An average dream has been said to only last thirty seconds, how can something so fleeting give hope and renewal to those who gaze upon the alternate world? To Isabliss the answer was simple, for even if thirty seconds is a small wisp of time in the broad spectrum, those ephemeral seconds can change the course of someone’s life.

The sleepless Angeni knew that dreams and reality are only separated by a thin translucent veil and that those thirty seconds in the Realm of Dreams would not alter one’s fate in the Awake world, but even in the harsh reality, dreams of many were coming into being.

With silver eyes the mare looked out at the lush world, it was hard to imagine that what she was witnessing was not a figment of her imagination; the world was spectacular place and due to her inability to sleep, she had created a world inside her mind where she could enter the land of dreams while still awake. It was because of this ability to day dream, she at times, confused the two worlds and believing a dream was reality and reality was the dream.

Since she parted ways with her two sons, Isabliss had been entering into her mental world more often during her constant travels. Slowly she removed herself from the Realm of Dreams and gazed about her soundings with half closed eyes; the land was new to her, not once before had she walked among the creatures and inhabitants who called the valley home. Throughout her perpetual journeys following the North Wind, the Angeni would encounter an eclectic group of individuals, who would become her friend and would remain thus, for the mare believed that friends never truly said goodbye.

In the vast sky above her, a blue jay soared, letting the wind take him farther and farther away from the earth and into the freedom of the sky; a twang of sadness filled the mare, she wished she was as free as that bird, but the North Wind had other plans for her. Soon it would blow and send her to another land to learn and meet others would become her friends.
