A large arena that's fashioned like a smaller, more modern Collisium. Even if it looks like a harmless sand covered arena what this is used for is anything but harmless.

LIBRA

▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬

Libra giggled to herself as she entered the arena. A wicked grin crossing her face. This wasn't something they could be taught slowly. Oh no, their leader didn't believe in that. This was something they had to learn on the spot, right then and there. Not that she minded. Truth be told, it was rather entertaining. She had a feeling these newbies weren't going to let her down.

She retreated over to the far side of the arena, her eyes focused on the portal as she waited for them to arrive. She decided to wait until they were all assembled before beginning. They were going to be in for quite a surprise. The idea made her giggle yet again. But, this was necessary for them if they ever wanted to go toe-to-toe with the denizens of the light. She tapped her foot impatiently as she folded her arms over her chest. "Come on now...I want to get started already."

Sagi stepped out of the portal onto a sand-covered surface. "Oh, this is..," she muttered, looking around. For the most part, the Arena didn't seem like anything particularly special to her. But if it was modeled off of a colosseum, then it's purpose couldn't be pleasant. For new members like her, the Arena must serve some sort of purpose. A sort of cruel induction or test, perhaps? It seemed like it was a normal thing as Akito had said "you know what to do" when he had ordered Libra to take them here. But thinking about it wasn't going to get her anywhere. She would just have to watch and wait to see what she would be required to do. She had to admit, it was interesting to be here and not know what to expect.

The feeling of darkness inside her instead of around her was strange to Saoirse, but she didn't have much time to think on it because she was falling. She let out a pathetic squeak as she landed on her butt. Akito's words still fresh in her mind she looked around. Her mouth opened in awe as she got to her feet. The place was so... large. So open. An arena was it? Why would they- oh no. She wasn't going to have to fight already, was she? No, no, no! That would be very back. Saoirse wasn't a fighter. She was a fleer and back stabber, and currently she was most cowardly.

LIBRA

▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬

Watching as they arrived, Libra decided it was time to get things started. She giggled to herself and clapped her hands. "Welcome to our arena. You're going to learn something very valuable here today." She smiled, leaning her head to the side. "While some of you might be more comfortable having time to learn this skill...our leader doesn't believe in that. It's basically do or die. Learn or fail." She shrugged simply, as if it didn't really matter to her. It wasn't as if this was super hard, anyway. She waited a moment, letting her words sink in. Had they realized what they needed to do now?

Her grin widened and she lifted a hand, snapping her fingers. Darkness began to pool on the ground in front of her. "Your test begins...now!" She cackled madly as the heartless began to spring from the ground. It wasn't as if these guys were very strong, but the newbies didn't need to know that.

Libra smiled, moving to take a seat and watch. This was going to be quite a party. Her grin widened as she clasped her hands in her lap. "By the way, I forgot to mention.." She started, gazing at the newbies. "The only way for you to survive here is to gain control of your darkness. You have to make the Heartless obey you! Good luck~!"

Heartless clawed their way out of the ground before them. The purpose for them was, as an unusually enthusiastic Libra implied, for them to learn to control their darkness. Sagi pulled her onyx hammer out of nowhere, thinking of the only way that task could be accomplished. "So is this what we have to do?" She held up her weapon and looked at the squriming Heartless. It made sense that they would have to force the Heartless to obey them. And how else would they be able to do that other than fighting them?

The heartless swarmed around them and stepped up to attack. Reacting, Sagi jumped at the Heartless with her hammer above her head and brought it crashing down. It slammed into one Heartless, smacking into the ground with a resounding boom. That single Heartless disappeared in a puff of smoke, but there were plenty to take its place.

Saoirse shifted her weight from on foot to the other as Libra spoke. Her nerves were really starting to get to her. They... were supposed to fight these things? But she barely made it out of her home world, and that was mainly from running! She saw the other girl pull out her hammer. The Cowardly girl looked at her own sword, figuring she had to use it. There was only one problem, a good number of the were skittering flat on the ground. She tip-toed around them to avoid stepping on them. She wasn't sure what would happen if she did step on one.

The moment one of them unflattened itself upon drawing close enough, Saoirse swung her sword at it surprising force.
"Get away!" She shouted as her sword struck darkness. 'Focus, focus, focus! I can do this... Who am I kidding? No I can't!' The girl kept backing away for the heartless, fear currently being her greatest motivator.

Sagi stepped around the Heartless that had begun skittering around her. They raised their claws and scratched at her, which threw her off balance. She stumbled each time it happened, even though it wasn't causing major problems quite yet. Sagi swung her hammer, more so to bat the Heartless away than to hit them. After making a small clearing, she jumped over to it and glanced at the other girl. She had gotten rid of another one, but she seemed to be extremely frightened of them. Looking back at the Heartless around them, Sagi figured she should probably be, too. Giving into her nerves now, though, wouldn't help her gain control of the darkness. Sagi took a breath and swung her hammer once more. These shadowy things were becoming a pain. Again, her hammer hit the arena floor and another Heartless disappeared into smoke.

Dreamy Saoirse
Location: The World Without a Name, Arena - Feeling: Frightened, angry - Health: 70/80 - MP: 34/40 - Ooc: I've been sleeping most my weekend away.

Small yelps were coming from Saoirse every time one of those little buggers tried to scratch at her. Her look of fear was quickly switching to irritation. She couldn't keep track of their seemingly random movements, and all her wild swings have yeild misses since the first. She wasn't a fighter, far from it. She was starting to feel desperate. How was she supposed to get through this? Surely she'd be dead already had she not stolen a sword.

"I said get away!" The dreamy girl shouted. Once again her swing met air, but this time something different happened. A small orb of fire emerged from the tip. The girl was in awe as the ball of fire moved through the air and towards a heartless. She also felt very tired. 'Come on, I got this. No sleeping now. I might actually have a chance!' She gave herself a small pep-talk in her head, tried to keep moving, but already it was becoming a struggle. She now had two battles; the one with the heartless, and the other with Narcolepsy.

LIBRA

▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬

Libra chuckled and shook her head, crossing her legs as she watched. Her elbow rested on her knee and she propped her head up with her hand, a wide grin still plastered on her face. This was highly entertaining. "Hey now, I said make them listen, not beat them to a pulp!" She chuckled, her amber gaze sweeping the arena. "They won't stop coming until you make them listen!" She snickered. Honestly, it really wasn't that hard, was it? She certainly didn't have a problem with it. Then again, she had more experience than they did.

After some time, Libra had spoken up again. 'Not beat them to a pulp,' she says.. But how am I supposed to make them listen? They don't seem like diplomatic creatures to me. Sagi again looked at the Heartless around her. As Libra had said, they wouldn't stop until she figured out some way to control them. This fact made for a challenging predicament. Should she fail to learn to control them, she would become tired out. At that point, she would be unable to defend herself from the Heartless, and they would kill her. Sagi narrowed her eyes and clenched her weapon tightly. She wasn't having that. How could she die now when nothing had started yet?

Slightly annoyed, she gripped her hammer even tighter and glared at the Heartless. She had yet to find other Keyblade wielders and watch them squirm under the powers of darkness. Forget that, she couldn't even control even a smidgen of darkness. But she was absolutely determined to not fall by these Heartless, and those feelings grew stronger with each second she thought about it.
"Stop. Attacking. Me," she hissed at the peak of her thoughts, and a little wisp of darkness surrounded her. At that moment, the Heartless stopped in their tracks and even backed away. Sagi blinked at the unmoving creatures around her. Was this what was supposed to be happening?

Dreamy Saoirse
Location: The World Without a Name, Arena - Feeling: Asleep - Health: 60/80 - MP: 28/40 - Ooc: --

No matter how hard she tried, the dreamy girl was losing the fight... in more ways than one. Clumsily the girl stumbled back from the advancing heartless, limbs feeling heavier than they should. Her sword fell from her weak finger tips and clattered to the ground. The paniced feeling over came her, but it did nothing to help. 'No! I can't go down like this! My dreams! Tears started to stream down her face. She couldn't even hope to control the heartless in this state. In a last ditched effort to save herself she casted another fire spell at the dark creatures. Almost immediately after the girls legs gave out from under her. 'Will my last dream be a sweet dream? Will it last forever?' She'd soon have the answer to her questions as her eyes slid shut. She was at the mercy of the heartless.
