It's been fun looking at old topics. I was such a youngin back then.
Update if anyone comes across this. Getting married in September, graduating school in a couple quarters, I showed my senior thesis film which was over a year in the making. It's been a hell of a year. heart
I still have a big place in my heart for the guild and the people I knew here. Hope everyone is well!

Life goes on.
Nice.
Back when this place was everything to me, I was nobody and nothing. It took me a long time, much longer than it should have, to escape the madness and make sense of my life. To put forth the effort to become something more, and to better myself. Not to wallow in my sorrows, but to become a shining beacon of light for those who would come after me.
I figure, there will be others following in my footsteps, so I should at least pretend best I can that I know where I'm going, and that it's a place worth visiting. What else could I ask of myself, but to be the best me I can be?
Lately, I have been doing a lot of looking into my past. Maybe part regret, part longing. But I'm glad it's over, and that I'm through it. Even the hard times and the terrible choices I've made have shaped me into something stronger. Better.
I hope everyone else will find their way. There are many paths, but I don't think it matters which path you take so much as how you travel, and who you travel with.
