I'm now 19. and it seems like i've spent these 19 years of my life..trying to make everyone else happy. Always putting others needs and problems before mines.. Feeling like everyone's doormat..
BUT DAMMIT I WUNNA BE HAPPY TOO!! D; I WANT SOMETHING FOR ME THIS TIME!!
AM I SOUNDING SELFISH?!? D;

No, you have every right to your own happiness. Say no from time to time. If anything, you will find out your true friends.
I work with the elderly and have only ever had two days off sick in three years. I always help out, frequently stay behind and give a hand to those who need it. I very rarely get a hand back. When I was off sick, three people who I thought liked me said I was faking. I knew who my friends where after that. Say no, you will weed the kiss-asses out.

everyone deserves to be happy including one's self. My happiness is from making others laugh and being a goof with my friends, I also enjoy story writing so my happiness is to just being around people real or fictional. Finding what makes one happy is always a good goal in life, if what you do is for yourself and others think you so then they are the ones being selfish. emotion_bigheart

Nothing sounds wrong with that, however, if you notice that you've been feeling like that for as long as you can remember, maybe you are selfish, but deluded yourself into thinking you were selfless. That was a harsh moment to have...
