Samia was tired, yes, or was that just inside her head? She wasn't sure. An odd smile had settled on her face though, despite her dim surroundings on the inside she was on fire. Crue made her tongue dry and her heart melt, though she couldn't quite place why. When she thought about it it made her dizzy. That was why she had followed him into this place. But now that they were there, she was foggy.
"What are we-" she paused, looking out toward the mouth of the cave. The sun had begun to set and she could see the outline of the moon beginning to rise. It was calming, and she looked at him without finishing her question. "I bet you shine under the moon." She felt like a nervous little cub.

He was sure she felt that imaginary sense of security now. He had finally gotten her back, and his expression had changed to a haughty one once they were inside the cave. He didn't much mind what she did, so long as she learned that she was going to do what he said. He didn't have to hit anyone to make them listen, though if it needed to happen... He hoped it didnt, he didn't like being his father.
He did not look at her when she started to speak, instead it looked like he blatantly ignored her. Though when she complimented him a cruel smile took hold of his maw. "I bet I do too. Must be a great gift, to stand so close to me." He said, though the teasing tone was lacking.

She shivered, her mind telling her to run but simultaneously fascinated. It was like staring into the sun, she liked it. "Where did you come from?" she asked breathlessly, laying down against the cool earth to steady herself as she looked up at him. His smile was frightening, but she couldn't look away.
It was like all those ghost stories her father used to tell her, those things to scare her away from leaving the safety of the pride. "You have to have come from somewhere," she added, more meekly this time. Or maybe he hadn't, maybe he had just appeared.

He smiled a bit when she continued talking to him. Obviously she didn't see the darkness that was within him yet. He wasn't really trying to hide it anymore either.
"I come from the shadows. From the dark recesses of your mind." He said simply, as if it was nothing at all. Though that was not the type of response you expected for that question. Yellow sharp eyes turned and locked on her, taking in the sight of her. Father would hate that she was white.. But Crue wasn't so biassed.
"If you must know where I come from, I've been told it's Hell. But who knows." He grinned again.

Hell. She hadn't heard the word before, not that she could remember, but it make her mouth go dry. "Is your family there?" she heard herself continue, trying to get closer to him, "More, like you?"
The thought scared her, of a place like her own home but backwards. Of a family, like hers, made up of lions with silver tongues and black hearts. Her father would be so angry, she couldn't help but let a little smile slip. He was so sickeningly sweet.

He was apparently much more like her family than she realized. He could sell ice to an eskimo he was so smooth. He also had a heart as black as was possible. That was.. if it was even there. He wasn't sure he particularly HAD a heart.
"Oh yes. Very much so. Plenty more where I come from.. Though none of them hold a candle to my...talents." He said, leading her on. He wasn't outright being vicious, but his tone was turning..dark.

"Talents?" she questioned, her eyes wide as she watched him. What talents could he possibly have that she hadn't seen? He was strong and intelligent, that was obvious, but what else lay beneath the surface? Her better instinct told her that this was the cue to escape, but she couldn't force her legs to move beneath her. Instead she just waited, captivated.
Her mother, blind as she was, could have seen through this trap, and Samia could hear her voice inside her mind chiding her for being so stupid. But it was distant, muffled, she couldn't connect it to the moment.

"They just don't seem to have the flair for pain that I do. Father is a tyrant, and he gets jollies by simply taking everything he can. I'm far beyond that." He answered simply, and stood so that he could sit in front of the den entrance. Effectively blocking her view of the stars.
"They just don't have the passion I do, I guess." He said, and he winked. He wondered what was going through her head, and if she realized what he was saying yet. She was beautiful. That was true, but her beauty was what had caught her in this trap.

Far beyond that? She wondered, taking in a deep breath. She found it was hard to let it go, she liked the dizzy feeling that came from depriving herself of the release. So what was around her was all she would be allowed to see, she thought, turning from him to the bare cracked walls. No escape either, she noted. Not that she would, or could, she thought as the air slowly hissed out from between her teeth.
"Passion?" she said within the hissing sound, the word feeling damp on her tongue. She knew what he meant, somewhere in her mind, but it didn't surface. All she could fathom was that voice, silky and sweet like flower petals. That, she thought, was passion.

"Yes. Passion. I see no point in doing anything if you have no passion." He thought for a moment, before waving his paw motioning her to the back of the den. He did not want to sit here the entire time, and he wanted to make sure she knew who she belonged to for the time being.
"I want to get something very clear." He said, his eyes glowing like fire. "You have one rule." His voice was firm..demanding.. It was likely a terrible tone to hear directed at you.
"That rule is you will do as I say. If I ever choose to release you, then that is my perogative. If you fail to do what I command.. Well let's say I will really have to show you Hell first hand." He said, and he tsked.

She tried to object but her mouth felt like it was full of rocks. Instead she just made a strange squeaking noise and moved where he told her to. For the first time she she had met him she truly felt scared, her fur standing on end and her pupils turned pinpoint as she kept tracking him while she moved. She could run, maybe, but certainly not far. He outweighed her and certainly had more experience fighting.
So she would follow his rule. It couldn't go on forever. Either it would end or she would, that much she knew. She only wished she knew which.
