One post contains one prompt. The writer is allowed to mix and match as he or she likes. Prompts with green titles are the ones who have the highest priority.

The writer may add his or her own original characters into the story as main characters or side characters. I love it when people can write about characters they care about and let them interact with mine. It allows for so much love for all parts. I would, however, prefer to avoid a pink haired, blue eyed, androgynous half naked Japanese cat man waltzing around, fighting and beating up all the monsters that bother Lieselotte. Not that I hate pretty boys with nekomimi, it's just not very... historically correct. One must keep in mind that this story is set in 1864. Wearing skirt above your ankels was a scandal. Can you imagine the reactions when people saw 'inapropriate' skin? Having a Japanese character in itself though is no crime; it's possible for an Asian citizen to visit a small town in England during this periode, just not very likely. This is where wit and creativity comes inn though.

Prompt 1 ; That bitter taste that'll never leave

Edward, Annaliese and Lieselotte are spending the summer together in Hans' old villa by the sea. It's a lovely home; spaceous and simply decorated, it's the perfect place to rest and heal the mind. Mr. Lehmann himself has no time to join though; he has business in London and leave the young adults to themselves. Things get thick and tense though, seeing as nobody can get along properly. To make matters worse, Edward accidently blurts out he's still upset about the broken engangement with Lieselotte during a dinner. Awkward to say the least. Can it get more dramatic then this?

Prompt 2 ; All is well

"Just a few more weeks, just a few more weeks...". Lieselotte is back at the madhouse after throwing a hissy fit. It's back to the strange cures and shrinks that don't listen. Or perhaps not? There's a new emplyee. A very intelligent and handsome doctor. He seems very agreeable and kind. He doesn't doubt anything she tells him, and the questions he asks certainly doesn't make her feel like she's crazy, but rather telling a real story. He's polite, doesn't force her to drink the smelly liquids, helps her to avoid mirrors, and even allows tea time. With sweets. Lieselotte doesn't like this at all. Something's up...

Prompt 3 ; The strange story of Lieselotte Lehmann

A shrink from one of the bigger cities of the world has just arrived in the small town of Temperance, England. His or her presense is much requested by the rich Hans Lehmann. He is desperate to knock some sense into his daughter, who he wants out of the mad house as soon as possible. The patient; Lieselotte. According to the people of the town, she has been crazy since her mother died. As the shrink is starting to develope a "friendship" with the young girl, he/she is starting to think; is she really crazy...? Odd things begin to happen.

Prompt 4 ; Worth its weight in strange

A handsome fella from a good family in London has gotten an offer he almost can't resist; rich Hans Lehmann is looking for a suiter for his daughter, Lieselotte, and he is the number one candidate. Not only would the marrige give wealth, but the young girl is also a beauty. The rumors surrounding her though are a bit sketchy. He decides to take the risk anyway. Indeed, the girl is all that she was promised to be and more, but she's awfully strange. He decides to snoop around Temperance Manor, the staff and some private records that's been accidently left out. She's insane? It doesn't take long before he starts to notice that something strange is going on...

Prompt 5 ; Little Women's Club

A shrink suggests something odd; maybe Lieselotte should socialize instead of being locked up? It would do her some good to see how other girls behave, besides her sister. Maybe she'll even attempt to change some behaviours on her own? Mr. Lehmann takes the risk and admits Lieselotte into the "Little Women's Club", a small gathering exclusive for rich, young women where they talk literature and fashion twice a week. But it turns out the young ladies are a bit more daring then first suggested. They love the occult, even going as far as ghost hunting in the graveyard in the middle of the night without their fathers and husbands permission. When one of the women get their nose into information that Lieselotte has claimed to be haunted, they all scream with glee and excitement. Lieselotte is less thrilled; don't they understand how horrible it is to be her? "Let's bring them out!" one of the ladies suggest. This is doomed to end badly.

Prompt 6 ; Dicliplin

Madame Marie is convinced she can fix Lieselotte. "It's all abouit diciplin" she claims and is able to convince to leave her alone with the confused young girl for a week. With her cane and strict habits, she's planning to get Lieselotte on the right track. "Stop looking under the tables! There's no one there! Stop mumbling and keep your back straight! Get that hair out of your mouth. What are you whining about?".

Prompt 7 ; Restless

Once again Lieselotte is having a sleepless night. The creatures are lurking in the shadows, and the Grinning Man is awfully chatty.

Prompt 8 ; Just like you, just like me

While on a train trip to London, Lieselotte gets herself in trouble. An ugly creature is blocking the door, and once again she starts walking in circles, mumbling upset to herself. Then something strange happens; another passenger walks into the hall and freaks out by the door as well. "Bloody hell---! When will I get peace?", but unlike Lieselotte, the passenger just whisks the creature away, just like Marianne used to do, and continues on like nothing happened. Who is this strange person? Lieselotte follows imidiatley and demands anwsers and explanations. The passenger isn't all that willing to talk though, and least of all to her.

Prompt 9 ; A day of peace

Lieselotte, Ella and Annaliese is visiting the town, and sure enough Ashes shows up and act like a safe scarf as he always does. No ugly monsters show up, no voices, no bullies. Finally, some time to breath. Maybe it's that I don't return home at all? "Maybe you and I should run away?" Lieselotte jokingly asked the cat. "Perhaps?" it awnsered back. Waaaaaaaaait a second---. What?

Prompt 10: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the maddest of them all?

Lieselotte has somehow made her way to the attic and found herself a mirror that, oddly enough, doesn't break every time she looks into it. Additionally it appears to show some strange things as well. Everything seems to be brighter, more lively and beautiful in it. Lieselotte takes it downstairs. Wait---, who was that shadow in the corner of the mirror? Mom?

Prompt 11: The nightly guest

Not only is Lieselotte considered mad by her friends and family, but now she's sleepwalking too?! She keeps awakening in strange places; on the stairs, under the kitchen sink, on top of a shelf... Last time she was found in the basement, chained to a chair, dressed in her father's jacket. Nobody has seen her move about though, and Lieselotte has a few ideas who it really might be moving her around.
