Alexa entered the city limits of Katrina. She had recently finished training up north after traveling with a caravan. Now she was back to the big city to pick up some supplies and a big order she had placed. She normally would have had the order shipped to her home in Motterossa but something went wrong with the process last time and she didn't want a repeat.

Sitting on Vincent's back she directed him towards the pokemon center. She needed to get her other pokemon healed, they had some rough battles with wild pokemon on the way here. "Alright Vincent. Nice and easy. I can't have you running amok in a city like this..... good boy." She said. She slid down his back and reached for his ball. Hearing him whine made her pause. "Fine. But you need to stay right here. You're too big to go in unless you're in your ball. Now stay."

Vincent was happily looking around as Alexa rode on top of his back. He was super eager to be back in the city as there were all kinds of sights to see not to mention all the different pokemon. He allowed her to direct him to the pokemon center and stood still as she slid down. When she reached for his pokeball he whined. He didn't want to go back in the ball. He would be a good boy if he could stay out. When she gave the command to stay he sat down and tried his best to look obedient.

Vincent's great head was swinging back and forth. He was starting to regret not going in his ball as he was being good and staying but it was very boring. He so wanted to go home and play with his toy collection. The zoruas' needed to be watched closely as they were constantly trying to make a move in the on going war between them and the growlithes.

Hearing a greeting he looked down and nearly jumped in surprise. There was a Zorua right there talking to him! His eyes instantly narrowed and a growl escaping his lips. Were the toys recruiting actual zoruas now to fight against him?!

It didn't take Alexa long to get her other three pokemon healed. Walking outside she was immediately alerted by Vincent's growl. She looked around expecting danger but there was only a young zorua and a older man. She quickly walked over to Vincent and laid a hand on him. "Calm down Vincent.... the zorua isn't doing anything to you." That comment earned her a dirty look and a very low growl. "Vincent. I'm not playing..... oh crap. Don't think actual zoruas are like your toys!" Leave it to her childish arcanine to mix up play time with reality.

"More like a big child. He needs to get his head together." Alexa replied frowning at Vincent. She then crouched down and looked at the zorua. "Your Zorua sure is pretty. Is it okay to pet.... um.... which gender is it? I can't tell."

Vincent huffed hearing Alexa's reply and the zorua's chatter. He tensed up when his trainer crouched down, ready for the evil creature to attack her any minute. When no such attack came he relaxed. Finally bending down he got his face right up in Zaire's and blew a big puff of air out of his nose. "Yes that's my person. She's mine so leave her be...... and I'm watching you. Can't fool me. I know what you zoruas are all about." He woofed at Zaire.

Alexa reached her hand out giving Zaire a moment to sniff her before petting her. "She sure is pretty. And Zaire is an interesting name. Big guy there is Vincent. I'm Alexa Holtzer."

Vincent regarded the zorua for a moment. "Of course I do. You are all evil pokemon amassing to form a giant army to destroy all the growlithes who stand against you!" He declared. Of course he was speaking of his war game he has going on between his growlithe and zorua toys he stole from Alexa during Christmas.

Alexa smiled seeing how much Zaire was getting into the petting. She giggled a little as she rubbed the spot Zaire put under her hand. Apparently that was the spot to get. "Hello Ed. That's cool. I don't know what Vincent means."

Vincent sat up fully and drooped his ears. He didn't like being ignored like that and certainly didn't like his trainer petting another without petting. He let a whine escape and hopefully thumped his tail against the ground.

"Certainly. Saves me from having to apologize when he knocks you down trying to get you to pet him." Alexa said with a smile, "He may be big but he still acts like he's a little Growlithe."

Vincent definitely didn't agree with that statement. Alexa was the best ever! Surely she was better than this old man. But as soon as Ed asked if he wanted to be petted he slowly inched over while wagging his tail harder.

Vincent really got into the petting and scratching. He leaned into Ed moving to put his hands where he had itchy spots. Soon his back leg was moving and thumping the ground along with his tail. After several moments like this he finally leaned away from Ed and began using his moving leg to start scratching himself behind a ear.

Alexa petted Zaire a little more and gave her a good back scratching. Finally she stopped and sat back on her heels. "There. I'm sure that felt good."
