a cup of water and the sounds of whispers, moaning, and groaning to keep her company. Although, to newly arrived guests, the sounds were annoying and foreboading, Arietta found tem soothing and easy to sleep too. Once you were use to something that went on constantly it became more of a lullaby than anything else. Especially the crying that was in the cage next to her. The poor girl. The little fox creature that had been brought in yesterday had cried all night and had cried even harder when the Master of the Slave shack came to... test his product.
Arietta didn't cry anymore, her crying had only happened for a few days after she had arrived the first time she had been sold into slavery. She didn't make a noise when it was bathroom break time, didn't say anything about the nasty oatmeal like substance that she was given for food, and didn't complain when the Master came to test her. However, on that note, she had made it known that it he ever came to test her again she would kill him, and so the Master now skipped her on his daily rounds.
At the moment there was a sound of huffing and puffing in the cage next to her. The crying has stopped and Arietta closed her eyes. Even the sounds of sex were soothing. She figured this would be the best time to take a bit of a nap before lunch was arrived.
┬ "Oh don't talk of love" the shadows purr .┴

Murmuring me away from you
"Don't talk of worlds that never were
The end is all that's ever true
There's nothing you can ever say
Nothing you can ever do... "
Still every night I burn
Every night I scream your name.------- ◊◄
~~►"Just paint your face" the shadows smile
Slipping me away from you
"Oh it doesn't matter how you hide
Find you if we're wanting to
So slide back down and close your eyes
Sleep a while you must be tired... "
But every night I burn
Every night I call your name ◄~~
