Fin'lay padded quietly from the dens to a small path that would eventually lead her to to the edge of the pridal lands and to where she was having yet another meeting with the guards. This time however it wouldn't really be a meeting. Today, today was her fun day. She would be practicing some fighting techniques with them, though no one would be the wiser. While she wasn't openly going to admit that she sometimes did this or really knew how to fight at all it wasn't a big secret. Then again, neither her or the guards that practiced with her talked about this.
For just a moment she allowed herself to sigh. It was neither happy or sad, just indifferent. Things seemed to be changing a lot lately. It was still unclear to her if it was a good or bad change. It would all depend on how things progressed from here on out. A smile came to her maw. There were a few changes that were especially welcome. Though she was having a hard time admitting to herself that she really did enjoy these particular changes.
Shaking her head slightly, the smile still gracing her features she raised her head to the stars. She wondered at that moment just what exactly these stars had up their sleeves. "These stars." Fin'lay said out loud. They were changing everything.

Nyota was finally at peace with herself but ever since she split up Zu and found herself things have been easier she still has nightmares but she didn't wake up in a sweat anymore like she used to. Perhaps it was because her daughter and Kumo who was practically her son were with her and she was happy. She was beginning to learn the ins and out of the labyrinth that she now lived it. She was returning from some time out gathering some plants for medicinal uses when she say the queen. She smiled please to see her out, it was a bit funny she was probably older and yet This lovely purple female was the leader but she was fine with that she had no leadership qualities except knowledge of travel. " Good evening my queen" she said bowing her head "lovely evening isn't it."

Once more her thoughts were shifted to something less complicated. Her gold eyes shifted from the stars above her to the the black female before her with the swirly designs. A smile once more came to her maw. "Nyota. Merry meet." Fin'lay said, returning her greeting. "It is. The stars are especially bright tonight." She nodded, looking up at them for a moment before returning her gaze to Nyota.
"Were you out gathering herbs?" Fin'lay asked, frowning a bit at herself for a moment. "Is herbs right? My knowledge of your particular field is rather limited." She openly admitted with a nervous laugh following it. Then she once more smiled. "Are you adjusting to difference in lifestyles here?" Fin'lay asked curiously.

Nyota looked up at the night sky it was bright. She smiled wondering if her family was up there she knew her stepmom was she missed her dearly."Yes it's lovely tonight." She paused looked down at her satchel. "Oh yes there herbs for common injuries I heard you were training guard so I figured I'd best be prepared." She chuckled a little becoming familiar with herbs was something one normally grows up learning at least gaining abasic knowledge it also requires advanced memory skill but it was easier then one might think. Nyota paused in her thought " You look troubled." she said the Fin'lay. A worried look flashed across her face for a moment Nyota wanted to make sure the queen was okay but she would force her to talk.

Fin'lay laughed. "Indeed. Hopefully no one will cause to much injury to the other." She nodded towards Nyota's satchel. "But you are right, it's best to be prepared." She paused and then smiled. "We are lucky to have someone of your skill within our boarders."
At Nyota's comment she lost her smile but her eyes still showed a friendly-ness to them. "Just an endless sea of thoughts that plague me." She said picking her words carefully. "But it is nothing to worry about." Fin'lay said, finally smiling. "I will be fine once the future become a bit more clear to me." She really didn't want to worry the lioness or anyone else for that matter. Nothing to bad was happening. Just, uncertainty more on her end. Especially over a new feeling that was growing in her heart.
"I hope Sarraga is adjusting well. I've yet to encounter her. Though I have met Kumonryu." She smiled a bit at his name. "He's certainly a warrior in the making." Once more Fin'lay smiled. Something about him always brought a smile to her maw. Though, majority of the time she hardly realized that it did.

Nyota noticed her uplifting smile towards her son. "That he is, always looking out for others." she wondered if there was anything a mother should know but they were both grown up she thought it best to stay out of there affairs. "Sara is adjusting quite wonderfully she is hoping to follow in my footsteps." She smiled please ld to have at least one of her kin here with her. "I hope Kumo was polite and well-manner upon your encounter, although I'm sure he was he has always been well mannered, sometimes too well mannered." She chuckled a little knowing how Kumo was still a bit naive.

"That's wonderful news!" She said with a large grin. "We certainly need more Nurse's. Let alone one's who will know the expertise in that field like you do." She grimaced for a moment. "I trust you won't tell the priestesses I said such a thing." Fin'lay grinned once more then winked.
"Indeed. He is very well mannered and rather wise for his age." Fin'lay sighed. "But still far to young." It was probably unwise for her to admit she had some unusual feelings for the boy, especially to his mother. She just hoped that whatever these feelings were that they would quickly pass. As she said, he was far to young for her. Even though she really was not much older then him. Fin'lay smiled. "You've done a wonderful job raising him. He certainly admires you." She admitted. "But as you said, maybe you might have done to well." Fin'lay couldn't help but laugh. She really had. Whether it was simply her just encouraging behavior he had before he had come into Nyota's care or not.

Nyota smiled her mother would always tell her she was no fool and Nyota had just begun to realize wht she meant since she had cubs if her own. After her day with Zu she came home and her mother saw unwritten words all over her face words of love. Just like now Nyota could see it on her face but she thought best not to pry. "Your secret is safe with me." She was pleased to hear he was raise properly. "if you ever find yourself lost in a problem looking into water can show the answer." She smiled "It's also best to do it Ina full moon." She just wanted to give her some helpful word because she seemed very lost in herself.

Nyota's guess of Fin'lay being lost was not at all far from the truth. In fact it was quite on target. She was. Though, mainly due to her conflicting emotions and thoughts towards to Kumonryu. Feeling this love emotion at least in this way was totally new to her and she knew nothing of how to handle it. More then anything she wanted to just put it on the back burner. He was to young, and had a great deal of learning left. Then again she did too. She might be Sgiach, but she certainly was not old enough to have the wisdom she really needed.
"Hmm..." Fin'lay said, curiously tilting her head to one side. "I shall have to try that sometime." She said, not sure how looking into water could help her. Then again, Nyota was probably one of the wisest females she knew. It would probably be advantageous to her to heed her advice. "Thank you." She said, with a nod.

Nyota smiled "Your welcome." She smiled hopeful she might try her advice. Nyota bowed her head,"I shall leave you to train the guards" she chuckled and headed toward to caves mouth she had to get the medicine ready for the guard who become wounded but something told her this wouldn't be the last time she would help the queen especially when it came to the matters of her son.
