User Image Graveyard wasn't often perturbed by her dreams. Every now and again she had ones that had....a demonic feel to them. Some even so far as when she woke, she woke with a creature summoned from her very dreams. Other's were soft and gentle, a meeting of people in their dream worlds.

She wasn't what people would call a dream walker, one who found themselves in other's dreams but more of....a dream seer. What she saw was often things that had happened in the past, in the present and in the future. Most often, it was the latter. Events to come.

Even now she had woken in her small cottage, light streaming in. The dream she had was the meeting of power. A meeting with the first sage she had felt ever besides Miusa. She didn't know who the sage was, if it was a girl or a boy...If it was a druid, Excorsima or a Simple Sage of all magics.

She just knew she was going to meet someone of power. Stretching, Her ears twitched at the sound of invasive breathing, that of not her familers Savage, trickle down the hallway. Sighing, she pushed herself up.

"It looks like our Cousin has come to invade my home with his stink and women." Graveyard spoke to Savage who only yipped in return. Following behind her. She located her so called cousin, a term honorary to those who came from her tribe, sawing the wood on the small couch.

Oddly enough, he didn't reek of alcohol or cheap woman. Something Graveyard could and would smell intensely...seeing as she was a Black wolf Mononoke.

She stared at him long before moving away. A bad move on her part because as soon as she turned around, the man was up and arms wrapped around her. "Good morning cousin." He groggily said, "Think you can escape after I caught your scent in my sleep?" Graveyard made a disgusted face before shifting into a wolf and slipping out of his grip.

"I find the fact that you insitently need to touch me annoying, even more so that you do it based of scent of me. I could smell you from my room and came to see why I would be graced with such a horrible morning call..." She shook him off, then ruffled her fur. "Since your up now, you should go back to your job and leave all the kindly." She bite at him before prancing out, "I have a blind date with a unknown sage."

Ashkii frowned as she strutted out in her wolf form, Savagee, her identical familar right next to her. Date? With some unknown person? No way in hell.

"I don't have work today, day off, hence why I came to see you Cousin." He grabbed the most essential of his gear before following her out the door, "I want to meet this unknown person...." He grinned.

To anyone else it looked like a man with two huge black wolfs for companions. Whoever he'd come across would be surprised to find one of them a human with magic potent enough to turn her into half animal.

"So do you know where this mysterious sage is?" Ashkii asked. he earned a wolf shrug from Graveyard who simply stated, "Somewhere in Claus Arbor..." Before setting upon to smell for a Sage of powerful magics.

Ashkii on the other hand was on the look out for any potential dangers

User ImageShe could feel the gazes of some of the other townspeople fall on her as they passed by, but she paid them little mind. Seated beneath a tree, her full concentration was focused on the the large, open book that sat in the grass in front of her. Judging by the size and the thickness of the pages, it looked as if she were reading an encyclopedia...which she was. An encyclopedia of the wild plants that grew around these parts, to be more precise.

However, it was not the oversized book that had people glancing towards her--it was the fact that, from their point of view, the book was being read by a strange creature. While it was probably obvious that this creature was just a shifted mononoke, kirins tended to be rather unusual looking. Her slender, deer-like body and legs were covered in white scales that were touched with hints of golds and blue-greens. Her feet were hooved, the tip of her tail was long- and fluffy, and her head...

There was something vaguely dragon-like about her head, which was probably what was drawing most of the uncomfortable stares. All in all, to those who may have not seen many kirin mononoke before, Althaia just looked plain strange. Not that it seemed to bother her too much--so long as they didn't intend on trying to attack her or anything, then there was little need to worry, right? She could be left to study.

Or so she thought, when she was suddenly hit by a strange, instinctive feeling. Kind of like...someone--or two someones--were heading her way. How strange--who could they be?

No matter. Either she was imagining the sensation, or two people really were headed this way. And in the latter's case...well, maybe it would be best if she shifted back into her human form, just in case she really did need to greet someone. So, Althaia did exactly that, exchanging her hooves for hands and feet, and her deer-body and dragon-head for their human counterparts.

Picking up her book, she dumped the heavy object into her lap and leafed through the pages. Nothing to do but the way and see if anyone showed up now, she supposed.

She could almost drown in the smell of the sage's magic. Something rippled as she got closer, something like when you meet a kin spirit in a tide of pools or something. One ripple caused another and like a homing device, it wasn't long till Graveyard found the object of her magic's kindredness.

A small girl sat on the tree with a heavy book in her lap, if Graveyard was to put into words how she looked it would be simple. Soft. She seemed even younger then Graveyard but she could feel the wisdom of a Sage lap against her power.

She shifted to her natural human form, from wolf to girl before stepping in front of Ashkii. If he saw the girl, he would wait only-

"Oh hello there pretty lady." Too late as she watched her cousin duck around her and straight up to the sage. Damn that man for his rude greetings.

Unknown that he was being loathed on by his cousin, Ashkii zoomed in on the girl before coming over and bending down. He didn't smell majin on her though even if she was....he would be more tempted to sweep her off her feet and over his shoulder then shooting her through her majin seed.

"Hello Hello, What's a pretty girl like you doing on a day like this?" Not obvious to him was the book in her lap....which was obvious to Graveyard.

"She's reading you brute, stop crowding her." Graveyard pulled him by the scruff of his neck before laying gentle lilac eyes on the girl. "Hello Sage. I think you've been expecting us?" She could feel the tug of divination magic and took a risk by hinting at it. "I didn't know we would meet so soon."

She sensed them before she saw them, feeling the pair draw closer with each step they took, shoes crunching against the gravel. However, she didn't move to tear her gaze away from her book, her eyes skimming each line as she took in the information printed on the large, worn pages. Her small ears pricked up slightly as she heard a male voice speak from a few paces away--something about pretty lady?--before she was suddenly approached by one of the two figures.

"Hello hello," She echoed, a hint of amusement in her voice. Althaia didn't look up, her eyes still glued to the book. She didn't bother answering his question as the girl who was with him did so for her, and it wasn't until the she addressed her did she finally look up. Her lips spread into a small smile as she ignored the man altogether, her attention focused on the mononoke.

"I have been," She nodded, shutting the heavy book in her lap, "Though I'm surprised that you can tell what I am. Not many seem to be able to." Then again, her title of "Sage" was not something that the kirin was prone to go throwing around, and with the strange and eccentric way that she sometimes acted...

Well, let's just say that she didn't give off the typical "wise and mature" vibe that one would expect.

"My name is Althaia." This time, instead of addressing only the girl, she addressed both of them. "Is there something I can do for you?"

Graveyard blinked at the Mononoke before smiling softly. "My magic is not so strong in what I assume yours is but...I felt that it would be proper to address you as such. I had a dream about you." She stated bluntly before looking at Ashkii. "I apologize for his brutish response as well...He doesn't know what personal space and proper manners are." She curtisied before hesitating, "Do you mind if we take a sea-Ash!!"

"Sorry but I don't like standing around." Ashkii sat right next to the girl before grinning, "Young and all powerful. Nice! Whatcha reading cutie?" He looked a the overly sized book for the title before frowning, was that a different language?

Graveyard just sighed as she took a seat as well, her familiar Savage and twin melted back to her shadows, resting in her magic. She blinked before the soft smile returned. Laced only with concern as Ashkii might bother Althaia instead of letting Gravy get to know her. "My name is Graveyard, I am a Ars Lilium living not far from here in Claus Arbor." She looked to Ashkii before sighing, "And the one that is trying to invade your space is my cousin and blackheart Ashkii." She sent a jolt of magic at her cousin that had him snapping back and glaring at her before smiling back at Althaia.

"I just come to pay homage to you. Though I am sure you don't like the publicity." She blinked owlishly, "but I would love to get to know you and perhaps study with you? That is, if you don't mind?" Graveyards tail wagged behind her.

"This is what I got out of bed for? For you to ask to be her student? How about we all three go on a date instead! That sounds much more fun."

Althaia's eyes visibly lit up. "A dream! How interesting--could you tell me more about it?" Or more specifically, the kirin was interested in the other girl's ability. She could never pass down learning more knowledge, and while she had always been interested in magical abilities concerning dreams...well, such a field was definitely not her forte, and books could only tell her so much. A textbook was nothing next to a real person with real experiences.

She didn't seem at all bothered by the fact that Ashkii had decided to sit down beside her, and she even sounded amused as she answered (not very helpfully), "What I am reading is a book, flirty man." Considering how he had chosen to address her as "cutie", she thought that calling him by a nickname was only appropriate.

That, and it was a kind of, I'm on to your flirting and it doesn't work with meeee~ message.

"Graveyard and Ashkii...I will remember your names. It's nice to meet you both." The kirin girl's smile widened, her gaze sliding from one new acquaintance to the other. My, how nice it was to have company--it was much more pleasant when people actually came to talk to her instead of staring at her as they walked past.

Althaia sat up a little straighter at Graveyard's sudden request, golden eyes twinkling, "I do like to study. I certainly don't mind if you--" She paused when Ashkii cut in, and without missing a beat, reaching out with a hand, put it on his face, and pushed him back a bit, "--are interested," She finished.

Sorry, Ashkii. Perhaps he got lucky being spared from going on a date with Althaia though--though she did not seem too bad yet, the girl really was a little odd.
