Here is where any Soldier may apply for a promotion in rank. To be considered for promotion you must have passed the preliminary requirements outlined here. Once that is done copy and paste the form below to begin the process.
*NOTE: You may request to be promoted or you may have your direct commander (being the person right above you) request the promotion for you. Personnel that are recommended for promotion by their direct commander will have a higher chance of getting promoted than those who request promotions themselves.

Request for Promotion
Person Requesting Promotion: Suicidesoldier#1
Person to be Promoted: Suicidesoldier#1
Current Rank/Grade: Private/E-2
Requested Rank to be Promoted to: Staff Sergeant/E-6
Reason Why You/Person Recommended Should be Promoted: *Primarily* to serve as a drill sergeant in the rapid deploy fast action surgical strike unit for both aggressive attack strategy and light reconnaissance. The unit will be comprised of light infantry who will occasionally use various insertion techniques from dunebuggies light vehicles, to zodiacs and small gunboats, and helicopter insertion to airborne paratrooper landing.
Hopefully the unit will provide both fast action and light reconnaissance through multiple techniques. Eventually, the light gunboat and zodiac naval platforms may branch off to form a more solid Navy, consisting of heavier, more numerous, or more specifically designated naval units.
For now I suggest combining these roles in a single multiple insertion strike unit designed to implement light infantry.
Also I'd like to help out in the Heavier Mechanized unit. ninja
