Cheeva Catkin Cheeva sat back on her bed, reading a book. She was still learning how to use Braille - after all, the accident hadn't been all that long ago - and it was a little infuriating having to start from scratch. But at least she was progressing. Albeit slowly. She leaned back with a sigh, wincing as she heard something in her back crack audibly, before reaching for her glass of water. The dormitory around her was quiet, for now. Likely the caterwauling herds weren't that far away. Ah well, they were always fun to harass. And if no one showed up, she might mosey her way elsewhere, just to see if she couldn't have a little jab at someone. Adjusting her capelet, Cheeva smirked. Stirring up some trouble in the other dorms, as a cat, might be fun. [[just placing Chee in case anyone from Quartz appears. Still swamped with editing, so replies are slow]]

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up.Suzume wandered the dorms in wonder. She never got to live in such a beautiful building before. She mostly lived on the road as a traveling performer so her sleeping place was wagon. "What a spiffy place!" Suzume remarked as she ran up and down the stairs, admiring everything.
When she was done, she realized that someone already was in a room. She knocked on the door and poked her head in. A girl was there and she had a book in her hands so Suzume figured she was reading. She wondered if it was math stuff. She hoped it wasn't literature or poetry though. Suzume wasn't a big fan of that kind of stuff. "Hello there! What are you reading?"
((I know she's blind but Suzume doesn't know. I'm also distracted with stuff to so slow posts are fine. XD))If it's not any fun, then why bother?" .

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’ - A strange complaint to come
As she strolled through the dorms, Kasie couldn't help but wonder why exactly she was assigned here in the first place. It wasn't as though she had belongings or that she could even sleep, so what was the point? Then again, it could have been common courtesy just to give her place here. Awh, how sweet! Plus, this meant that she was free to socialize with her dorm mates and talk nonsense! Speaking of which, she should do that right now.
Immediately, Kasie spotted Suzume outside a room and chirped out. "Suzu! Hey! Nice to see you again! What's up? Haha, that's so awesome that we're in the same dorms together." Of course, she was curious as to who the girl was talking to, so she hovered above Suzume to peer in as well. Oh! A new girl? That was great. Now she had another victim person to chat with. "Oh! Hello to you too, girl I have never met before. I'm Kasie. What's your name? Seeing as though we're going to be stuck sleeping together, we should all get to know each other sooner than later. Well, I can't exactly sleep, but still, we should do that! It might seem a bit rude, but I'd like to know whether or not someone has stinky feet or something before I actually come across it. After all, it's better to know beforehand than to let everyone suffer from it. You don't have any B.O. do you? I wouldn't hold it against you, but I'd just recommend a lot of showers and perfume..."

Cheeva Catkin Oh no, just thinking about them had summoned the throngs of squealing and "twee". Cheeva was horrified. This had to be some kind of warped super power. Maybe if she thought about them leaving, they would go? She tried her hardest, but no such luck. Instead, it only seemed to summon a second one, even more irritating than the first. What had she done to deserve this? "A book," clearly, Cheeva drawled in the face of the first question, her thumb trapped in the covers to keep her place. She had a feeling she wasn't going to be able to concentrate with the two of them - and maybe more, lurking and so far unheard - and she didn't realy want to answer questions about why her book had bumps in it, rather than words. She was sure the girls would know what Braille was - or, at least, she had hopes their intelligence was that sub-par - but she really didn't want to answer any questions. Mostly because she was still learning, herself. Her mouth dropped open, slightly, at the slur of questions from the other girl. She was speechless, for a moment, in the face of the rambled onslaught. Cheeva jaw quickly snapped closed, though, as she scowled. "My name is Cheeva, not "girl". I can only imagine you would be offended if I chose to call you something like, "Human" so please, if you don't mind, I prefer my name to be used. And I can assure you, I do not smell. Now, would you like to continue to insult me, or may I return to reading, sans the verbal abuse?" [[She's a charmer. And that's fine Chocolate ^^ Most people aren't going to know until they meet her. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up.Whee! That sounds like a lot of fun to tell the truth! Suzume grinned at the idea. Cheeva is actually really funny! "I wanna give it a try, Kasie! Wait, wait. Umm.... How ya doing, Ghost!" Suzume asked as she reached to grab Kasie's hand to shake only to go through Kasie's hands and get her own hands wet.
"Hmm... that didn't work. Sorry, about that, Kas-- I mean!! Ghost!" Suzume cried out, almost forgetting about what she was attempting to do.
She turned to Cheeva. "My name is Suzume and I'm human. Kasie used to be human, but she's a ghost now." Suzume said, being insensitve as usual and telling it like it is. Fortuantely Kasie didn't seem to be sensitive about being a ghost. "And I don't smell either, so I guess we're all not smelly people. Erm, but perfume makes my eyes water and makes me feel like I'm smelling polluted air, so we can avoid perfume since none of us smell!"If it's not any fun, then why bother?" .

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’ - A strange complaint to come
"'Girl' isn't an insult at all! Haha, it's just general labeling since I had no clue about your name. After all, we're all girls here. At least, I hope so." Kasie snickered, making a mental note to add this girl to her slowly growing list of the people she needed to see smile. She was then reminded that she should recruit Suzume and Kamil into helping her. After all, it was just Ayu and her, but with more help, they could make miracles of having these lemon faces crack a smile or two happen. Though, that would have to happen at another time.
"I'm doing fine, um, Human!" She beamed, giggling into her hands when Suzume missed, but really, that was an awkward thing to say. "Hm... I guess you're right after all, Cheeva. It's really weird to call people by that stuff, so I'll stick to actual name-name stuff."
"If you really want, you can get back to reading, but think about it, you have the whole weekend to look through some book. You can always get back to it another time." She idly remarked. Hey, she never mentioned anything about not not involving her or talking her ear off. Plus, a person could still chat while reading right? It might be difficult, but it was still doable.
Kasie looked over at Suzume and nodded at her request. "Got it. It's not like I can really use perfume, but yeah, I got this. Of course, I tend to smell like the ocean a lot, but I can't exactly help that. Hopefully, no one is allergic or minds too much?"

Cheeva Catkin Oh God, why were they so happy? Was everyone drugged here? Should she avoid drinking the water? Or maybe she was trapped in a mental asylum. Cheeva wouldn't put it past her aunt to do something like that for a laugh. The woman was diabolical when she wanted to be. Maybe if she whacked herself in the head with the book a few...million times... "I never said I disliked perfume," Cheeva said, raising an eyebrow. "I simply said I did not smell." She turned her ire on the other girl. "And it is insulting to be referred to by ones race or species. You simply could have asked what my name was, without needing to add "girl". Unless you are confused by genders." "And I am not "looking" through the book," Cheeva crossed her arms. The girl - or ghost, whatever she was - smelled like the ocean. Perfect. "You smell like the sea? Well, that explains it. I do rather hate the water."

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up.Yup! Kasie is totally right. Suzume didn't want to deal with this. Names were much, much better. Besides, if she yelled out ghost all the time, she's bound to scare somebody out there. Suzume shook her hands to get rid of the water, but it only made her hands feel cold.
"But it's the weekend! I like to read math stuffs but since it's the weekend, it's more fun to play! Speaking of which, we should all try playing a game or something. But I guess it has to be a game that doesn't require touching things since you can't really do it, Kasie." Suzume remarked as she crossed her arms. Then what kind of game can they play. Hide and seek seemed like fun since the dorm was big and no one really knew it.
"Well, if you're not reading, you can chat with us! And I didn't know water had a smell! If I tried to smell water, I'd drown!"If it's not any fun, then why bother?" .

"Then I'll be sure to do that the next time I meet someone new. Well, unless I can somehow rewind time to change what I said, I hope you can forgive me for messing up. Don't worry. I tend to learn more when people tell me off than me ever finding out on my own." Kasie sheepishly grinned at Cheeva. Wow, she didn't mean to offend someone that much with her jokes. She should definitely tone it down then if people were going to feel down from it. Definitely. Of course, she might make a few slip ups every now and then, but it was just like stalking. Habits were hard to kill off.
"'Looking,' 'reading,' blah. It's all the same. If you two hadn't noticed, I'm not a big fan of that stuff, so that's why I say we should put books away for another day. Haha! Suzu, that's a great idea! We should totally play a game as a good distraction. What kind though? Any ideas?" She couldn't help it. She easily dismissed anything that had to deal with reading. How can anyone enjoy it? It was just... words. Then again, studying and reading were essentially the same thing. It was simply a needless requirement to do for Kasie. Maybe that's why she couldn't find any pleasure in doing so. "Well, oops? I can always make sure to stay a distance away from you, Cheeva, but then that means I have to holler every time I want to talk to you. That's not too bad though. For me that is. I'm not all too sure about you."
"I don't think water really has a smell, Suzu. It's more like the salt in the ocean has a smell if that makes any sense. I think. Hm. Anyway, if you drown, at least you won't be the only wet ghost around."

Cheeva Catkin "I can imagine you prefer to play," Cheeva said, dryly. "I'm sure all the big scary words pale in comparison to pretty flashing lights. Here's a game, why don't you go and try to smell some water? There are plenty of sinks and baths about the place." Ugh, clearly the idiots weren't going to leave her be until they'd wrangled her into whatever this "game" was going to be. Maybe she really could talk them into smelling water. But then she'd have to explain why she was the only idiot still alive. "Looking and reading are not the same," Cheeva drawled, dog-earing the page before leaning over the side of the bed to grab her cane. She wasn't quite used to the dorm enough, yet, to get about without it. And she had a feeling that the furniture wasn't going to stay in one place with this lot around. "Looking requires eyesight. Reading doesn't, necessarily." "What exactly does this game entail?"

Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ Misaki dashed through the dorm hallways, skipping steps as she went through the stairs. She burst into her room and grabbed her swords that were leaning on the wall. She sighed. She was ready to face that thing again.
"Alright... I got this." Misaki said as she took a deep breath. "Mother and father above, please watch over me."
Misaki then ran out of the dorm and was back outside the school to fight the monster with her swords equipped this time.

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn had returned to her dorm in the end. There was nothing to do and the school was deserted. When she entered the dorm, she couldn't help but be awed with how pretty it was. "It's almost as cute as my room! But my room is cuter since it has pink and red and all those colors. Well, I'd better go to my new room and decorate it so that it's cuter than the dorm!" Reilynn said to no one in particular.
She bounded into the dorm and up the stairs to her room. Her things were already sent in and all she had to do was unpack. She took out her paint brush that she carried everywhere. "Time to use magic!" Reilynn cried out and she waved her wand.
Her luggage exploded and just made a big mess of clothes. Reilynn blinked. "Well that just made more work than I wanted. Now I have to refold all these! Darn it!" Reilynn cried out as she put her hands on her hips. She put her paint brush away. "Well, whatever! I can totally handle this!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "I don't get what people get so worked up.Suzume was resting in her room when she heard an explosion and a girlishly high-pitched voice in the room next to hers. It didn't sound like Kasie's voice and Misaki's and Cheeva's voices were lower and more mature than the one she was hearing.
Suzume got up to investigate this intruder. Hey! Isn't the room supposed to be vacant? Suzume opened the door to see who was inside. It was a girl that looked about Suzume's age! Well, everyone in this school was like that. But she seemed really nice. "Hello there! Are you a new student! Do you need help? What did you do to your room? Did you just throw all your clothes around?" Suzume asked with a laugh. "Want me to help? Two hands are better than one after all!"
((Suzume will keep Reilynn company while I wait for the infirmary to clear up. 8D))If it's not any fun, then why bother?" '

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn jumped. Oh! It was a girl! A pretty girl too! Her fashion wasn't all that bad! And she wore red! Red is such an awesome color!
"Yeah! I'm a new student! My name is Reilynn? What's your name?" Reilynn said. "And I didn't throw all my clothes around, my paint brush made my luggage explode! Now I have to hurry up and get all these clothes folded! Oh! But you said you'd help me! Yes! You're awesome! I think we'll be great friends! Alright! Let's go fold all these clothes!"
Reilynn started piling all her clothes in one area and started to hurriedly fold her clothes. "Say? Suzume, where are you from?" Reilynn asked. "Your clothes are really pretty! I like your sense of fashion! Maybe I'll go visit your place and get some clothes there too!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"
